No. 07- Dense
-//--//--//-
The trees threatened the group of skeletons as they ruffled their leaves, the wind howled at them.
Horror was in the front, leading the group, with Ink following close behind. Ink held a face of uncertainty, not believing this 'door that sucked all my friends in and I'm scared for them' yada yada stuff.
Behind Ink was Dream, he wasn't directly behind him but an arm's length away, so not to far. Dream held a similar face like Ink's but held more of a softness to it.
And in the far back, was Blue and Dust chatting like they've never been enemies in the first place.
The positive skeleton's rich, golden eyes scanned the snowy woods. He felt uneasy here, though he was unsure what was making him queasy.
Was it because of the negative aura that surrounded the place? Could've been Nightmare's aura, but it didn't have that loathing and brother feel to it. Instead the aura held terror and intense within them, as the air felt thick, crushing them as they tugged through the harsh weather.
The trees weren't much help as they blocked the biggest light source in the grim, winter forest. If only they were Nightmare...
Skeletons can't feel cold often, but the more they went, the more their bones shook. It quite confusing on how that works, but it's best to not question here.
The snow was thick in height and sound as the five sanses' feet stomped on the soft ground.
Ink had his paintbrush by his side, gripping it harder and harder with every step taken.
Going into this forest didn't seem like the greatest of great ideas to neither Dream nor Ink.
Blue on the other hand, didn't seem to find the deep woods horrifying.
It could've that he was more used to this aura or that he was distracted by Dust.
Looking over to Dust, you could tell Dust felt....scared in this forest from his insane eyes darted from tree to ground often. Literally half of his team got lost in here. Talking was the only way he was going to get his mind off things, and Blue seemed to do the trick.
Horror halted to a stop rudely, as Ink almost bumped into the bloody skeleton, Dream almost doing the same with Ink.
Blue and Dust were kinda far a part from the traveling group, as they lightly jogged up to the now still bundle.
Dust was the first one to catch up to the frozen group, since he had better speed and had a head start, with Blue trailing behind the dusty Skeleton.
Blue held a determined and fascinated stare as he saw what the others had stumbled in front of.
"So this is the door...huh?" Ink stated, his voice stumbling into a question.
Horror nodded, as he felt that same aura around the door.
Power.
The power was strong, like a wave pool, it sucks you into a loop of water.
"Yeah, no shit Sherlock" Dust piped up, Dream covered Blue's 'ears' like a mother would.
Horror walked closer to the mystical door, eyeing it like it would drag him into the pits of hell.
"Where the hell are they..?" Horror grumbled. They should've been here, unless this was done shitty prank.
"They went in without us, Horror" Dust spoke out. The star sanses kept quite in this discussion, as they never truly interacted with the anti-sanses. They could accidentally trigger one of them and they lost their chance for any answer.
"Have you seen the goop on the door handle ya dingus?" Dust insulted Horror, giving him an annoyed expression.
Dust knew Horror didn't pay attention to his surroundings, as his vision is kinda bad due to his hole in his skull and one eye. Dust, on the other hand, was usually the look out, as his eyes were great at picking up the smallest of details, along side with Killer of course.
Horror looked displeased with Dust's attitude, as the bloody skeleton glared holes into the other's skull.
"Well I can't see well smartass," Horror countered Dust,"You could've been the one leading instead of talking to the blueberry in the back like some child.".
Dust growled at Horror, not enjoying his speech on how he acts.
Dust and Horror never get along, so why were they paired up for look out, they have no fucking clue. The whole gang knew they hated each other with their entire existence as they sent death glares to one another that Reaper would be impressed.
Horror looked away from the dusty skeleton, as he moved farther away from the group, dragging himself towards the door.
The door was in the same position as they last saw it, only with the absence of Killer'a shoes and with a puddle of goop dripping from the door handle.
Horror gripped onto the door's handle as he almost ripped the door off of it's hinges.
The door ached with unbearable pain as it sprung open, hitting it's back on it's own frame.
Once the door was opened, the group emerged from the darkness and closer towards the door.
Blue skipped along the group, as he was on the side. He didn't seem hesitant like the others.
Dust walked along with Blue, having a bit of a struggle keeping up with him as the blue skeleton was skipping at a faster speed then walking.
Horror was the first one to put his foot through the door, as his foot just vanished once it stepped through the wide open door. Horror looked kinda scared for a few seconds before he made his face neutral, as he stepped through the door.
and just like that. . .
He vanished.
Ink was the next one to step through, his face held no emotions, but his eye-sockets said otherwise. His eye lights were constantly changing to different symbols, as the artistic skeleton's movements were shaky and hesitant.
Dust had grown impatient with Ink as he walked behind him and shoved him forwards, as Ink, too, had vanished like Horror, but more forcefully.
Dream just ran towards the door right after Ink and immediately walked through the door, worried for one of friends that literally was just forced to enter a place they don't know at all.
Who wouldn't be concerned?
It was just Blue and Dust now.
Blue grabbed Dust's skeletal hand and booked it to the door. Blue was exhilarated to go on a new adventure, especially with new people. Dust stiffened as soon as Blue grabbed the killer skeleton, as Blue dragged him to the door.
As soon as they stepped through that door,
they both vanished like everyone else.
All that was left were their weapons to know that they've been there. . . .
