The wind was hitting your cheeks and whipping your hair as you looked up at the sky. Sometimes you wished you could sit on the clouds and watch over those you loved.

Your head was pounding, a mixture of stress and an overwhelming sense of wrongness. Your eyes glossed over, without you realizing it.

You hadn't felt this empty in a long time. You knew you shouldn't have felt this way - you had your brother, parents, the boyz, Jacob - they all made you feel full and happy. Yet, you felt like the shell of a person, and you hadn't felt like that since Jaesang became obsessed with you.

He made you think that you did something wrong, like it was your fault that he became obsessed with you. He made you think that you were a bad person for not being in love with him.

But you knew that things like that couldn't be forced.

The sky clouded over and you wanted to stay on the rooftop of the school, but didn't want to get rained on once again. You pushed yourself up and put your hands in your pockets, looking at the clouds once again. Your mind was just as cloudy as the sky was.

You let out a deep sigh and headed back to the hallways of the school. You had your head down when someone joined you and started walking with you.

"I'm sorry, Minji." Emiko whispered. "I shouldn't have been so awful to you."

You looked at her. "Don't pity me because of Trick, Emiko. Thank you for covering us from the rain, though."

She stopped in her tracks as you kept walking. Maybe you were right? Was she feeling bad about the way she treated you because she saw you in a vulnerable state? If you didn't believe that she was sorry, then she would prove that she truly was sorry.

Meanwhile, the boys were standing by their lockers, where they had met you on your first day.

"Minji has been very distant the last two days." Sangyeon mumbled.

Eric nodded. "Can you blame her?"

"No, not at all." Haknyeon replied. "I would be just as upset if I were her. Trick was like her best friend."

Sunwoo crossed his arms. "Then add Jaesang into the number."

Jacob was worried about you, they all were, but you hadn't been asking them to stay over, you hadn't been spending as much time with them during the school day. You still sat with them at lunch, so they counted their blessings. Jacob was afraid that you were distancing yourself from them so Jaesang wouldn't say anything to them. He couldn't voice this concern, since he was the only one who knew about what Jaesang did.

Chanhee snapped his fingers. "Why don't we surprise her at her apartment today?"

"Is that a good idea?" Hyunjae asked. "What if she doesn't want to see us?"

Changmin shrugged. "There's only one way to find out."

Kevin and Jacob looked at one another, the same unsure expression on their face.

You watched your feet as you walked towards the entrance of your complex. You were almost to the doors when you were pushed back and into one of the rock columns, your shoulder blades digging into the jagged edges.

"I'm glad I caught you, Minji."

Jaesang's smile was grim. "How'd you find my address?"

"Did you forget that I'm a really good stalker?" He whispered. "Especially when it comes to you."

Your skin tingled where his hands held your shoulders against the jagged material. The tingling under your skin felt like rage bubbles about to burst - it made you want to get away from him.

You pushed him back, even more violently than in the field, and did it again when he got close. Your anger had bubbled over the edge and it was too late to fix the damage.

"You're such a sick psycho. Did your mother not raise you right? What kind of person kills an animal and burns down a business because they don't get what they want?" You were absolutely livid. "You can try for as long as you want, but you will never get what you want from me."

You went to back away, but he grabbed the collar of your jacket and pulled you in, too close for your comfort.

As soon as he did this, the boys were pulling in and they immediately saw him grab you. They parked wherever they could and started going towards the two of you.

At the same time, Hyunjoon was coming out of the lobby to see if you were at the complex.

"You broke my nose, you circus freak!" Jaesang screamed.

"You petrified me, Jaesang!"

He pushed you back, then grabbed your forearms and pulled you forward again, purposely aggressive so that your shoulder injury would flare up.

And it worked.

You teared up at the sudden, sharp pain, an instant reaction.

Hyunjoon and the boys both ran towards the two of you, pulling him away from you. Hyunjoon, Jacob, Sangyeon, Eric and Sunwoo were yelling at Jaesang, pushing him around.

The impact of them pushing him away made you stumble back and fall.

Younghoon, Haknyeon, Kevin and Juyeon ran to you and surrounded you to make sure you were okay.

While Chanhee, Changmin and Hyunjae joined the fight with Jaesang, you got up and held your shoulder, finally saying what you had been longing to say to his face:

"I hate you, Jaesang." Your voice broke, and you wanted to smack yourself for sounding weak. "I wish I never met you."

Everyone got quiet at your revelation, so you picked yourself up off of the ground and carried yourself inside. You might have been done, but Hyunjoon wasn't.

"If you ever lay a hand on my little sister again, I'm making sure you get sent to jail." He bit, that protective brother coming out. "I hope she calls the cops on you and tells them what you did, because you deserve to sit in there after everything you've done to her."

Jaesang didn't do anything but grin. "She's so cute when she's vulnerable and in pain."

This time, Sunwoo hit him, and hard. His nose was already broken, but now he would have a sweet black eye to go with it.

"People like you deserve to be reincarnated as a doormat." Sunwoo deadpanned. "You get what you give."

The boyz started heading into the lobby, but Jaesang called out to Jacob, "You're not gonna do anything in retaliation for your girlfriend?"

Jacob gave him a dirty look. "I already have."

"Oh, really?"

"I have what you'll never have," Jacob smiled innocently. "She actually likes me."

Jaesang's jaw clenched, but he didn't do anything. Instead, he huffed and walked away like a toddler throwing a tantrum.

In the penthouse, you were on the couch with your knees to your chest, lost in the patterns of the carpet. You didn't even hear the door open.

You did come back to reality when Jacob kneeled in front of you and tilted his head. "Do you want us here?"

You nodded, and he was a bit surprised, but glad to hear it. You wiped under your eyes and got up all of a sudden.

"Only Jacob and Hyunjoon know what Jaesang did, so I guess it's time I tell you guys now."

You told them the story, every single detail of it, and waited patiently for their reactions. When they didn't say anything for a few moments, you exhaled awkwardly.

"Maybe I overreact when it comes to him, but he scared me really bad in high school. I'm sorry that you guys got dragged into my business with him, and I'm sorry for not telling you guys sooner, but it shows a really weak side of me that I hate."

You were wringing your hands nervously as they looked at you, then Sangyeon grabbed them and stopped you.

"You don't have to say sorry for the way you act around the person who traumatized you as a kid. You don't have a single thing to be sorry about, Minji."

You bit your lip anxiously. You would be sorry for the next thing to come out of your mouth.

"I think I wanna go back home."

Everyone, even Hyunjoon, looked at you with wide eyes. Jacob absolutely broke at your statement, and he was on the verge of tears.

"Really?" Jacob whispered.

You didn't want to look at him. "If I keep feeling like this, yeah. If things get better, I'll stay. It's not that I want to leave, but I will if I keep having to look over my shoulder."

They understood where you were coming from, but they also didn't want that to be your only option.

You held your arms out, and they all did exactly what you wanted them to do. They went in for the group hug.

When they pulled away, you grabbed Jacob's hand. You took him to your room and sat on your bed with him. His eyes glossed over and his lip trembled very slightly. You cupped his cheeks and and kissed his nose.

"I don't want you to leave." He whispered.

"I don't want to, but I've been in such a bad place, Bae." You confessed. "And it's just me making it this way. I'm letting Jaesang get to my head, and I shouldn't have to take that out on you guys, but I feel very scared and empty. Until something is done about him, leaving will always be on my plate."

He nodded sadly. "I get that, but it's just really upsetting. You mean a lot to me, to all of us. I want to be able to do something for you. I don't want you to feel scared and empty, Minji. I want you to be able to come to me when you feel like this, because I'll help you to the best of my abilities."

"I know, it's just really hard for me to ask for help." You sighed and grabbed his hands. "I'm hoping I won't have to leave, okay? For now, let's just spend as much time together as we can, just in case."

So he brought you to his chest and laid down with you, letting you listen to his heartbeat. He rubbed your back as you wrapped your arms around his waist. The warm sun rays coming through your window made your room beautiful, and being with Jacob helped a lot.

"Just know that if you leave," he whispered. "I won't let you forget me."

You smiled against his chest. "I couldn't forget you, Jacob."
