In the Seoul national university hospital,

A woman in her thirties enters a hospital room and hands Shin the goddess of fate a poster about the coming of doom. She claims to the Goddess that the God is angry, and the comets today were a bad omen. The goddess smiles and agrees to her that is when she sees Myul-mang standing in her hospital room's doorway and smirking at that woman.

  The woman handed the poster to Myul-Mang with a solemn expression, her eyes wide with fear as she whispered, "The world is ending." Myul-Mang accepted the poster with a bemused smirk, shaking his head in mock disbelief. "Humans," he muttered under his breath, his tone dripping with disdain. "Always so quick to jump to conclusions."

Once the woman had departed, Myul-Mang turned to the goddess Shin with a wry smile. "These humans are so dumb," he remarked dryly, his voice laced with amusement at their penchant for melodrama and hysteria.

Shin, seated calmly in her hospital bed, regarded Myul-Mang with a knowing look. With a gentle smile, she rose from her bed and crossed the room to water a potted plant, her movements graceful and deliberate. "Don't forget," she reminded him, her voice tinged with subtle authority, "I created you too, Myul-Mang."

Myul-mang laughs and sarcastically says "One of your dear humans or if i am to say flowers has finally wished for me to bring doom to the world instead of her personal gain , that means you lost Shin, I finally beat you at your own game"

Myul-mang then adds and says to Shin ( who is in a 20 year old korean girl's body) while she waters a plant pot in her room "If the garden disappears, there's no need for a gardener or butterfly". The goddess says to do as he pleases, and she'll do the same.

   Myul-mang scoffs at her nonchalance and asks her why does it have to be him , why is it always him that has lived for eternity and the goddess vaguely answers it is his fate.

(The Other Side of Life (삶의 이면) · Yoo Jong Hyun starts playing in the background when Myul-mang questions Shin about his existence.)

"Fate is cruel to me,"  Myul-mang utters. She proceeds to say fate is cruel to everyone and warns him he'll be punished if he does anything bad. "I'm already being punished," Myul-mang responds and vanishes and Shin looks at the plant pot and smiles "No one can escape fate , no one".

At dawn ,

We see Dong-kyung scrolling on her phone and suddenly a text pops up on her phone from her ex-boyfriend saying "you're not picking up my calls!! You will regret this". The ex-boyfriend sends her a picture of the life story web novel office indicating he is over there right now and she runs to the office as fast as she can and finds him protesting against her in the office with words written in bold letter on the poster

"TAK DONG-KYUNG IS A HOMEWRECKER"

She argues with him saying "Let's talk about this outside...". He still doesn't move and starts screaming , seeing how the ex-boyfriend is behaving , Joo-ik , the leader if the editorial team steps in between.

The ex-boyfriend approaches Joo-ik and tries to get Dong-kyung fired but instead Joo-ik grabs his collar and roughly shoves him out the door, knocking him to the ground along with his posters and Joo-ik then says to Tak Dong-kyung and the other girls "Don't just open the doors for anyone" , Just at that moment , the wife comes and twists her husband's ear and takes him away.

They all get back to work , Jo Ye-ji sighs and tells the interns to not type loudly, the interns denies her saying it isn't them and Ye-ji looks at Dong-kyung and realizes she is the one typing loudly in anger of her ex-boyfriend.

 Tak Dong-kyung entered Joo-ik's office with a resignation letter in hand. "I'm sorry, Joo-ik," she said softly, handing it over. But Joo-ik shook his head. "I can't process this," he explained. "You'll have to wait for CEO Park to return from his trip to Maldives.He went with his girlfriend"  Dong-kyung's frustration grew at the news. 

"Maldives?" she exclaimed."He went on a trip to Maldives?" 

Joo-ik nodded, offering an apologetic shrug. "Yes, I'm afraid so," he confirmed. With a heavy heart, Dong-kyung left the office and returned to her editing duties, feeling trapped by circumstances beyond her control.

  After Dong-kyung's shift was over she opens her phone and sees on instagram a post of her ceo with his girlfriend in maldives in the caption it was written "I may be a CEO but today I am a man here for my woman" , she reluctantly likes his post seeing that the other employees like it and sighs and calls him a bastard.

Dong-kyung then finds herself on the same street where she had narrowly avoided being run over by a white truck before, her memory starts flashing back to the moment when Myul Mang intervened, freezing the time and saving her from a tragic fate.

Dong-kyung's heart begins to race, her legs trembling uncontrollably as she hesitates to take another step forward.

Suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, Myul-Mang appears and gently takes hold of her hand, declaring "It's time to charge the bracelet."

Relief flooded through Dong-kyung as she nodded in agreement, a sense of gratitude swelling within her. Despite the uncertainty of the situation, she couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope knowing that Myul-Mang was by her side. With his guidance, perhaps she could navigate the challenges ahead and find a way to reclaim control over her destiny.
