No. 12- Flower meeting

  -//-//-

"So what should we do? Sitting here is driving me more insane then I'm already am."

Majority of the skeletons looked over at Dust who was getting ready to just get up and go. "We should split up into groups so we can cover more ground and so it'll be less stressful than a whole group of like 20 skeletons at once." Ink suggested, adjusting his scarf slightly. A few of the skeletons nodded while others stayed silent, unsure to trust one another fully.

Cross stayed by Nightmare's side the whole time, watching over everyone silently. There was no need for him to be speaking at the moment, not that he has much to say either way. He just wanted to get out of here and go somewhere he can call home, maybe stay with Nightmare a little bit more. "Splitting up wouldn't be the worst idea really. As Ink said, it'll most likely be better for everyone so we have less things to have to argue over." While Nightmare was saying the last part, he looked over at Horror to Dust with a glint of a harsh glare.

Cross nodded, agreeing with Nightmare. He saw a few others like Killer, Blue and Lust also nodding their heads.

"As long as I don't have to work with Him, I'll be fine." Horror pointed over at Dust as he spoke. It would be much wiser to not group Dust and Horror together, especially when the group saw them arguing harshly. Dust just rolled his eye-lights at Horror's comment.

"So let's just get into groups shall we?" Killer added on, wanting to just get up and look around.

"We'll split up into two groups, that way we won't have an odd number group." Lust commented, not wanting people to get mixed up on what the groups should be like number wise.

Cross stood his ground as he stayed right next to Nightmare, as the taller had the same idea. The skeletons that didn't even have a plan on who they'd be teaming up as were kinda moving around...a lot. Nightmare got Cross's attention by poking him with a tentacle. He moved his head back in a direction, as the white and blacked dressed skeleton got the message. They wouldn't mind if the two of them get...a head start of looking around, right?

-------

A god laid down on a flower bed of roses, with their thorns cut nicely so they couldn't prick anyone. Although, due to this grim reaper's touch, the roses no longer held their bright scarlets and bright pinks of reds, instead they shriveled up like a dried raisin and grew a greyish brown that seems to make them stand out in an unwanted way.

The god of death groaned as he lifted himself off of the rather tall flower bed of now dead and crippled roses. A few rose pets were on him but quickly flew off with the wind when the deathly one made a move.

The sun kissed the soul taker as he looked up and around him. He was currently in a nice and well kept garden, other then the roses he had just killed being ignored of course. The trees were grand, some were thin birch trees in small groups while others were the classic oak trees and spruce trees with their dark and warm browns.

The flowers also varied upon types and species. A few daisies, others were the roses, a few sunflowers; which stood up taller than the rest. There wasn't one single weed in sight, or what he can tell. Life would love this place....

The god mumbled a few nonsense words before getting off the ground, not wanting to kill the life around him as he then took off to figure out how he even got here. There were sounds of a river and perhaps a small waterfall near by, like one of those fantasy places where a kingdom has that dream like garden.

'Is Geno here..?' The grim reaper thought to himself. It was the main reason why he even risked going through here...but what if Geno wasn't even here?

The god sighed shakily, of course he been anxiety driven. He's been feeling stressed out these past days due to all these natural disasters these humans and monsters alike where having, so being in an unfamiliar place while on the search for a skeleton that was forever stuck in limbo? It's going to turn on you one way or another, no matter how pretty everything is.

Though, after floating around a bit, he could see a house's shadow start showing up. The more he went, the more the house became clear. In fact, it started to not look like a house at all, instead a castle in like dutch era or something, basing off of the grand architecture and towers. Reaper took a deep breath before he walked over to what seemed like the back door, assuming that this was the houses garden.

The trees around it was casting a deep forest, and one warm oak color standing out..It looked nice for climbing and stuff.

Taking up all of the god's courage, he opened the door to see....A strange layout for sure.....

-------

The two were far for the group to be able to hear themselves. "For a small group of skeletons they sure get fucking loud.." Nightmare grumbled, Cross sighed and agreed.

"They're like when Horror and Dust argue, expect they are more...maintained." Cross added on. "Do you think they'll notice us missing? Besides Killer of course..". Cross actually didn't mind Killer, he thought he was a good teammate and all. It was just that Killer minded Cross more than anything. Killer was one who didn't like it when someone wanted...the same thing that he wanted. One of those things was nightmare....But Cross wasn't angry with him.

Besides...Killer getting Nightmare wouldn't happen because....

"Cross?"

The smaller looked over at Nightmare, it seemed that he had spaced out and stopped walking, as the taller skeleton was in front of Cross then equal grounds were. "Hmm?" The heavily dressed one responded to the one who had the tentacles.

"You spaced out for a bit, you got something on your mind Criss-cross?" Nightmare interrogated the fluffy one. Cross chuckled at the nickname the taller had called him. They usually call each other names when no one else was around...It was a nice thing they had between the two of them besides a few other things.

"I'm ok" Cross replied with a soft tone, showing no signs of stress or anything really. Nightmare only mumbled a slight ok before he continued to walk. Cross caught up to the tar covered skeleton rather quickly. Damn how long is this hallway?

Reeling back to Cross's question Nightmare finally responded. "I don't think that many of them would even notice, until they get into their groups to find out two had 'escaped plan'." Nightmare was referring to something Ink would yell during some of their battles if something didn't go to their plan. Ah, the good times...

The smaller skeleton softly laughed at that, clearly understanding the inside joke the whole gang had. Nightmare's tentacles weren't all that active, a few were limp on the ground while others waved around lazily. It didn't seem like Nightmare was really on alert to this house, which contrasted with what he said earlier in the main room. Maybe because it looked like the taller's castle but with actual color and some strange designs everywhere.

Like a few clocks were stuck in one time while others kept spinning, it was like time doesn't properly exists here. "Wanna check out this room?" Nightmare pointed to a wooden door off to the right, the first door they came across while going down this freakishly long hallway. I mean there were a few staircases moving up and down but the two skeletons prefered to check down here first so they wouldn't overwhelm themselves.

"Sure"

-.-.-.-

A small skeleton laid on the floor with shattered glass surrounding him. A red scarf tied around his neck tightly as if it was a valuable thing that they didn't want to lose.

He opened his eye-socket with a weirded out expression.

"What?"

Hello everyone who is somehow reading this bOOK- I'm just surprised anyone reads any of my silly books.

I'm no where near being a professional writer but thank you for reading my failed attempts at writing, I hope I'm entertaining you~

If this chapter seemed short I'm so sorry- I wish I could write more for this chapter but I kinda don't want to end this book short in a way, like I want there to be at least 20 chapters before I'd end this- Maybe I'll have more then 20 chapters- who knows really?

But anyways- I hope you enjoyed this chapter-? I try and update whenever I can.
