"Where did you say you found her?" a red-head around 16 asked as she knelt down, placing her palms on the forehead of the unknown girl.

"Inside the chicken coop while I was collecting some eggs for breakfast" Mikey explained.

"Why was she there anyway?" Casey added as he leaned an arm with one of his hockey sticks.

"Who knows we just found her covered in a cloth" Raph grunted.

"Not to mention all these deep wounds she manage to obtained" Donnie added as he finished up patching the girl's wounds.

"I'm guessing something attacked her" Leo said softly.

"Well I can't seem to see what attacked her for some reason" April stood up and went to the kitchen to grab a cloth, upon returning all eyes were on her, waiting for her to continue.

"Meaning?" Raph urge.

"Meaning her mind is block either from being traumatize or memory loss" carefully dipping the cloth on some lukewarm water, she squeeze it tightly and started cleaning the girl's cuts.

The girl twitched at the sudden touch but relax when April took caution of her wounds.

"She's pretty banged up I wonder who did this to her" April muttered to herself worried about the girl and for their safety. Leo heard this and started observing the girl he just saved from either blood lost and trauma. He would notice the slight twitch the girl does whenever April pressed on an open wound. The injury she manage to acquire were too big and too deep for an animal attack so it must be some creature that might be affected by the mutagen. But what?

Leo became more and more worried as he stared at the girl. The more he looked at her, the more he would imagine the terrible being that hurted her.

"We have to know what attacked her" Leo finally said. Deciding that it was best to check what was happening deep in the forest.

"Oh~ someone's worried about his girlfriend" Mikey teased, his brothers and Casey chuckling seeing Leo's flushed expression.

"She's not my girlfriend! Besides! I don't even know who she is!" he defended. Avoiding from furthur embarrasment he walked towards the door and harshly opened it, almost ripping up the hinges.

"Now come on, we have to find what's out there"

His companions could only stare at his retreating figure. A knowing smile forming on their mouths.

"Totally in denial" Donnie commented, following behind his older brother.

"I know!" Mikey added.

Raph looked confused and shook his head in disagreement. "I don't even want to know" he followed suit.

"See anything guys?"

"Nope!"

"Not even one, there's not even a sign of a fight going on"

They all huff in annoyance, they've been at this for hours and yet nothing. No broken trees, no broken whatever. This really bothered the four brothers, this could only mean that another enemy is out there and that their lives are yet again endangered.

"Come on let's go back it's already getting late" Leo instructed, turning back to where they came from.

Upon arriving back, they saw Casey waving back at them in a frantic. The brothers quickly ran to where Casey was and asked what was happening.

"I-It's the girl! She's awake!" he said rather in a panic.

Hearing those words they all rushed inside the house and quickly stopped as the girl laughed her heart out with April. "I might've guess so myself" she said happily her light colored locks swaying together when laughing.

"Me too! Oh! Hey guys meet Alyssa!" April quickly took notice of the turtles arrival as she introduced the girl, she only waved and smiled at them.

"Hello" she mused her smile never leaving.

"How are you feeling? Are you feeling any discomfort?" Donnie asked in concern as he took her arm and lightly pushed a nerve.

"Not at all. I feel fine thank you for asking" not contented with her answer he check her vital parts, seeing that there was indeed no problem he became convinced and nodded.

"Where did you came from?" it was Casey's turn to asked. She only stared at him in confusion, you can visibly see a question mark floating around her.

"Here let me try, what attacked you?" Leo asked, squatting so that he was eye level with Alyssa.

She stared at him in wonder not the fact that he was a mutant, no it was because of his eyes, it fascinated her in which she never felt in a long time. She smiled widely, happy that she could once again see those eyes again.

"Kyuki!" she chirped, like a child would answer a stranger.

"What's that?" wondered Mikey out loud he turned to Donnie for some help but even Mr. Know-it-all knew nothing of the word.

Again Alyssa titled her head to the side not because of puzzlement but the fact that they didn't knew what a kyuki was.

"You haven't heard what a kyuki is?" she thought sadly. They really are in danger.

"I'm sorry no but if you tell us then we might help" April said calmly but she was pretty sure that she was being sarcastic towards her.

She remained silent for a while, thinking on the right words to say. "Well ..." she began.

"There is this creature who has this ability to form any being it wants. Either it would be a cat, dog or even birds, it creates its own flocks to fool people in thinking that it was scary." she explained, smiling slightly.

"That sounds more like a scary story than being realistic" commented Casey, rolling his eyes at her. Donnie elbowed him harshly his eyes narrowing.

"What?! It's true besides for all we know its just a mutant dog or something" complained Casey.

"True, Alyssa what does it look like anyway?" questioned the red-head teenager beside her.

"There isn't a clear image of them but from what I saw from the past nights they were like smoke but darker" she sounded unsure but her face shows how much fear she had with her opponents.

"Smoke? That's unusual" murmured Donnie, imagining what the creature was.

"If so then how many attacked you?" they again questioned.

Her eyes shook in denial, not wanting to yet again face those beings, the way how their fangs nearly ripped off her arm. "Seven, that was all I could count"

No one said anything. They thought this place was safe, safe from danger but no ... What is this creature that this girl is so afriad of? They wanted to asked her further but they saw how disturbed and terrified the girl was.

"How about taking it easy for a bit Alyssa? You can stay at my room for awhile if you want" April offered, pulling her slightly as to guide her upstairs.

Alyssa flinched slightly, not wanting to leave the place she was on. She was safe here, she thought and she liked it. She didn't say anything but just shook her head, indicating that she was at best in this couch she was staying. They looked uncertain but just went with it.

Hours past and Alyssa manage to doze off in a deep slumber. The brothers took turns in watching her and even took the time to clean up her wounds again.

The one who looked after her now was Leo. The eldest stared at the girl in wonder, what was she doing here? How did she even manage to find this place? These were the questions that kept on swirling inside his head. The thought of danger made his stomach twist. He looked at his injured knee and scowl at it, how he wished his knee wasn't injured then he could still protect his family.

He saw the girl twitched, she had a terrified expression and she was murmuring something ... Something Leo wasn't ready to hear.

"They're here"

On cue, a gust of wind blew hard on the house, Leo felt the force moving the premises but what even shocked him was the smoke, dark purplish smoke entering the house. His brother rushed inside and saw the whole thing, they were frozen in their places not knowing what to do.

"What is this!" yelled Raph, grunting as the smoke rose up to their waist.

Mikey tried to blow on the smoke attempting to blow it away but it only got thicker and thicker. This annoyed him and he started spinning his nunchucks like fans to get rid of it, yelling a battle cry to help him boost his power. Donnie also tried to spin his staff but to no avail.

"Uh guys?" coming from outside, they saw both Casey and April backing away from the front porch, the brothers didn't see anything but then saw eyes, red eyes glowing, appearing on the thick dark purplish smoke.

"Now what?"

Feeling the smoke nearing them, they backed up to where Alyssa rest, protecting her from the nearing smoke. Alyssa opened her eyes quickly, sitting up straight, staring at the creature that she knew all about. She clicked her tongue and stashed back her sword, preparing herself to attack. Taking a deep breathe she counted down slowly.

The turtles and their allies tried to fight their way but wasn't even close on touching the creature.

They wanted to run but couldn't something was holding on to them.

Mikey let out a shriek making Raph scrawl at him, wanting to slap him across the room. Leo wanted to scold them but stopped as a blurry figure went past him, it was so fast that all he could see was a combination of brown and mocha.

He turned to follow the fast moving object and his eyes widen in shock. What he saw was unexpected. There stood a teenage girl her hair swaying together with the movements she did. She easily brought her weapon to her side changing its position on her other hand then bringing it up for a final slash.

The creature roared in pain and retreated, scared at the damage the sword had done. All of them stared in awe as she flicked her sword removing the smudge residing on it. She sigh, calming herself from the sudden reflex she did.

She looked up to the shock teenagers and felt herself getting embarassed with all the staring.

"I-Is something the matter?" she stammered.

Silence. She awkwardly rocked her heels back and fort, fumbling with her fingers as if it was the most interesting thing at that time.

"THAT. WAS. AWESOME!" it was Mikey who broke the silence and excitedly ran up to her, shaking her hands in a congratulatory manner.

His brothers snapped out of the trance and followed their brother. "I have to admit I was pretty shock when she did that thing with her sword" Raph smirked, setting himself beside Mikey.

"Yeah we never should've guess that you were able to do it" Donnie added.

"Where did you even learn that?" Leo was still shock, recognizing the moves she did.

Alyssa smiled knowingly, she opened her mouth to answer him but stopped right away feeling the same presence as before. Her eyes were dots realizing that the thing was still alive and is lingering near the farm house.

So she ran, leaving a dumbfounded teenagers behind. Shouting her name to come back with them.
