No. 03- Killer

Error was leaning against a tree. The tree stood proudly near the end of a cliff, as the cliff provided the tree with a clear view of all the stars and planets.

Outertale was a beautiful place to star gaze, and personally one of Error's places to sit back and relax while the other cause their problems, and it's the only place where the voices would stop pestering him.

The view the tree and cliff provided was one of Error's places, as the sky was colored with dark navy blues, pinks, magentas, light blues, yellows, and of course, so many stars and planets crowded the canvas. It was astonishing, and so. . colorful.

But sadly, Error wasn't here to relax. Not at all.

Earlier, Nightmare had told them to go to Outertale and wait for him to chat a bit. This caught some of the members of the group, but went along with it.

Fell wasn't able to come with the rest of the group, as he had 'more important things to do' or just was asked to do more bullshit for his 'boss'.

Error was there first, so he got some time to himself.

Error's outfit wasn't any different from any sanses', just a few adjustments and different clothing styles. But his color palette, oh boy, was it incredibly different then the rest, let alone that he has 'ERRORS' all around himself and always glitches.

Error's bone color wasn't white, quite the opposite. His eye-sockets had the background of red, as his eyes were mismatched, the eye-light on the right held a full size, with the main color of dark blue, with yellow lining tracing the eye-lights, and a black core. The other eye was a small dot, with jus the consent of yellow. His eye sockets had blue tears painted on as the tears look like strings, they reached the chin till they stopped. His teeth was slitty colored.

Over all, the majority of Error's bones were black, withdraw the red legs, and that his fingertips were multi-colored.

His finger tips were, as noted, different then the rest, the odd ball out if you please. His palms were the usual black, but his finger tips then turned into a bright red, like his legs, and then at the tips, the color red vanished and was replaced by the color yellow.

quite odd color palette if you look at it too hard.

Error's clothing was a different story.

He wore a coat- like jacket, with the folds on two triangles near the top front. The coat help a yellow golden like lining to it, as it trimmed through the coat. The coat went down till his mid-thigh. The coats leaves had stitches on them as the black coat dimmed lighter to a dark blue at the ends. The stitches went around the sleeve at were the gradient starts.

Underneath the coat was a curl-neck sweater, with the same red color.

He wore long pants the held the same design as the coat sleeves. The right pant leg was all the way down, which was over the knee by a good 5 inches. The left pant leg was stitched to stay up, as it only stopped at the knee.

His shoe of choice is questionable, but he wore sandals, showing off his red colored legs and feet.

To top it off, he wore a dark blue scarf around his neck, as it curled around his neck, one side of the scarf was hanging in the front, while the other dangled on his back, reached above his knee bone.

Error observed Outertale's surroundings.

It's quite the odd choice for Nightmare to pick this place, out of all of the places they could've gone to, like Underfell, Mafiatale, but Error wasn't complaining.

not at all.

The star lights reflected off of Error's skull.

The darkness kinda hid Error pretty well besides his eyes, Nightmare on the other hand is literally darkness himself. He can blend aright in, how do you think he has too much information about his own brother and the multiverse?

As Error waited for his teammates to arrive, his thoughts started to ramble as he investigated the stay sky around him.

his mind could't straighten itself to just pick one thought by itself, so the brain started to brain storm different thoughts, as they all danced around Error's skull.

Different thoughts scattered around the ocean of thoughts, as they thrown themselves over board the ship of brain to mind.

'What are we planning?'

'Who'd fuck up their job today?'

'What does Nightmare have ins tore for us today?'

His ocean of thoughts was stormy. His mind started to twist and turn until his mind had picked out the perfect thought to stand by.

'Ink.'

Why Ink? Of all things he could of thought of,

'Why his worst enemy?'

Ink and Error wasn't always enemies, they used to be. . .quite close. They were friends once in their time. But neither of them knew how they became such enemies in the first place.

Was it because they kept undoing each other's work?

Was it because they got bored of each other?

This caused more confusion then he intended to have. His head felt like it was cracking underneath all the stress and confusion. His head pounded at the door of his skull.

'What if. . '

Error was pulled away from his thoughts when a crackling sound had appeared to his right.

His eye-lights landed on Horror and Killer. Horror had his usual clothing on.

Horror was like any sans, but only a few noticeable. . differences.

Horror had a huge chink of his skull missing to his top left. It looked like it was smashed. We never questioned it though, thinking it was a bad memory for him. Sometime see question if he had blood in his head, from where the cracks are showed some blood leaking out. His eyes had some sort of red bags hang from his eye sockets, as one of his eye-lights were gone, which was the one that was underneath the huge crack. The other eye-light showed a bright red light, with a black circle in the middle.

Horror's clothing was bloody and in some places tattered. His hoodie had the most of the blood on it. He wore normal clothing like classic sans. Blue hoodie, White pale sweater, basketball shorts, the whole package, just bloodied up.

The bloody skeleton always carried around his axe, he always cleaned the axe after some sort of attack that caused it to be dirtied, like. . .blood. Common theme for him.

Killer on the other hand was much cleaner, other then his eyes.

Killer held the same classic sans package of clothing. The only difference was that he had a glowing red target symbol in the top center of his 'stomach', and eyes.

Killer's eyes was the most noticeable thing out of everything. His eyes were pure black, like they looked like the void black, empty. He held no eye-lights. the only way to know if he's really looking at you is when he turns his head, which is sometimes rare when he turns his head to really look at you. Which was a creepy factor about him, because you never know when he's looking at you.

That wasn't the only thing about Killer's eyes. No.

Killer's eyes always leaked of that strange black liquid that was the same color of his eye sockets. Black. Pure black. The leaking only came from his eye sockets, as it always trailed down his skull, forever leaking.

Killer stood behind Horror, well not directly behind him, off center behind him.

"Hey." Horror broke the silence.

"Sup." Error recalled back to Horror, while Killer only waved his hand.

Killer has never been the on etc really speak to others, only when he needs to do so or he has information. SO when he speaks, it a few sentences and when its information or extremely important, he could talk for paragraphs.

The gang doesn't mind Killer's silence. The gang much preferred the silence more then anything.

"So we're waiting for the others?" Error nodded at horror's question before answering.

"Yeah, i'm going to bet that Cross will be at Nightmare's side like a loyal puppy or something."

"Heh, yeah. Cross is literally obsessed with Nightmare, and somehow Nightmare doesn't mind it- Maybe they're both obsessed with each other?" Horror theorized.

"How so? Gut feeling?" Error chuckled at his own joke.

"Eh, just a theory."

Killer just stood there, waiting for everyone else while Horror joined Error at the tree, just hanging there.

Soon Dust came and joined the group.

Dust was like everyone else, a sans, sans clothing. through his clothes had dust all over them, in his universe, he literally dusted everyone just to gain EXP to defeat his human, but the human came down. So he joined the group cause his universe was kinda dead.

Dust's eye-lights were filled with insanity. The colors just spoke out the word.

His left eye-light held the color of just red. One black circle stood int he middle, making the red seem like a ring. His right eye-light held more colors though. The right one wore the sam red color, but a bit bigger as in the middle of it was a light blue, neon hue to it, but still light.

Along with that was a small dot int he middle of the right eye-light. Is was extremely small, bust still noted.

Another thing about Dust was that he always wore his hood up upon his skull. We always just assumed that he liked not being recognized easily. So we never pointed it out.

Dust looked around Outertale until his eye-lights landed on the cliff.

Dust made his way over to the cliff and sat down.

Dust's legs dangled from the ledge, well more like floated.

His legs had less gravity since they weren't touching the planet's surface anymore, so they raised a bit.

Horror and Error were joking about he others and cliché book and movie plots while Killer was silent, they wouldn't be lying if they said he was antisocial.

Killer had decided to go on walk, as it seemed like Nightmare and Cross won't be joining them for a bit longer.

No one had noticed Killer leave the meeting area, as he wavered away from the group.

____//____//____

Killer had been walking for a while now, as he observed the nature of Outertale.

The stars were the only source of light as the light bounced around Killer. None of Outertale's characters were out in the area he was adventuring at the moment.

Trees surrounded him as he continued to walk, assuming he was walking into Outertale's Snowy woods.

The woods felt cold, the branches reaching out to Killer's shoulders as he walked round them. It was more difficult to see the space sky because of the trees that held many leafs, dressing the trees watching him.

It was harder to see as Killer continued. He didn't have such as good night vision as Nightmare did, so he repeatedly tripped over loos roots and rocks.

Killer had decided to head back to the meeting spot, as he figured the others found out that he had left.

But. . .

When he turned around. . .

___//___//___

Dust turned away from the beautiful sight of galaxies, as he found Horror and Error chatting, as well as Nightmare sat down near the two, as Cross sat down next to him, as they touched shoulders.

But the more Dust looked around, something felt. . . wrong.

"Where's Killer?" Dust pointed out, worry melted into he question.

Horror looked around as Error answered, "Wasn't he standing over there?"

Error pointed over where Killer was standing, just to find that there was only emptiness filled the space.

Error paused. Nightmare looked over to were Error pointed.

He was right to be silent.

Killer wasn't there.

"You have a point Dust. Where IS Killer?"

"He was just here a few moments ago. . ." Horror traveled off off his sentence.

"Well we shouldn't just stand here while one of our teammates are m missing and possibly DEAD." Nightmare snapped, Disliking the lifelessness of positions they were in.

"Well then nightmare. Were do YOU think Killer could've gone to?" Error responded to Nightmares comment.

"He could've gone on a walk. We all know Killer enjoys his quietness and adventuring." Cross pitted into the conversation.

"But he should've been back by now."

Horror walked over to where Killer was standing before he went missing. The ground wasn't perfectly dressed in lush grass, and the ground was slightly wet, like it was previously washed in water, trying to get more green grass in the area.

Horror took in more of the details in the ground, until he noticed. . .

Killer's shoe prints.

The prints int he soggy dirt was light, but was noticeable if you look hard enough.

The shoe prints led to the left, which was the way to Outertale's Snowy words.

"Guys. . . I think I know where Killer had left off."

The three skeletons looked over to the bloody one.

"Where?" Dust asked Horror, getting away from the cliff side as he stood up, walking over to Horror.

"To the snowy woods."

"Isn't that place extremely dark in this AU?"

"Yeah, i've been in there before. It was really hard to get out of without tripping and seeing light."

Horror kept looking out to were he said Killer had traveled.

"Well. . shouldn't we go and look for him?" Dust butted in.

"I think we should." Cross muttered.

Nightmare got up, as Error stopped leaning against the tree.

Cross followed quickly behind Nightmare, as the four skeletons started to follow Killer's trail.

____//____//____

Killer saw a door.

The door looked so out of place. Nothing holding it up, nothing behind it.

But that wasn't what threw Killer into suspicion.

The door look old, as it held a strange glow, like the glow of the moon. The door wore some coat of dust, like dust bunnies, as Killer touched the door's wood.

Curious killed the cat, and Killer took he bait.

Killer opened the door, expecting it to open up to a new room, but instead, it was just the woods again.

Killer stock his foot into the other side of the door, but felt, warm? The forest was cold, so why was his foot warm?

He then took his hand through the open space the door provided, while his foot stayed in as well.

The hand also got warm.

Why?

Killer took a big breath and placed his other foot through the door, pushing his body into the door as well.

Killer took in impact, as he fell onto something soft, but hat wasn't the thing that took Killer out. It was the force of how he entered. The force was strong, as he felt his skull pounded, screaming in pain at him.

He felt jaded as he fell into darkness.
