Chapter Eighteen: Moon Over Bourbon Street

Nobody's Pov

Before they could move onto the next episode Gertrude decided to give everyone a ten minute break.

And majority of them had gotten up from their seats and rushed to the bathroom.

While a few others had just gotten up from their seats and stretched their legs.

Gertrude used her magic to conquer a snack table since she knew how hungry they were all getting, especially with how long they were in the theater.

Not only that but she also conquered a mini bar as she knew that some would care for a drink or two.

Something that she was right to do because the first ones up and making their way to the bar were Kinn, Porsche and Vegas.

Go figure.

Ken sighed before making his way towards the bar as well.

He needed a glass of tequila, or three, now that his best friend is in a relationship with the hybrid.

While he wants Big to be happy, that's all that matters to him, he doesn't understand why his best friend would pick Klaus.

There are tons of other men out there for him to choose.

And yet he still chose the dangerous hybrid.

That's going to take some time to get used to.

When everyone was finished with what they were doing they all returned to their seats.

Once everyone was settled Gertrude played the next episode.

The screen turns on and we head to the park where we see a few people painting.

The camera pans over to Klaus who was among those people as he painted in front of the fountain.

All of a sudden two arms wrap around his waist from behind causing Klaus to smile, already knowing who it was.

"Where have you been, love?" Klaus asked.

The camera pans to the person that pulls back from the hybrid and we see Holden, who was hugging Klaus from behind, with a smile on his face.

Everyone blinked, wondering if what they were seeing was real or not.

With the exception of Tankhun and Tay who had smiles on their faces at the scene they were seeing.

It took everyone else a few seconds to remember what had happened in the previous episode.

"Oh, right. They're together" Ken muttered.

He was still very unsure of how to feel about his best friend being in a relationship with the original hybrid.

Yes, he knew that his best friend had feelings for the hybrid and wanted to be with him.

Hell, they literally had sex in the previous episode after making it official.

But he still doesn't trust Klaus, let alone like him, and he's not sure if he's the right fit for his best friend.

Ken yelped in surprise when someone smacked him upside the head, hard.

He looked up and gulped at the sight of Tankhun glaring at him.

"Your best friend is happy and that's all that should matter, so shut up" Tankhun scowled.

Without saying anything else he turned his attention back to the screen.

Ken just stared at him with wide eyes, clearly surprised.

Ken then turned to glare at his friends that were currently laughing at him.

He glared harder at Porsche since he was the one laughing the most.

"At the market getting some snacks. Don't you remember what today is?" Holden asked.

Klaus looked confused but that went away within seconds as realization washed through him.

"Ah, right. We've scheduled a movie date tonight" Klaus nodded.

"Exactly. So, hurry up with your painting so we can head home and get everything set up" Holden ordered.

"Yes, sir" Klaus smirked.

Holden chuckled in amusement before going back to hugging his boyfriend. Klaus smiled and kissed Holden's cheek before going back to his painting.

Tankhun and Tay squealed, the interaction between Big and Klaus was adorable.

Well, they always were even before becoming a couple.

But now that they are a couple their interactions were even more adorable.

The scene changes to late at night and the camera pans inside the compound.

We head into Klaus and Holden's room where we see the two of them sitting on the couch.

Holden was lying on his back with his legs thrown over Klaus's lap as he ate popcorn while watching the movie that was on the T.V. Klaus was sitting on the couch, an arm draped over Holden's legs, as he watched the movie.

Everyone had to admit that they definitely weren't expecting to see what they were seeing.

They know Big mentioned him and Klaus having a movie date but they didn't think it was actually going to happen.

They didn't think Klaus was that type of person.

But seeing him, along with Big, the way he is now made them change their minds.

"Man, I wish I had my phone to capture this moment" Tankhun sighed.

"Me too" Tay nodded, sighing himself.

Especially when the couple looked so relax and happy.

"They say the passage of time will heal all wounds. But, the greater the loss, the deeper the cut, and the more difficult the process to become whole again. The pain may fade, but scars serve as a reminder of our suffering, and make the bearer all the more resolved never to be wounded again. So, as time moves along, we get lost in distractions. Act out in frustration. React with aggression. Give in to anger. And, all the while, we plot and plan as we wait to grow stronger, and before we know it, the time passes. We are healed. Ready to begin anew" Klaus explained.

Holden chuckled and tore his eyes away from the T.V to look at Klaus.

"Spoken like a man who's made peace with his demons" Holden said.

"My demons are dead, or chased off" Klaus shrugged.

"Why does that sound accurate?" Macau muttered.

Footsteps are heard which made the couple turn around to see Elijah walking in.

"Yes, apart from the one lingering monster with whom you've decided to become friends with" Elijah said.

Holden raised an eyebrow at that while Klaus grumbled in annoyance.

"Who is he talking about, Nik?" Holden asked, propping himself up on his elbows.

Klaus opened his mouth to say something but Elijah beat him to it.

"Genevieve" Elijah said.

Holden's eyes widened at that and he looked at his boyfriend in disbelief while Klaus sighed.

"Wait isn't that one of the witches that helped kidnap Klaus and Rebekah?" Pete asked.

"Yes. She's also the one that revealed what Rebekah had done to Klaus. She's the reason he wanted to kill her in the first place" Gertrude explained.

Everyone's eyes widened at that and they glanced at one another.

Why would Klaus become friends with that woman?

"Genevieve isn't my friend, Elijah. She's a mere ally" Klaus shrugged.

"Does that matter?" Holden asked, sitting up from the couch.

"I agree with Holden. That woman tortured our sister" Elijah said.

"She also revealed the truth about our sister's treachery" Klaus shot back.

"Why would she do that? I get that she hates Rebekah but don't all the witches hate the Mikaelson's?" Chay asked.

"And why does it look like she seems to like Klaus more than his siblings?" Macau asked.

They didn't know how to feel about Genevieve, none of them do, and decided to just keep an eye on her.

"And as a consequence, Rebekah is gone forever" Elijah told him.

"A desire which she apparently harbored for quite some time!" Klaus yelled, standing up from the couch.

"Niklaus, it has been a month. Now, I feel our sister's loss as deeply as you. But, you must stop distracting yourself with this behavior and channel it into some kind of action" Elijah sternly said.

Klaus scoffed and asked, "why must I, exactly?".

"Last I checked you were the one that wanted to be king. Now that you are you're the one that sits on the throne meaning you have to start taking responsibility" Vegas rolled his eyes.

He knew that when you're the boss of something you are the one that has to deal with all the work, all the responsibilities.

He knew that, along with Kinn, since he was the head of the major family.

And Klaus is now the king of New Orleans, he is the one that sits on the throne, which means he has to deal with all the work and responsibilities.

After all, it's what he wanted in the first place.

He shouldn't be complaining now.

"Because over the course of Marcel's tenure, the city grew accustomed to having a king. You wanted this throne. Now, you must accept the responsibility that accompanies that" Elijah explained.

Klaus shrugged, "apologies, but I'm rather ensconced in other pursuits".

He looked at Holden and flashed him a smirk causing the werewolf male to blush and look down at his lap.

"It's weird to see Big blushing. He never blushes" Pol said, looking at Arm.

"I know. It's like he's a different person" Arm nodded.

"If you can so easily neglect your home, I wonder what will become of your daughter. Have you forgotten what it was like to live beneath the threat of violence?" Elijah asked.

Klaus pressed his lips tightly at that. Holden looked up with a frown on his face.

Holden wanted New Orleans to be a safe place for not only him and his sister but for his niece. The last thing he wanted was for his niece to grow up in a dangerous environment.

Everyone couldn't help but agree with Elijah and Holden.

They have to make New Orleans safe for not just the supernatural beings that live there, but for the baby.

They didn't want the baby to grow up in an environment where there's war going on, they didn't want the baby witnessing or experiencing any of that.

"We must work together, Niklaus. Let's make this city whole again" Elijah said.

Klaus looked at his brother and remained silent for a few seconds before speaking.

"Perhaps it is too broken to mend" Klaus softly said.

Elijah looked at his brother in disbelief while Klaus shrugged and sat back down on the couch.

"Is that all he has to say?" Jom asked in disbelief.

"Isn't he at least going to try? If not for him at least for Holden and his daughter?" Tem asked.

"If you won't do anything, I will" Elijah declared.

He turned around and walked out of the room leaving Klaus and Holden alone.

Klaus sighed and laid down on the couch with his head resting on Holden's lap. Holden looked down at him with a small smile and leaned down to kiss his forehead.

Tankhun and Tay couldn't stop themselves from smiling at that.

The scene changes to the next day and the camera pans to the bayou where we see everyone gathered around as they watched two werewolves fight each other while shirtless.

Turns out the thing Sabine/Celeste made for the wolves to turn back human had actually worked. Meaning they were free of the curse and they were overjoyed.

Everyone in the theater couldn't help but smile at that.

They were happy that the wolves were free of the curse and no longer had to worry about changing into their wolf forms.

And they were happy that now that they are free Big and Hayley would get the chance to know them.

The camera pans over to Hayley and Holden who were standing next to each other as they watched the fight.

Jackson and Jonah walked towards them causing the Marshall siblings to look at them.

"Shouldn't one of you be out there playing fight club with the rest of the frat boys?" Hayley asked, looking at the Kenner brothers.

"Nah. That's just for pecking order. They already know who's the Alpha" Jackson smiled.

"Cocky much" Holden and Jonah said in unison.

This made them glance at each other with smiles before laughing while Hayley giggled and Jackson playfully rolled his eyes.

Everyone laughed at that while Tankhun had a small frown on his face.

He nearly forgot about the Kenner brothers but seeing them again made him remember everything that happened in a previous episode.

He had to admit he was a little worried but decided not to think too much into it.

At least for now.

Jackson and Hayley walked away while Jonah and Holden followed behind them.

"What about you?" Holden asked, turning to Jonah.

"Nope. I might not be their alpha but even I know that what they do is more childish than fun" Jonah said.

"You're not their alpha? I thought you were" Holden frowned.

"No, I'm not. Jackson and I are brothers but since he's the oldest the alpha title was passed down to him while I'm more like second in command" Jonah explained.

"That makes sense" Kinn hummed.

"But why set up Holden and Jonah in an arranged marriage if they're the youngest?" Tankhun quietly asked.

It just didn't make sense to him.

What exactly were their parents trying to do?

Holden hummed at that as the two of them continued walking, following their respective siblings.

The scene changes to the inside of the cabin where we see some other crescent wolves setting up the table for dinner.

Hayley and Holden were lighting up some candles while Jackson and Jonah were setting down some plates.

"You two have got to try tucker's ribs" Jackson said.

"Then, what? Then we're gonna go play horseshoes?" Hayley sarcastically asked.

Holden snorted at that while Jonah chuckled as he set a plate down.

Everyone couldn't help but laugh at Hayley's words.

They had to admit that she was funny when she was sarcastic.

"Hey! Don't mock country living, darling" Jackson laughed.

"Sorry. This is just alot more family fun than we're used to" Holden said.

"Well, maybe we can help you two get used to it" Jonah smiled, placing his hand on Holden's shoulder.

Holden looked at him with a smile while nodding his head.

Everyone smiled with the exception of Tankhun who was frowning.

He could tell how close Holden was beginning to get with Jonah and he was worried about what that would do to his relationship with Klaus.

All of a sudden someone joins them and that person is Oliver. The same guy that was dancing with Rebekah and a close friend of the Kenner brothers.

"Then all we got to do is just forget that they spent half their lives with humans, and the other half with vampires" Oliver said.

He then pointed at Holden, "lets not forget that this one is still living with vampires and, oh, is sleeping with the hybrid".

Holden glared at him along with Hayley who put her hand on her brothers shoulder protectively.

Everyone immediately glared at Oliver for the things that he said towards the Marshall siblings.

"I know he did not just say that" Kim said, pressing his lips together.

"Who the hell does he think he is?" Ken asked, scowling.

Who the hell was that asshole and who the hell does he think he is for insulting his best friend like that?

Oh how he wishes he was there so he could shove his fist into his face.

Jonah glared at Oliver while Jackson sighed and sent his friend a pointed look.

"Ollie, back off" Jackson warned.

"It's ok. If the runt of the litter has got something to say, he should say it" Hayley scowled.

"And for the record, my relationship with Nik is none of your business so stay out of it you asshole" Holden scowled.

"That's right, bud. Don't take his, or anyone else's, shit" Chan smirked.

"Exactly" Ken nodded with a smirk of his own.

Oliver glared at the two of them before looking at Hayley.

"You know, word from the Quarter is your boy Elijah's holding some kind of power summit. Guess who wasn't invited?" Oliver asked.

Hayley's eyes widen at that while Holden raised an eyebrow at what he heard.

He knew that since Klaus didn't want to take responsibility Elijah was going to be the one to take charge but he didn't know that Elijah had set up a meeting for all the supernatural beings.

And he sure as hell didn't know that he excluded the werewolves.

Everyone glanced at each other in confusion before looking at Gertrude for confirmation.

Gertrude just nodded at them and that was enough for them to turn their attention back to the screen.

"Where did you hear this?" Hayley asked.

"It doesn't matter. The point is is that we're stuck here living in the swamp, while your vampire boyfriend's deciding who gets what in the city. But, I guess that shows how much respect he's got for the werewolves, huh?" Oliver asked.

He grabbed a piece of meat and ate it before turning around and walking away.

When he was gone Hayley looked at her brother who looked at her.

"Did you know about this?" Hayley asked.

"I only knew that Elijah was taking charge since Nik doesn't want to. He didn't mention any sort of meeting" Holden told her.

Hayley frowned and nodded before walking away, clearly upset.

"I don't blame her, I would be too if my people was being left out of something important" Kinn nodded.

If Elijah wants New Orleans to be safe, if he wants everyone to be at peace with each other, he has to include all the supernatural beings.

Excluding the werewolves would just bring trouble.

The scene changes to the compound and we see that night has fallen.

The camera pans into Klaus's bedroom where we see him painting while only wearing a black shirt and black boxers.

The camera pans behind him where we see Holden walking towards him wearing nothing but a black silk robe and if you look closely you can see hickeys on his neck.

Everyone's eyes widened at what they were seeing and quickly looked away, blush covering some of their faces.

Ken sighed and looked down at his hands, exasperation coursing through him.

Meanwhile, Tankhun and Tay were smirking and were hoping that they'd be able to see a bit more.

"Nik" Holden called out to him.

"Yes, love?" Klaus asked, still continuing with his painting.

"Did you hear about what happened during the meeting Elijah hosted?" Holden asked, walking closer to his boyfriend.

"You mean where Hayley interrupted it because she was angry at the fact that the wolves were excluded?" Klaus asked.

"Bingo" Holden nodded.

Klaus chuckled and continued with his painting while Holden wrapped his arms around his waist and rested his head on his shoulder.

"I assume that means the crescent curse is broken" Klaus said.

"You would be correct" Holden nodded.

Klaus halted his movements and hummed as he felt Holden's arms trail over his body as he kissed at his neck and shoulder.

"Oh don't tell me we're going to see another sex scene" Pol groaned.

He was happy that Big was in a relationship with someone that he really liked, even if it was Klaus, but he would rather not see what those two do in the bedroom.

And he's pretty sure nobody else in the theater wants to see that.

Holden placed a few more kisses to Klaus's neck before positioning his lips to his ear.

"Nik, turn around and give me attention. Your painting can wait" Holden whispered.

Almost immediately Klaus tossed his paintbrush aside and turned around so that he was facing Holden.

Klaus gripped his thighs and lifted him up causing Holden to grin in delight as he wrapped his legs around the waist of his boyfriend while wrapping his arms around his boyfriends neck.

Klaus sped over to his bed and tossed Holden onto it and quickly crawled on top of him.

The two of them quickly smashed their lips together while wrapping their arms around each other, their hands roaming every inch of their bodies.

Klaus removed his lips from Holden's and moved down to his neck and began kissing and sucking to which Holden moaned in pleasure while throwing his head back.

Everyone in the theater blushed at the scene they were watching and were quick to look away.

Porsche and Kim quickly covered Chay's eyes and ears. Vegas and Pete did the same with Macau.

Ken grumbled in annoyance and rubbed his forehead, feeling a headache coming on, to which Chan patted his back while avoiding looking at the screen.

None of them really wanted to watch this.

Well, except for maybe Tankhun and Tay.

Just as Klaus began to kiss down Holden's body, slowly sliding his robe off, another voice could be heard in the room.

"I saw the light from the courtyard and took a chance that...OH MY GOD!" someone screamed.

Klaus and Holden pulled away from each other and quickly turned around to see Cami in the room with her hand covering her eyes.

Almost immediately everyone in the theater sighed in relief at Cami's arrival.

They were happy that she was there so they didn't have to watch another sex scene between Klaus and Big.

The only ones that were upset with her arrival were Tankhun and Tay.

"She couldn't have waited until the next day?" Tankhun muttered, crossing his arms over his chest.

Why did that blondie have to come and interrupt his favorite ship?

"Oh god, I'm so sorry. I thought you guys were asleep" Cami said.

"Trust me, Camille, we weren't planning on sleeping" Klaus sighed, annoyed.

"Damn right we weren't" Holden muttered.

"Oh thank god we don't have to see that" Ken muttered in relief.

He, nor anyone else, had the intention to watch what he and his hybrid boyfriend do behind closed doors.

Klaus sighed again and placed a kiss to Holden's forehead before getting off of him. Holden sighed and sat up on the bed as he pulled his robe up and tied it.

The two of them looked at Cami and saw she still had her eyes covered.

"You can look, Cami" Holden told her.

Cami slowly removed her hand from her eyes and when she saw that the couple weren't in their intimate position from earlier she sighed in relief.

"Same, girl. Same" Pol muttered.

Arm, having heard him, chuckled in amusement.

"So, care to tell us why you're here?" Klaus asked, crossing his arms over his chest.

"I heard from Elijah that you've become friends with Genevieve. You know the same woman that tried to blackmail me into stabbing you with the mystical knife of excruciating pain" Cami said.

Holden raised an eyebrow at that and looked at Klaus who rolled his eyes.

"Like I told Elijah, Genevieve and I aren't friends we're merely allies. And something tells me you're here to talk to me about something else" Klaus said.

"You're right. I'm here about my uncle. He's deteriorating. The pills, the meditation, they're not working. His lucidity's shrinking by the day" Cami explained.

Holden frowned at that, looking worried, while Klaus sighed and ran a hand through his hair.

"Wait, what is she talking about?" Porsche asked, confused.

"The witches hexed Cami's uncle, who happens to be Father Kieran, and they said that they would cure him if she stabbed Klaus with papa Tunde's blade. Cami rejected their offer and because of that they aren't going to cure him. Meaning he's going to die" Gertrude explained.

Everyone's eyes widened at that, shock coursing through their bodies.

They couldn't believe that those witches went after Father Kieran just to get to Klaus.

And while they were happy that Cami hadn't done what they wanted, her uncle was going to lose his life.

And they aren't sure if he will live or not.

"A witch did this, a witch can undo it. Since you're, somewhat, on good terms with Genevieve maybe you could persuade her to help" Cami suggested.

Klaus sighed, "it won't do any good. These hexes, they start with magic, but as they take root, they alter the very chemistry of the brain".

"Seriously?" Holden asked, shocked.

Klaus looked at him and nodded before looking back at Cami.

"I'm sorry, Cami. The damage is done" Klaus softly said.

Cami felt tears welling up in her eyes and she furiously shook her head.

"I refuse to accept that, and you would, too, if you had any concept of family" Cami scowled.

She looked at Holden and waved goodbye before turning around and leaving.

Klaus watched her leave with guilt in his eyes while Holden had a sad frown plastered on his face.

"Poor girl" Porsche muttered.

While he didn't have a good relationship with his uncle, considering he was just a piece of shit, he could tell how much Cami loved her uncle.

The fact that he was dying and there might not be a way to save him definitely hurts her.

Especially when it's clear she doesn't want to lose him.

The scene changes to the next day and we head into Klaus and Holden's bedroom.

We see Klaus walking inside as he was out on the balcony looking at the city. He stops in front of his art supplies and looks around.

He grabs a paintbrush and turns in order to return to his artwork. But he finds Elijah standing in front of his painting.

"Not a fan of cerulean blue?" Klaus asked, showing him the small bottle of blue paint in his hand.

"Not a fan of your continued indifference" Elijah told him.

"Well, it's difficult trying to unite a community that has a history of mutual loathing" Klaus said.

"Spare me the platitudes, Niklaus" Elijah rolled his eyes.

Klaus shrugged as he put his paintbrush and bottle of paint down.

"A perspective, then? If you want peace, you must begin with the werewolves. A hundred years ago, they had a run at ruling this city. As of late, all they've had is time to watch their enemies tear down that legacy" Klaus explained.

"Yeah that is true. Remember in one of the previous episodes it was mentioned that New Orleans was the werewolves home. But their home was taken away from them by the vampires and ruled by Marcel" Pete explained.

"And Marcel is the reason they were cursed for years" Vegas added.

"It's clear they still hold a grudge against the vampires and the witches, no way they are going to want peace" Porsche finished.

He didn't really blame the werewolves for not wanting peace with the vampires of witches.

If he was in their position he would rather go against them than side with them.

Especially if he had to endure the hell they did because of the curse.

"Speaking of werewolves, where is Holden?" Elijah asked, looking around for the Marshall male.

"He went out to the bayou to visit Hayley and the Kenner brothers" Klaus told him.

Elijah nodded before returning to their previous conversation.

"All the more reason why their enemies are reluctant to bring them to the table" Elijah told his brother.

"Take a page from Bienville, brother. If the table's the obstacle, remove it" Klaus said, placing a hand on his shoulder.

He pats his shoulder before walking towards his mini bar as he begins to open up a bottle.

"Do you recall in 1720, the Governor's desperation to secure our help to build the cities first levees? We sat with him, and refused his offer, and so, he plied us with wine, with corseted women, and with raucous camaraderie until he had his yes" Klaus explained.

To say everyone was confused would be an understatement.

They had no idea what Klaus was talking about or what he was trying to suggest to his brother.

Except for Vegas and Kinn.

It took a while but they put two and two together and their eyes widened in realization.

They glanced at each other and faintly grinned, already knowing what Klaus's suggestion was.

He poured the two of them a drink and turned as he handed a glass to his brother.

Elijah took the glass from him and a smile began forming on his face.

"Are you suggesting that I throw a party?" Elijah asked.

Klaus simply grins before taking a sip of his drink which makes Elijah do the same.

Everyone blinked as the realization dawned on them.

"Why the hell didn't he just say that?" Ken asked, a little annoyed.

"Yeah, that would've been easier for us to understand" Pol muttered.

Everyone voiced out their agreements while Vegas and Kinn just laughed in amusement.

They had to admit that throwing a party and inviting the vampires, the witches and the werewolves to have fun was a good idea.

They can relax, have fun, dance and drink and really get to know one another.

But they had to admit that they were a little worried that something might go wrong.

They just hope that it all goes smoothly.

The scene changes to late at night and we head into the compound where we see that Elijah has thrown an impromptu party where all the factions have come together to celebrate and to just have fun.

Genevieve enters with Davina, Abigail and Monique in tow. The camera pans over to Diego and some other vampires that are drinking together.

The camera pans over to the entrance where we see Jackson, Jonah, Oliver and other werewolves entering the party.

Everyone's eyes widened at the party, the decorations looked so cool and everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves.

"Wow" Porsche breathed out.

"That looks like fun" Pete said, a smile forming on his face.

"Man, I wish the parties we had to attend were like that" Vegas huffed, crossing his arms over his chest.

The parties he and Kinn had to attend were business parties and they were boring as hell.

He only managed to get through them because of alcohol and trying to find someone to have fun with.

Kinn shot Vegas a glare but he had to admit that he agreed with him.

He knew that the business parties he attended were important but it really wouldn't have killed the hosts to make them fun.

The camera pans up to the balcony where we see Elijah and Klaus, dressed in suits, with glasses of champagne in their hands.

"I'm impressed, brother" Klaus complimented.

"Yes. Now if I can just keep them from tearing one another to shreds" Elijah said.

"Well, then for your sake, here's to a spectacularly boring evening" Klaus said.

The brothers smile at each other before clicking their glasses together and taking a sip of their champagne.

The scene changes to the entrance where we see Hayley and Holden walking in.

Hayley is wearing a nice long dress while Holden is wearing a black tuxedo with his hair tied in a man bun.

A few whistles were heard as the Marshall siblings made their appearance at the party.

They had to admit that they were rocking their outfits.

Kinn hummed in appreciation at Big's outfit, he had to admit that his former bodyguard did look good.

Not as good as Porsche, the love of his life, but he was good enough for second place.

"Have to admit, Elijah did a good job" Holden said as he looks around the place.

"Yes he did" Hayley nodded with a small smile.

"Well, I'm gonna go find Nik. Will you be alright?" Holden asked.

"I'll be find, Hol. I promise. Go find Klaus and have a good time tonight" Hayley smiled.

Holden smiled and kissed her forehead before walking away in order to find his hybrid boyfriend.

When he can't find him in the crowd he decides to head upstairs thinking that he was in his room or on the balcony.

Holden smiles when he finds Klaus on the balcony overlooking the party.

However, his smile fades when he sees Genevieve talking to Klaus and he could see how close she was to him.

"Uh oh, looks like someone is jealous of a certain redheaded witch" Tem smirked, amused.

"Not gonna lie she is pretty cute" Jom muttered.

"Dude, don't forget that she tortured Rebekah and is the reason she left" Porsche told his friend.

"And lets not forget that she seems to have feelings for Klaus. Which isn't good" Tankhun frowned.

"Agreed" Tay nodded.

They could tell that the witch fancied Klaus just by how she was looking at him, like she wanted him to undress her.

They knew she was bad news because of what she did but now it was worse because of her feelings for Klaus.

And they were just hoping that she wouldn't do anything to ruin Holden and Klaus's relationship.

Because they would throw hands if she did.

When Klaus sees Holden a smile appears on his face. He looks at Genevieve and excuses himself before walks over to his boyfriend.

"Love, I'm so happy you're here. I was beginning to worry" Klaus said.

"I promised I would" Holden said.

When he was near Klaus wrapped his arms around him and leaned down to kiss him softly on the lips.

Holden smiles at him before looking over his shoulder to see Genevieve staring at them.

Her eyes meet Holden's and she shoots him a glare before turning around and walking away.

"The hell is she glaring at him for? He should be glaring at her for being so close to his man" Tankhun huffed.

Ken said nothing but discreetly nodded his head in agreement.

He still has trouble accepting that his best friend is dating Klaus because he believes that he could do better.

However, he could tell that he was happy with the hybrid.

And he doesn't want that happiness to be taken away from him.

And if Genevieve does anything to destroy that, he will destroy her himself.

"I hope I wasn't interrupting anything" Holden said, looking back at Klaus.

"With Genevieve? No, you weren't. She just came to talk about things" Klaus said.

"Well I don't want you talking with her without me or Elijah being near. Actually, don't talk to her at all. Especially if she's going to be so close to you the way she was just now" Holden huffed.

Klaus raised an eyebrow at his boyfriend, amusement plastered on his face.

"Love, don't tell me you're jealous of Genevieve" Klaus grinned.

Holden blushed in embarrassment before burying his head into Klaus's chest.

"So what if I am?" Holden asked, his voice a bit muffled.

"Oh if we ever see Big again I am definitely going to tease him about his jealousy" Pol grinned.

He had never seen Big act this way, not even towards Kinn.

Which was weird because he, along with every other bodyguard that works for the main family, knew about Big's feelings towards Kinn.

But it's different with Klaus.

Maybe because his feelings weren't kept a secret and they were reciprocated and they are now together.

Klaus laughed causing Holden to look at him with a glare.

"I can assure you, love, that you have nothing to be jealous of. I know of Genevieve's feelings for me but I feel nothing towards her. She is nothing but a mere ally" Klaus told him.

He cups Holden's face gently with his hands and stares into his eyes.

"You are my boyfriend, my everything, and what we have is something I don't wish to ruin or give up on. Ever" Klaus sternly said.

Holden's eyes softened at that and he could feel his heart flutter.

"Really?" Holden asked.

Klaus smiled and nodded before leaning in and pressing his lips onto his.

Holden hummed before kissing back, wrapping his arms around his boyfriends waist.

Everyone couldn't stop the smiles from appearing on their faces.

Tankhun and Tay's smiles were bigger than the others.

Because they were relieved that while Klaus knew that Genevieve had feelings for him but he felt absolutely nothing towards her.

And they were happy that Klaus would only have eyes for Holden and would never want to ruin what they have.

When they pulled away they smiled at each other while pressing their foreheads together.

Holden opened his mouth to say something when he saw Klaus looking at something over his shoulder.

He turned around to see Jackson walking up the stairs, either going to find a bathroom or going to snoop around.

"Excuse me, love" Klaus said.

He kisses Holden's forehead before walking away, clearly going after the Kenner male.

Holden sighs in satisfaction as he looks over the balcony, watching people dance or talk with their friends.

"I have to admit, I never thought you would go after someone like him".

Holden's eyes widened and his body tensed at the voice he knew too well.

When he turned around he saw Gun, who was wearing a casual tuxedo, a few feet in front of him holding a bottle of beer.

Everyone's eyes widened at the man they were seeing onscreen, a few people tensing up.

Vegas and Macau were the ones that tensed up the most.

Not only did they have to accept the fact that their father was alive and a vampire, they had to see him again.

They thought they wouldn't after that one episode where he did appear but they assumed that would be the only time they'd see him.

Unfortunately, they were wrong.

"What the hell is he doing there?" Kim asked, eyeing his uncle onscreen.

"More importantly, what does he want?" Kinn added.

He hopes that his uncle doesn't plan on hurting Big or creating a scene that could ruin everything.

"What are you doing here?" Holden asked, raising an eyebrow at the man.

"I heard about the party that was being held by the Mikaelson's and decided to stop by. Had nothing better to do especially since Sophie is just resting at my place" Gun shrugged.

"How is she?" Holden asked, frowning slightly.

While he wasn't a big fan of Sophie he had to admit that he was worried about her health.

Especially with the state she was in when he had seen her that day.

"What exactly happened to her?" Jom asked, tilting his head to the side.

"Her niece, Monique, the one that was brought back from the dead tried to kill her" Gertrude revealed.

Everyone's eyes widened at that, shock coursing through their bodies.

"What the fuck?" Macau blurted out.

Pete would've smacked him upside the head if he wasn't so shocked by the revelation.

"Why would she do something like that?" Chay asked, completely horrified.

"Sophie wanted to get Monique out of New Orleans and somewhere safe because she didn't want her involved with the drama between the witches and vampires. But Monique didn't want to leave. She then blamed Sophie for being the reason she died and for her mom being killed and tried to have her killed" Gertrude explained.

Everyone glanced at each other, the shock still in them.

While they can understand the pain Monique must've felt when she learned her mom died, they couldn't understand why she blamed Sophie for it.

Yes, it sucks that her mom was dead but she at least had her aunt.

An aunt that worked her absolute hardest to get her back to fulfill the promise that she made to her sister.

Because her niece was the only family she had left.

But now her niece has turned against her and even tried to kill her.

"So, wait, Sophie was left for dead when her niece tried to kill her but she survived because of my father?" Vegas asked.

"Yes, which you would know if you were paying attention to that one episode where Gun explained what happened" Gertrude rolled her eyes.

Vegas glared at her but said nothing and just looked down at his lap.

His father was never someone that saved people.

If anything his father was someone that hurt people, took pleasure in it.

He was the main person that his father hurt the most.

So why the hell did his father save that witch instead of letting her die?

"She's fine but she doesn't want to go back into town, let alone to her people. She's scared she'll be killed if she does" Gun said.

"I don't blame her" Holden muttered.

"Anyways, back to what I was saying earlier, I can't believe you would date Klaus Mikaelson of all people" Gun said.

"Never thought I would agree with him" Ken muttered.

"Same" Chan quietly chuckled.

"Shut up, he's good to me and I'm happy to be with him" Holden said.

"Yeah, I can see that. But your taste in men seems to have changed" Gun said.

"What are you talking about?" Holden asked, slightly confused.

"Whenever I was over at the main family compound I heard from tons of the bodyguards that you had a crush on Kinn. I honestly thought that you would be dating someone that resembles my nephew but it looks like I was wrong" Gun said.

Holden groaned in annoyance, running a hand down his face.

"For god sakes, I never had a crush on Kinn" Holden revealed.

"Wait what?!" Pete, Arm and Ken yelled with wide eyes.

Kinn was staring at the screen with wide eyes, Porsche was in the same boat as he was.

"Wait, Big never had a crush on Mr. Kinn? Are you serious?!" Pol yelled, clear shock shown in his tone.

"Pretty sure that's what he just said, buddy" Tay chuckled.

He looked at Tankhun and saw that he was unbothered by the revelation.

He wouldn't be surprised if Tankhun knew that Big had no crush on his brother.

Considering he too had knew that the former bodyguard held no romantic feelings towards Kinn.

It was obvious by the way he looked at him.

Like he was ready to kill him or, at the very least, give him a black eye.

"Wait really?" Gun asked, confusion plastered on his face.

"Yes. Everyone just assumed that I did simply because I was always near him and seemed to admire him and everything he did" Holden explained.

"And you didn't?" Gun asked.

"Hell no. I tolerated him but I never once admired him let alone held romantic feelings for him. And I was always around him because it was my fucking job since I was his head bodyguard" Holden rolled his eyes.

Gun blinked, trying to process everything that was being said.

"I mean don't get me wrong Kinn wasn't bad looking but he wasn't my type. And if I'm being honest, the person I did have a crush on was Vegas" Holden revealed.

Everyone either coughed on their own spit or spat out whatever they were drinking.

"WHAT?!" nearly everyone screamed in disbelief.

"Excuse me, what?! He had a crush on Vegas. Vegas!" Pete yelled, his eyes wide in disbelief.

Vegas stared at the screen with wide eyes and his jaw touching the ground.

Kinn was also staring at the screen with wide eyes and his jaw touching the ground, trying to process what was just revealed.

The revelation that Big, his former head bodyguard, had a crush on his cousin was something he never expected to hear.

And for some reason, it shrunk his ego a little.

Gertrude was struggling not to burst out laughing but it was hard because of the hilarious reactions everyone had.

Gun choked on his own spit as he looked at Holden with wide eyes.

"What?! You had a crush on my son" Gun asked in shock.

"How could I not? He's hot as hell. Not as hot as Nik, obviously, but he's a close second" Holden grinned.

Gun stared at him, blinking his eyes a few times, as he tried to comprehend what he said.

"Well, I'd love to stay and chat but I'd rather go and party. I don't know if you'll stick around or not but enjoy" Holden smiled.

He patted the man on the shoulder before turning around and leaving.

Gun watched him go in silence, clearly still in shock.

"I think I'm gonna need more than beer" Gun muttered.

"For once, I'm gonna have to agree with him" Pete muttered.

Drinking beer is not going to help him.

Not after what was just revealed.

The scene changes and the camera pans to the dance floor where we see some couples slow dancing together.

The camera pans over to Holden who's standing by one of the tables, looking around the room.

His eyes stop on Hayley and Elijah, who are slow dancing together, and he smiles feeling happy for the two of them.

"Looks like our second ship has yet to sail" Tay smiled.

"Yep. Let's hope it sails soon, like our number one ship did" Tankhun smiled.

"Aren't they cute?" Jonah asked.

Holden looks at him with a smile as a laugh escapes his lips.

"Yeah, they are. Hopefully they get together soon" Holden said.

He knows the feelings his sister holds for Elijah and he knows that Elijah feels the same way.

"Me too. Now that Hayley lives in the Bayou with us she talks about how nice Elijah is and how he's always there for her and, well, lets just say it annoys Jackson as hell" Jonah chuckled.

Holden chuckled and said, "looks like your big brother has feelings for my big sister".

"That much is obvious" Jonah rolled his eyes.

"That annoys you?" Holden asked, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Only because while Jackson likes her, Hayley doesn't like him. It's clear who she truly has feelings for" Jonah said.

Holden hummed in agreement.

Everyone voiced out their agreements.

Because it's obvious that Jackson has grown feelings for Hayley, probably since the day he laid eyes on her.

But it's also obvious that Hayley doesn't like him, considering her feelings for Elijah.

"Well, how are you and your hybrid boyfriend doing?" Jonah asked.

"We're great" Holden smiled.

"He's treating you well, right?" Jonah asked.

"Of course. I know that Nik has tons of enemies and people think the worst of him, but he's amazing to me" Holden said.

"Well, as long as he's making you happy that's all that matters" Jonah smiled.

"Thanks" Holden smiled.

Jonah nodded, still smiling at him.

Tankhun felt a little relieved that instead of being angry or jealous Jonah seemed happy for Holden.

Not only that but it seems that the younger Kenner brother doesn't hold romantic feelings for Holden.

Not like how Jackson does for Hayley.

Still,  he's going to keep on eye on Jonah just in case.

All of a sudden a loud crash is heard causing the two of them to jump, clearly startled.

They turn around to see Oliver on top of a table with glass shattered all over the ground.

He gets up and Diego vamp speeds to him but Oliver is quick to pin him against a wall.

But before he can do anything Elijah appears and pulls Oliver off of Diego before pushing him against another table.

"This ends now. I won't ask again" Elijah sternly said.

"Oh, we'll end it alright" Jackson said.

Everyone turns around to see Jackson pinning Diego against a wall, a stake aimed right at his heart.

Jackson and Elijah stare at each other while everyone else watches in silence, clearly tense and wondering what is going to happen.

Everyone in the theater was tense, wondering what was going to happen.

Was Elijah going to kill Oliver?

Was Jackson going to kill Diego?

Would this just create another war between all supernaturals rather than bring peace?

Holden frowns, worried and a little annoyed.

He looks around for his sister and sees her at the stairs. She looks around for him and spots him near a table.

The siblings have a silent conversation with each other and nod their heads.

"What's stopping you?" Hayley loudly said.

"Yeah, go on ahead and kill him" Holden shrugged.

Jackson and Elijah look at the siblings in confusion as did everyone else.

"Uh...what the hell are they doing?" Chay asked, confused and worried.

"I don't know, nong" Porsche frowned, confused.

"Pretty sure none of us do" Ken muttered.

What the hell was his best friend and his sister trying to do?

Hayley walks down the stairs and makes her way towards Holden and stands at his other side.

"Go ahead, Elijah. Do it" Hayley sternly said.

"Yeah, I mean, it's not like he doesn't deserve to die" Holden added.

The camera pans over to Klaus and a woman, Francesca, who are watching the fight.

"Shouldn't you intervene or something?" Francesca asked.

"Why would I? This party just got interesting" Klaus shrugged, smirking.

"Hell yeah it did. Where's the popcorn when you need it?" Macau asked.

Gertrude giggled at the boy before snapping her fingers.

Macau gasped when he saw a bowl of popcorn on his lap.

He looked at Gertrude and smiled causing her to smile back at him while winking.

"I mean, it was Oliver who handed Rebekah over to the witches so they could torture her" Hayley shrugged.

"But, then again, wasn't it Diego who led a werewolf massacre last month? Lets not forget that the witches cursed the wolves, while the humans stood back and let it all happen" Holden added.

"So, when you think about it, everyone here deserves to die" Hayley finished.

"Are either of you approaching a point?" Elijah asked, annoyed.

"For the noble original that wears a suit everyday you aren't smart" Holden huffed.

Hayley snorted in amusement while everyone else tried stifling their laughter.

Not including Klaus who had no problems voicing out his laughter to everyone.

Everyone either chuckled at Big's words or laughed loudly at his words.

"Oh, Big. Don't ever change" Chan muttered, his lips twitching upward.

"Our point, Elijah, is this. If we can't all learn to get along, if our families can't create some sort of community, then what's the point?" Hayley asked.

"Kill each other and get it all over with" Holden finished.

Elijah and Jackson glance at each other, considering their words.

Elijah slowly releases Oliver and Jackson releases Diego while dropping the stake.

Hayley and Holden breath out a sigh of relief, happy that their plan worked and they stopped anyone from killing each other.

The siblings smile at each other and side hug.

Everyone smiled at the siblings, relieved that they stopped a fight from happening.

A fight that definitely would've lead to people being killed.

"Good job, Big and Hayley" Pol complimented.

"Yeah, they're both amazing" Arm nodded, leaning closer to Pol.

Pol looked at him with a small smile, a blush creeping onto his cheeks at how close he was.

Pete and Porsche noticed and glanced at each other with knowing grins.

The scene changes to the balcony of Klaus and Holden's room where we see Holden standing outside.

The party has ended and, so far, things seemed alright.

And at least nobody was killed.

Everyone chuckled while nodding their heads.

Holden smiles when he feels Klaus come up from behind him, wrapping his arms around his waist.

"All change begins with a plan, the success of which depends on several things, depth of commitment, passion for one's cause. Willingness to embrace a new path. Determination to overcome any obstacle. And, in some cases, even making unnatural alliances" Klaus told him.

"Does that mean the treaty has been signed?" Holden asked.

"Yes, it has" Klaus nodded.

"Good. Hopefully we can have some peace for a while" Holden sighed.

"I'm sure it will, given you and your sister stopped Elijah from killing Oliver and Jackson from killing Diego" Klaus smiled.

"We had to do something. Killing each other isn't always the answer" Holden shrugged.

"He has a point" Jom nodded.

"Yeah, no matter if you like someone or not your solution can't always be killing" Tem added.

This made the ones from the mafia glance at each other, taking their words to heart.

Footsteps are heard in the room causing the couple to look inside and see Elijah.

Elijah gestures for them to come inside and they do.

Elijah, holding a paper that happens to be the treaty, sets it down on a table and holds up a paintbrush.

He looks at Klaus and holds out the paintbrush for him.

"Sign it" Elijah ordered.

"Why? You've already done so on our behalf" Klaus asked.

"Brother, I am not a fool. It's clear to me you're not as disinterested as you'd like me to believe. Sign, please. If there is no peace between us, then how can you expect others to follow suit?" Elijah asked.

"Fine, if it will make you happy" Klaus rolled his eyes.

He rolls up his sleeve and snatches the paintbrush from Elijah.

He dips the paintbrush into some red paint before grabbing the treaty and signs his name.

"But, I assure you, this city's inhabitants will not adhere to this agreement" Klaus told him.

He sets the paintbrush down and walks over to Holden, wrapping an arm around his waist.

Elijah moves to the table and grabs the treaty.

"Well, you are welcome to wager against me. You will lose" Elijah told him.

He stares at his brother for a little before looking at Holden.

"Goodnight, Holden" Elijah says before leaving the room.

"Goodnight, Elijah" Holden muttered.

Everyone glanced at each other, having sensed some tenseness coming from the brothers.

Which really shouldn't be anything new to them since the brothers always seem to have something against one another.

But this time it seemed a little serious.

Especially since it's clear that Elijah just wants peace between all supernatural beings in New Orleans.

But it's clear Klaus believes the peace won't last and that someone is bound to ruin everything.

Holden looks at his boyfriend to see him staring at his painting.

"We'll see" Klaus said.

Holden looks at his painting and can't stop the smile from appearing on his face.

The painting is the New Orleans skyline. In the sky, Klaus has added a large full moon.

Everyone smiled at seeing the beautiful painting while others were still surprised at how good Klaus was.

"Gotta admit, he might not be my favorite person but he has talent" Porsche said.

"I'll say, he's good" Pete nodded.

"That's beautiful" Holden complimented.

"Thank you, love" Klaus smiled, looking at his boyfriend.

Holden smiles and moves closer to Klaus and wraps his arms around his neck. Klaus smiles at him and wraps his arms around his waist.

The couple leans in and presses their lips together, kissing each other softly.

The kiss turns into one of passion and Klaus lifts Holden up causing the werewolf male to wrap his legs around his waist.

They maneuver over to their bed where they engulf in a night of passion.

As the screen turns black, indicating that the episode was over, everyone felt relieved.

Because with the treaty signed from the witches, werewolves and vampires it means that there will be peace.

Maybe it won't last forever but it'll last for a while.

Which is better than nothing.

Now they're just wondering what's going to happen next.
