No. 15- Accidents Happen

Get ready for a treat...

-- -- --

"So how did you get here?" Ink questioned Geno as he walked beside him. They had recently left the scene of where Ink and Error had fallen down- more so Ink then Error. The trio only made it out of the stairwell hell when Ink stated his curiosity.

"Oh you know- the usual," Geno paused for a second as he looked over to the shattered glass hallway, seeing some of his blood that dribbled from his gash,"Finding a strange door and demons coming to murder me from it."

    "Sarcastic, I like it-"

"Might I ask on how you guys fell from the ceiling?"

"Oh yeah-! That..." Ink trailed off slightly before Error had decided to speak up, as before hand he spoke very little.

"Ink and I began to search the strange attic like area above or more near the chandelier that I had found. The others I have no hell of a clue what they're doing."

"-Because you hadn't stayed long enough-" Ink added to Error's commentary from his prospective. Error continued on;

"The attic floor was most likely not able to support at least two almost weightless skeletons and Ink was unfortunate to be the one to get a first taste of this unstable floor."

"There's others?"

"Yeah-"

"Who's there or have you seen?"

"Originally we saw Killer, Horror, Dream, Blue, Nightmare, Cross, Lust, the normal skeletons-"

"Any others?"

"Why? Are you looking for someone...?" Ink once more interrogated Geno.

"...Possibly"

------

The door creaked open, the loudness of the door's crying almost shattered Blue's ears while Dust was unaffected.

"How are you not in pain?"

"The doors squeaked heavily back at the mansion-"

"You lived in a mansion-?"

"We're getting off-topic."

"Right-"

The room was bare, had some to no lighting to show the rest of the room, so that was all they could determine right now. "You got a flashlight?"

"Nope-"

"Just great..." Dust groaned.

"I know right-?" Blue responded, having slight sarcasm twirl around the words he spoke of.

There was silence, A heavy, dreadful silence. Blue just huffed as he confidently strides into the darkened room. The room was filled with dirtied, white pads on the wall, some blood stains laid here and there.

   "Wow...what a room."

   "Hush."

Dust had entered the room as well, now exploring by Blue's side. The whole room seemed like it was stuck in one time zone, making it feel so stiff and unrealistic for the whole room to look like how it was now. Blue had now began to walk more cautiously in the room, going more to the darkness to see if there was anything they could even have to help them. The small skeleton had quickly paused when he discovered a hand.

It didn't seem like it was connected to a body- or it was that he couldn't see the body at the moment, either way it gave Blue the chills. "Dust..?" Blue called out for his companion, and when he received no answer, he turned around harshly, a bit impatient if you please.

"Dust if you're playing games wit-" Blue was cut off with silence as he saw Dust, staring wide eyed at something in the darkness. "Dust-"

"Don't.....Don't you see that thing too..?"

"See what?" The armored skeleton walked closer to the taller, "What do you see?" Blue quizzed Dust, curiosity getting the best of him- Though he fears on what this curiosity shall bring him to.

"That...thing" Dust pointed over to the darkness- more near the presumed corner of the room. Blue squinted at the spot, unable to see anything- but after a few moments of just glaring at the corner- he saw something. He took multiple steps back, feeling his gag reflects kick in. Dust just stood, still looking at it like it was the only thing in the room.

It looked..horrifying

"I feel slight Déjà vu.."

"Wh- how the hell could you feel that if we've never been here before?" Cross questioned his partner, his eye-lights shifting to the goopy skeleton the the hallway they were currently strolling through. Nightmare hadn't responded to Cross as he looked at his hands while walking next to the over-dressed skeleton.

"I just...feel like there's something to this house.."

"You and Dream were acting strange in the meeting room you know."

"I'm aware Cross.." The more the two walked, the more the steps creaked and wailed on the decaying wood. "What do you think happened here?"

"What do you mean by that?" Cross stopped walking, looking at Nightmare questionably, "Something's not right with you Night...what's going on?" Cross's facial features had transformed to a look of concern, as he tried to look Nightmare in the eye.

"I just...it just...feels like this had happened before or some shit and it's messing with my mind Cross- And I just- I can't think right now is all.."

"Do you...." Cross trailed off, his eye-lights traveling to one of the doors. Nightmare gave the fluffier skeleton a look to continue. When the other had finally got the message, he went on; "Do you..want to just rest for a bit? Maybe one of these rooms are privet and we rest up there- i doubt you've been really sleeping, have you?"

Nightmare sighed- was it really that noticeable? The taller only nodded his head looking slightly down on the wooden floor with the thin rub it snugged onto. He was kinda glad there was at least a rug based on the floor it seemed rather disgusting, despite the rest of the items and walls looking in clean condition- well the wallpaper was ripping off slightly but that's besides the point.

The active skeleton walked over to a room he was eyeing and opened it up, as he caught a bed in there as he glanced around the room almost shyly. The room seemed to fit Nightmare perfectly...like it was planned for them. With it's purple covers and black pillows, to the bed frame having decorated curves of a night sky on the backboard. It almost scared the smaller on how it fit the king. Something felt so...out of place- and it scared him.

   Yet he called Nightmare over.

"Hey Nights-! I found an ok room for you!"

------

Blue didn't want to keep looking- he really didn't. That monster was just..staring back at him-

those cold and empty eyes...

The hand that Blue had found prior to this discovery was actually connected to the figure. The arm was almost noodle like- as if someone had stretched it's arm like rubber or like play-dough. The monster stood so far away- about a mile far but the hand was near the entrance..the other arm was in a neatly put pile behind the creature.

The unnatural figure was exceedingly tall, as it had to hunch down harshly. But even then, it's neck had to bend so the head wouldn't break through the ceiling made of pads. It was thin, oh so thin- you could perfectly see all of it's bones such as rib cage, the joints of the legs- he was a twig. A disfigured twig of a dead tree.

It's eyes seemed to have been gouged, making it hollow as it leaked blood and stained it thin cheek bones. Blood poured from it's large jaw- as it was crooked and almost reached the floor- it was absolutely horrible.

To make matters worse, the thing broke it's neck to the side as he gazed at Blue, before striding over to Blue, just like he had done when he first walked through the door. The smaller snapped out of his daze, seemingly panicked once that creature started to make it's way towards him. "DuST-!" Blue screeched out, calling for his companion as he tried to grip on his arm to move him, "snAP OUT OF IT AND LETS GO-!"

But Dust didn't move.

He just stared with almost hollow looking eye-sockets.

Blue started to hyperventilate, his eye-lights shaking heavily. "DUST COME ON!" Tears started to build up in his eye-sockets in fear- he didn't want to go out like this-!

NonononNONONONONO

"NO STOP-!" Blue screamed once the creature got closer to the two. It had seemed like doom for him, as Dust just patiently waited for that thing to take him out completely.

Blue had finally, finally, got the strength to pull Dust with him. His legs shook but had started to make a running start to the door while pulling Dust with him like a rag doll. The thing  screeched at the high pitch of his lungs as he started to run after the two, bones breaking as it ran.

But it was too slow, as Blue had reached the outside of the room, Dust close behind. The hollowed skeleton slammed the door shut as the thing screamed, almost begging, to be let through to the other side.

But all blue did was slump down against the door, his legs shaking uncontrollably as he hiccuped with heavy tears running down his face as a hollow Dust laid limply beside him.

It hurt...so much..

------

The window had been opened, as the gusts of the wind from the outside world pushed the blinds back almost dramatically. A tall woman stood in front of the window as she looked out. She was unnaturally tall, her hands claw like as her head almost scrapped the ceiling.

"It appears something has happened.." She stated as her claws brushed through her silky black hair.

"What do you think...?" She questioned, only turning slightly to look at you, "You seem rather...quiet"

It was silent, far far too quiet to be here- it was suffocating quietness-!

"I have a dear friend I'd like you to meet.."

"Fresh #19853, come here please.."
