filming

When the end of the day came I didn't know what to do. I usually hang out with all my friends after school and my mom is going to get suspicious because it'll be the third day in a row I come home straight after school. She's going to give me all these questions to answer and I don't think I'd know how answer all of them while lying.

Jeonghan walked up to my desk at the end of the day and I was a bit surprised he approached me first. "Whats up?" I ask in a smile to make it look like nothing was wrong

"Did you make things up with your friends, are you all okay now?" He questions, sounding very concerned in his tone of voice.

"Um...yeah we made up" I say in a bigger smile then before but he looked at me like he didn't believe me.

"If you made up with them why aren't you with them right now?" He questions...he knows me too well to know I always go out with them after school.

"No reason I just told them at lunch today that I won't be hanging out with them as much because I explained to them the girl they saw me with yesterday was my girlfriend." I explain, it was the only convincing lie I could think of on the spot.

"Well...if you say so" Jeonghan hesitantly says, looking at me like he was still questioning if I was lying or not. "I'm going to go straight home and finish some of our project. We have to make a video for it as well, when do you think we should make that?" He continues to ask.

"Why don't you come to my house again, I have a camera and we could use that to take the video. I'll edit it on my computer after we're done shooting all the scenes." I suggest and Jeonghan hesitantly nodded meaning sure. "What, what's with that look on your face?"

"It's nothing...won't your parents just think I'm a bother if I go there too much?"

"If anything my mom would be glad I'm bringing more friends home" I answer while patting Jeonghan's shoulder. After patting his shoulder I leaned close to Jeonghan's ear so only he could hear "and maybe we could do something else after we're done filming the video?"

Jeonghan blushed a light pink and turned his head away from my direction. He gripped the straps on his backpack tighter and manages to say "I'll wait for you outside the school" before turning around and scurrying outside of the classroom.

I chuckled watching Jeonghan scurry away and looked back down at my desk, arranging my notebooks to put into my backpack.

Once I put everything inside my backpack I took a glance up at Hansol's desk and everyone was standing around him, laughing and talking to one another. I would be there right now if we weren't in a fight, if I didn't mess things up. I sighed to myself before standing up from my desk, swinging my backpack over one shoulder and leaving the classroom.

While walking down the hallway the whole fight with all my friends couldn't leave my head, on top of that I have to worry about all the questions my mom was going to be giving me for coming straight home three days in a row since I skipped school yesterday and got home early then as well.

When I left the school I saw Jeonghan was standing at the end of the gate with his head down like he was trying to hide his face from everyone who might be looking at him. I walked up to him and slapped his back a bit roughly.

He leaned forward when I slapped his back but quickly looked up to see it was me. "That hurt" he says in a faint tone, bringing one hand up and trying to rub the part of his back where I slapped.

"Sorry babe, let's go to my place and decide what we're going to do from there." I say in a smile already walking past him to walk in the direction to my house.

Jeonghan followed behind me, I could tell he was embarrassed that I called him babe because he kept looking down like he was trying to hide his face.

When Jeonghan and I both got to my house like I expected my mom gave me a confused look on her face, like she was wondering why I was home. "Joshua..." she starts off with saying, but I didn't let her talk to me. I quickly took off my shoes and bolted up the stairs, motioning my hand forward when I reached the top of the stairs to imply for Jeonghan to do the same.

When Jeonghan and I were safe in my bedroom, I laid on my back onto my bed and just stared at the ceiling. Jeonghan walked in after me and sat down beside where I was lying down. "You okay, it looked like you were trying to avoid your mom?"

"Not really, I just don't uh...feel like talking to her today." I admit in a little smirk, groaning as I brought myself to sit up next to Jeonghan. "I'll get my camera and then let's decide what we're going to do from there."

Jeonghan nodded and I got up, walking to my desk and grabbing my camera which was in the it's case and bringing it back to my bed. "So what should we put in the video, we're doing our topic on homosexuality, right?"

Jeonghan looked down and chewed on his bottom lip like he didn't know what to do either. "I don't know, it's a pretty sensitive topic so I don't know what we should do in the video..."

I thought about it and ask "why don't we make ourselves the two main roles in the video, we'd be the gay couple. We could do those experiment things where we walk around Seoul or somewhere holding hands to get peoples reactions on homosexuality. That'd be cool, we can make a story out of it as well."

Jeonghan looked at me surprised for thinking of an idea on the spot and smirked. "That sounds cool...but if we pretend to be a couple in the video...and we kiss and stuff, don't you think that will get people suspicious. People already think I'm gay and I have rumours about me already so I don't care, but what about you. No one thinks you're gay and you're friends with the most popular group in the school." Jeonghan questions, looking at me concerned.

"You worry way too much Jeonghan, I'll just say it was for the video and I'm not really gay. You put too much thought into things." I say in a chuckle, rubbing Jeonghan's hair to play with him.

Jeonghan smiled and fixed his hair when I brought my hand away from his head. "Are we going to start filming right now?"

"I guess, we can make a scene where we're in the bedroom and we're talking about things, let's do that." I answer, taking the camera out and turning it on.

Jeonghan and I were filming for a couple of hours because we didn't know what we were suppose to directly say.

After filming Jeonghan had to go home before it got dark because he was still in trouble for skipping school yesterday. When Jeonghan left, it was like my mom pressed a button because her voice rang from downstairs as she called me. "Joshua, could you come down here for a moment?"

I groaned to myself lightly, knowing what was coming for me now. I got up from sitting on my bed and walked downstairs where my mom was. She was in the kitchen still making dinner. Dinner was on the stove but she was sitting down at the little table inside our kitchen in a seat. "Sit" she says once she saw me enter the room, pointing to the chair which was across the table.

I sat down on the chair she pointed to and she looked at me with a serious expression on her face. "Is everything okay with you and Hansol?" She questions, looking at me concerned.

Next chapter you might not see the conversation Joshua has with his mom because I might switch it to Jeonghan's perspective so you finally see what Jeonghan's home life is like. If you can't tell I've been kind of avoiding it up until now. Thank you guys for reading, it means a lot.
