𝟎𝟎𝟑. BOMBSHELL INTRODUCTIONS.
━━━ 🌊🐚🌺* ◟ DOPAMINE!, Chapter Three, Season Six. Bombshell Introductions. ( June 2024 ) !
❝ Real shit. ❞
Morning blissfully came and announced its arrival, the once silent darkness that consumed the islanders leaving them to dwindle further into a peaceful sleep could only grow in reluctance as the many bright fluorescent lights turned on, as the fairytale feeling they were once in got crushed with reality. They were still on a reality show after all.
Sadé's eyes fluttered open, a quiet groan escaping her lips as the light shined brightly on her eyes all at once. Closing them back immediately, she once again decides to open her eyes but this time slowly. Looking down, she noticed where Kordell's hands were and couldn't help but chuckle quietly. Both hands were wrapped around her waist and she doesn't even remember feeling it happen.
In an attempt to not make any sudden movements, Sadé just found herself drawing invisible circles on his bare shoulder and after a few moments, he stirred right awake. His hold on her waist only tightened as he buried his head deeper into his pillow from the harsh lighting, "Morning,"
"Good morning." Sadé greets with a tired, sleep-filled smile. She slept amazing and it showed on her face as she wanted to just stay in bed.
"Mm, good morning, beautiful people." Enthused JaNa, her hands resting above her head as she blinked herself awake.
"Good morning JaNa, and good morning everyone." Sadé greets them with a wave of her hand. Rubbing her eyes, it took her a good minute to get the sleep out of it.
By the time she was about to get up, Kordell was finally fully awake. "It is going to be a beautiful day." Kordell declares which makes the girl nod in agreement.
"That it will, amen." Sliding out of bed, Sadé stretched a little, sighing in the process as she felt all the tension loosen from within her body.
"What do you usually eat for breakfast" Kordell asks the girl once they get in the hallway.
"Mmmh, let's see." With her nail tapping her chin, Sadé thought about it before coming up with an answer. What she ate in the morning honestly depended on her mood. "I'd normally eat a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with a cup of orange juice." One of her friends who was from New York put her onto that sandwich (she'd normally not eat anything bagel-related) but fell in love with it ever since and sometimes ate it with salmon.
"Your breakfast shall be served." He cheekily states, giving her a swift side hug before parting ways. Once he was out of eyesight, Sadé proceeded to head over to where JaNa and Serena stood.
Kordell who couldn't help but have a grin on his face walked into the bathroom, following behind Aaron and Kendall. "So you and Sadé huh?" Kendall teased with a knowing smirk, "I thought I was someone who could cuddle but you two took the cake."
Kordell shrugged, "You could never go wrong with cuddling man."
"Agreed," Aaron replied, causing the boys to laugh.
After spending a lengthy moment, getting herself together in the bathroom, Sadé entered the girls' dressing room with a smile on her face, waving at the other girls before she sat down at her station. "First full day in Fiji girls!" She greets.
"You guys, it's our first time doing our makeup together." Said JaNa who sat at her section.
"The first of many."
"So, you and Kordell were very close last night." Leah teased.
The girls laughed as Sadé could look away with a small smile. With her eyebrow wand, steadily began to apply some clear eyebrow gel. She decided to have a simple look with just eyebrow gel, tinted moisturizer, lipliner, and lipgloss. You could never go wrong with that combination. "And was. The way he held me felt like I was in a movie." She confessed, earning excited squeals from the girls.
"That's what I'm talking about." Serena claps in approval. "Feeling like you're in a fairytale is the best part."
After a little bit, the girls continued to talk about their night especially with Hannah having a mini rant about Kendall not doing anything, let alone touching her while doing their makeup together. When Sadé was in the middle of fluffing her lash extensions with a wand, Kordell came in and sat a plate of food and a drink down in front of Sadé which made the other girls let out "oooh's" of amusement.
"Breakfast is served." In front of her was a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, with a glass of orange juice. The bread was toasted just the way she liked and the egg was cooked with just the amount of yolk still runny that made her just want to taste it.
"Thank you," Sadé gushed, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Of course." He whispered in her ear with a smile, pressing a chaste kiss on her cheek before leaving to give both her and the women their space.
From the moment Sadé turned around, she was met with the girls quietly observing her before breaking into a chorus of screams and questions. "Don't even." She attempts to stop them before breaking into a smile herself. After eating and making sure that she looked good, Sadé had some of her hair up into a claw clip and changed into a yellow and green two-piece bikini with a cropped top that read 'Brazil' in bold lettering and shorts with yellow sandals to match.
Sadé took the time to mingle with the other islanders, getting to know the boys specifically Aaron and Kendall before they got whisked away by their ladies. They were cool, she didn't get the time to talk to Rob since he disappeared someplace else but they still had the rest of the day to catch up on things.
Moving over to the blue-striped lounge couch, that was by the pool, Sadé sat cross-legged with Kordell following behind her. With her water bottle in hand, she takes a sip before speaking, "Since I know a little bit about you, here is your opportunity to get to know me. Ask away."
"I know that a majority of us here are influencers, models, and that type of stuff but what do you do?" Kordell asks and Sadé gives him an answer that he was not expecting to say the least.
"I work for NASA in their Astrophysics Division." Reveals Sadé who could only chuckle from the look of shock Kordell gave her. "And before you ask, yes the actual NASA that deals with space. So what we do is helping us people understand how the universe began to evolve and the idea of if there are other places than earth where life might thrive." Explained Sadé, "I've always been into anything that revolved around space as a kid, and I swore to myself that I would get into NASA. Trust me when I say that it is not easy and the process of rigorous but I'm always looking forward to a challenge."
"NASA? Now that is insane."
"I know and I'm proud of it. So, do you have any long-term goals?" Asks Sadé.
"Like explain."
"Your goals long term?" Sadé clarified looking at Kordell with a raised brow. "Like what do you see yourself doing or becoming in the next five years."
"I want to get into the acting field. Like, I've been doing runways and I want to continue that but in the future, I want to get into acting."
"Okay, tryna be like Denzel I see." Sadé lets out a soft hum, taking a sip of her water before continuing. "So, like, what type of acting? Like give me a monologue, give me a line. Let's see if you're Oscar-worthy."
Straightening his posture, Kordell puts on a face of emotion that resembled betrayal, and proceeded to recite words, "I built this shit. Me. Brick by brick. And I'll be damn-" Kordell emphasizes which only makes Sadé burst into laughter.
"I can't-" Sadé brought a hand up motioning in a slicing motion as she tried to control her laughter. "But I'll give you some points for quoting 'Snowfall'."
"Besides modeling and acting, what are some other things that you see yourself getting into." Sadé in a sense felt like she was prying a bit but the things you do when you're interested in someone.
"So, I definitely want to do sponsorships as well."
"Like?"
"Cheez-its." Giving him a really? look, it only took one second before she burst into laughter. She hasn't laughed this hard in a long time because of anyone. Fanning her face so she wouldn't tear up from laughing so hard.
"Stop the madness." Sadé and Kordell continued to talk for a minute, the girl finding herself unable to stop laughing which as a result left her having the take a step back to calm down. The pair decided to go mingle with the other islanders with Kordell going out to the ping pong table and Sadé joining the girls upstairs.
"I'm the type of person who doesn't have time for the games, like, I get that you got your shit to deal with just don't try to play me in the process. It's 2024, do better." The girls were currently having a discussion where they'd talk about what they looked for in a relationship and what were possible deal breakers.
"That's what I'm saying." Agreed Serena. "I'm done with the fuck boys, I'm done with the heartbreakers. I just want me a loverboy." Her eyes glanced over in Marcus's direction as he was over by the ping-pong table with the boys.
"Loverboys are the best." Nods JaNa. "They treat you like queens."
"And they'd be down to do whatever. Like, stay up all night and watch romcoms or late-night adventures to 7/11. I need that." Leah adds.
"Need that-" Her sentence was cut off by a text alert that dinged from somewhere in the villa. "Time to face the music ladies."
"I got a text!" Kendall shouted catching everyone's attention. Pulling out his phone from his pocket, the girls ran out onto the balcony just as he read out, "Hi boys! I'm on my way to the villa. I can't wait to get to know you all, and tonight one of you will be sharing a bed with me! Love, Liv. #StealingHearts #JumpShip."
All of the boys ran over to Kendall, jumping and cheering in excitement. All of the girls had shocked and worried looks on their faces as the boys celebrated. Sadé looked at the girls with slight worry in her eyes, "Well shit."
A tall, slim, Australian beauty with long wavy blonde hair and striking blue eyes strolled into the villa with the utmost confidence and smile to boast it. Everyone gasped as she walked in, "Hello? Hi guys, I'm Olivia." She greeted, her thick Australian accent coming out strong as she looked at everyone.
SADÉ CON: She's stunning. That's it. That's all I have to say.
After the brief introduction, everyone went over to the fireplace to just get to know Liv and see who she was as a person. It was quiet at first with Aaron being the first to speak up, "So Liv, what are you looking for?"
"Well, I've never been in like, a serious relationship. I'm very much like, I date to, like, see them in the future to, like, have a husband. I'm not very dating around, I don't like sleeping around. Nothing against it, just not me." Liv explained to the Islanders.
"So, I'm looking to like, go past my usual type," Liv told them, which could only make them wonder what she meant. "Kind of like the bad boys, tall, I am quite tall. Like, Darker features you know, I can go for that type. I'm looking for someone that I can move to America with or come to Australia." She explained all of the girls oohed at that.
"Liv, based on looks, like, who would you just pull for a chat?" JaNa asked curiously.
"I mean, like, everyone's really attractive but I know what I want. So if we match, we match energies. If we don't, like, keep it moving." Liv answered.
After everyone got to know the bombshell and showed her around, they all decided to go their separate ways. Currently, Sadé was chatting with Leah on the terrace.
From the corner of her eye, Sadé notices Liv pulling Rob to the side so they can talk. "She's talking to Rob."
Leah follows Sadé's gaze to where she was referring to, "What?" Sadé subtly points over to show Rob and Liv walking over to the swings.
Leah could only shrug as she tried to not show that she was a little bit bothered. Sadé could tell that it was affecting her in some sort of way and placed a hand on her shoulder, "Don't stress about it. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about." She reassured, earning a nod from Leah.
"I'm not going to be upset if she ends up choosing him, because that's what we're here for, to venture out and find connections even if deep down inside it's with the person we possibly want."
Frowning, Sadé pulled her into a hug, "Try not to think about it too much babe."
"It's all good. But enough about me, how are things with Kordell?" Asks Leah who tried to change the subject of her little situation into something more positive.
"Good so far, we've just been getting to know each other," Sadé answers, earning a nod. "I feel like taking things day by day is the best option because I don't want to put my heart into something so quickly and then wind up having to be the one to pick up the pieces."
"Real shit." Holding out her hand, Leah looks at Sadé with a grin. Sharing that same expression, Sadé joins her hands with hers.
"Real shit." She repeats.
Nightfall came and Sadé found herself rushing over to her station to touch up on her hair and makeup. It was recoupling after all. After doing so which didn't take so long, she changed into her outfit for the evening, which was a maroon square collared long-sleeve dress that hugged all the curves and dips she had to offer with heels to match.
"Damn, Syd! You look hot! Kordell better move out of the way!" Kaylor exclaimed with the rest of the girls agreeing.
"Of course, gotta keep him on his toes right?" The girls laughed as they filed out of the dressing room with the boys waiting for them by the stairs.
Kordell's jaw physically drops when his eyes land on Sadé. Taking in her appearance he visibly looks stunned which only made her smirk. "You're staring." Her voice is soft, and light but filled with an edge of teasing that makes him chuckle in realization.
"How can I not when you look so..." Naturally his hand made its way into hers and slickly pulled her closer to him in the process. "Beautiful." With a wide smile, Sadé held his arm as they followed the others to a table and grabbed drinks, soon enough their regular speech commenced and was concluded with cheers.
Their host Ariana strolls into the villa and Kendall is the first to make it known. "Hi, islanders! Can you all please join me at the fire pit?" She instructs, and they do just that.
Kordell had Sadé to sit next him, and naturally, she placed a hand on his lap. "Liv, welcome to the villa!" Ariana greets them as they get seated.
"Can you come up here and join me, please?" Ariana asked, and Liv got up and stood next to her. "Well, how was your first day?"
"It was nerve-wracking but a lot of fun. Like, everyone's been so nice," Liv told her. "Have you been spending time getting to know all of the boys?"
"Yes, I mean, everyone's attractive, but I like personality a lot, so I tried to have a conversation with everyone, see like, who I vibed with more," Liv explained.
"Just trying to give everyone a fair chance," Ariana adds, earning a nod from Liv.
"Boys, I hope you've all been making Liv feel welcome." Ariana looked over at the boys with a smile.
"Trying."
"Yup, we're doing our best."
"Some more than others!" Aaron said, making everyone chuckle.
It grew silent before Ariana spoke up, "Well, Liv, you have the opportunity to steal any of the boys here," Ariana revealed which only created an edge among the couples. "Making you a brand new love island couple."
"Liv, it's decision time," Ariana said. "Which boy do you want to steal?"
"I want to steal this boy because in the past I've tended to go for the type that I'm really comfortable with. I feel like I'd be doing myself an injustice not to venture out and try something that I'm not familiar with. I feel like there's definitely something there." Liv explained.
"How difficult was it to come to this decision?" Ariana asked.
"I never want to step on anyone's toes, but I got to trust my gut." Liv clarified before anyone got the wrong idea. She was there for love after all. "The boy I want to steal is..."
"Rob."
Sadé lets out a breath of air that she hadn't realized she'd been holding once she heard Rob's name roll off of Liv's tongue and fall into the air with broken silence instead of Kordell's. Immediately she looks at Leah to see her reaction. Earlier she did tell her that he said they didn't have a connection, so why choose him out of all boys?
"Wow." Sadé mumbles.
"Okay, Liv, you have chosen to steal Rob," Ariana said, "Leah, you are now single. Please come and stand up here with me. Liv, go claim your man." As Leah stood up and walked away, Rob could only look at her retreating figure in disbelief.
Leah stood next to Ariana while Liv took her place next to Rob. "Rob, how are you feeling?" Was the first thing Ariana asked.
"I did not see this coming at all." He answered honestly.
"No indication?" She asked again.
Rob shook his head, "I promise you, I had no idea she was going to pick me."
"I had to go with my gut and my heart, and I had a great connection with both of them, but it was very similar to what I have had in the past. And like, I didn't come here to do what I've done in the past. It didn't work." Liv explained and you could tell that Kendall was possibly feeling some type of way.
Ariana then turned to Leah, "Leah, is there anything you want to say to Liv or Rob?"
Leah could only put on a brave face, "I hope you guys have fun." She said, sadly smiling at the new couple in front of her. "Hope it works out."
"Thank you," Liv said softly.
"Well, Leah, you are now single," Ariana stated looking at the girl with a solemn expression,
"And as you know, it's never good to be single on "Love Island"."
"Unless, of course, someone has arranged two smoking hot new boys to turn up late to the party!" Ariana exclaimed, making everyone including, Leah turn to the main entrance in confusion.
Sadé upon hearing that gets up to see two attractive men make their way towards the fire pit. The rest of the islanders stood up to greet the two, shock written all over their faces.
"Holy shit." Mutters Sadé as looks at Kordell. A lot of things have happened and the day wasn't even over yet. Still keep a close distance at him, she could only greet the new bombshells with a smile.
"Hi."
Hopefully, the rest of the night wouldn't be so bad right?
