No. 14- Troubled thoughts

-//-//-

Geno gasped back instantly going back to the doorway. The fallen figure groaned, his voice deep and slightly in pain. It was obvious that this was a skeleton, with it's white bones showing.

It only took Geno to realize who had fallen down.

Geno breathed in and out shakily before saying.....

"Ink..?" Geno's breath was shaky, still a bit startled. The said skeleton groaned at the sound of his name, but didn't move. The sound of shuffling came from above before a black boned figure dropped from the same hole, but had a more softer landing. There no doubt that's Ink and Error.......but how did they get here? Did they go through the same door as Geno had?

"Uh..." Geno seemed to freeze up slightly, as Error's glare was most definitely aimed towards him and not Ink; who was still on the ground starfish style. But Geno could understand why.....

They were technically the same person. The only difference was that they looked different and reacted to things in different ways- different different different different- It was all so different about them! The only thing that made them technically the same was their code, but that's about it.

When Geno and Error first met, the taller had actually came from a completely different multiverse that was apparently abandoned. He was the only one in that multiverse after his original timeline was destroyed by a player, making him be a Geno sans to an Error. Of course that's just how this Error came to be- all them had different stories, that Geno could tell.

But in all, it wasn't that Geno or Error hated each other completely, they just....started off on the wrong foot, and that foot will stay in place for who knows how long. Ink groaned again before lifting his skull up from the ground. His face surprisingly looked fine besides the pebbles that stayed on his face from the hole damage. "Oh..Hey Geno" The fallen one's voice had the tone that acted like they just didn't scare the living decimals out of him.

The shortest of the group had finally gotten up after a few moments with the help of the glitched one. The forever bleeding skeleton just stayed off to the side, not sure what he could really do at the moment besides watch them and think. Geno had decided to use his time and just think...like why did Error and Ink come down a hole and if there's anyone else in this house...

That brought his thoughts to the biggest flirt he knew, Reaper. Is.......Is Reaper also here..? Geno hadn't seen him in a couple of days, that being his only anchor to his sanity. If he never came into his life, there'd be two Errors in one room right now. Geno brought himself back into reality then his jumble of thoughts wonderland.

Now the only question was how the hell was Ink fine? Although the ceiling was low, he did fall a bit higher than the ceiling, judging by the hole in the said ceiling. He should've broken at least something. But that doesn't mean the shortie hadn't gotten anything from that fall.

Ink had a rather long crack leading from slightly at the top of his left eye-socket to almost his ink stain on his bone-cheek. Some dust particles were falling from the scar as Error was checking at the wound. Thankfully majority of us skeletons don't bleed........not counting Geno of course-

Though, the scared one seemed to have some sort of black liquid coming out of the wound, but it was only a small stream as Ink stuffed some tissue into the wound, making the stream stop.

The room was silent before someone had decided to speak up.

"So, how did you get here?"

"Why do you seem so happy?"

"I'm not-!"

"Then why are you skipping?"

"Out of habit-"

Dust and Blue had found themselves spiral into multiple hallways that dragged off from the original hallway they claimed to look at. They had tried to open some of the doors that the hallways shoved into this skulls, but they all lead to brick walls or never opened at all. So they stopped checking doors, feeling as if it was unneeded.

"How is skipping out of habit?" Dust had asked the smaller next to him. The small had continued skipping, his body moving up and down from the motions.

"I usually just skipped a lot- it makes me feel at home!" The other's voice had more of the childish tone to it, but for Dust, it always had some sort of sinister interest in it. It was probably what had got him so tangled up in mysteries about the hyper skeleton.

The taller had decided to not question the one next to him anymore, and focused on the search.

This house brought him unsettled thoughts and emotions- and he definitely felt the effect of them. He felt more...paranoid around the others, like one of them would just snap. Or like every creak the house made had always made him jump. Dust could only feel this Paranoia back in his timeline....and that frightened him. He had hoped that Blue would help with that- and it felt like it was.

At last, they had reach the final door. It had a handplate, having a name on it in some other worldly language. They didn't even want to try and pronounce the word- Or well Blue had wanted to but Dust had already opened the door.

Inside they found......

----

A light tapping of a pen onto a table was heard. It held a steady beat to it, evenly spread out. There were no other sound to conflict the pen's. No one was holding the pen either.

A journal was open on top of the ruble the desk had on it.

You decided to pick it up with non-existing hands.

'Group testing had split into groups of mixes I should've predicted. Two had left before others, for plans I have no idea of. Others were scared of leaving; while only one stood positive. One of them I could never see through. They hide a good mask of good, but so tainted.'

'I had wanted them to split into ones, to make my job easier, but they just wanted it the hard way huh..?'

'I have been planning this for years and so if I dared to fail I-'

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" A blank character had dragged you away from the journal. "You're supposed to be seated.." They trailed off, before shoving you to a seat in front of a well kept desk.

"I'm here to ask some...questions.."

The character had sat in the more comfortable chair behind the desk, grabbing a pen and a small notebook.

"Do you have any attachments to these...characters?"

The thing stared at you, letting you answer.

"Do you think they know?"

"What are you scared of?"

"You can trust me......I know you"
