Dong-kyung is relieved it was all a dream. That is, until she finds Myul-mang's dirty shoe prints on her floor. She gets to the subway station where Myul-mang pops up around every corner and offers to make her dying days painless and even grant her a wish.

She ignores him and gets on the crowded subway , as she was in the full subway a man in the crowd unintentionally steps on her foot and she sighs heavily and whispers to herself "Why just why does everyone need to go to work today? I seriously wish this subway was empty"

The train passes through a tunnel and goes completely dark and when it reaches the other end , Dong-kyung was standing alone with Myul-mang by her side.

(Doom (멸망) · SHIN MINYONG starts playing in the background when Myul-mang empties the subway for Dong-kyung)

"See?" He says, "You want me to fulfill your wish." The lights flicker, and the subway is full of people again. She looks for him but can't find him in the crowd and gives up after a while.

"Am I going crazy?" she whispered to herself, her voice barely audible over the din of the crowd. The thought lingered in the back of her mind like a persistent echo, casting a shadow of uncertainty over her thoughts.

  With trembling hands, she clutched at the strap of her bag, her pulse quickening with each passing moment. The flickering lights overhead seemed to mock her, their erratic dance adding to the sense of unreality that enveloped her.

At work, Dong-kyung learns from her editing colleague Jo Ye-ji that CEO Park fought with his girlfriend the previous day which made him extra touchy. She begs Dong-kyung not to quit and tells her to rethink her decision and says friendly "if you leave Tak , we will have all suffer even you yourself know that , you're the best of all of us" , Dong-kyung smiles shyly at her compliment while drinking her coffee with a slight blush on her cheeks.

They're interrupted by Kim Da-in , the intern of "Life story web novel company" , she informs Dong-kyung that a writer named Siberia is here for a meeting. And Dong-kyung starts to walk to the guest area and as she opens the door she finds Myul-mang sitting inside sipping on an iced americano masquerading as Siberia her client.

She shuts the door and asks Jo Ye-ji and Kim Da-in whether he is siberia and they nod and point at him saying "There you go , there he is" as Myul-mang opens the door and peeks with a big smirk on his face.

Jo Ye-ji even says out loud "Look at him he is so handsome, you're lucky he is your client"

Dong-kyung smiles at the girls and hurriedly pushes Myul-mang inside and closes the door and office shutters and yells at him inside "Are you a stalker or an american? Choose one at least."

He laughs and asks her "Why leave out the kimbap seller and doctor?"

She asks him annoyingly as to what he did for her colleagues to act all bewitched like that. Myul-mang emphasizes with a smirk whilst still drinking his chilled americano that they aren't acting bewitched , they are really bewitched by him.

She frowns and says in her mind "This is insane! Or am I going freaking insane?"

He chuckles and keeps his drink down on the table and says "Don't worry you're not losing your sanity." Her ears peaked and she turned her eyes to him, Myul-mang says "That siberia guy , your client he kind of lost his way , I needed some time."

She asks him how did he know but he misunderstands her question and tells "He is the one who made the Siberia guy lose his way on the google maps." She nods in denial and asks him "How the hell did you know what I was just thinking"

He confesses that he can hear people thoughts , She's naturally bothered by the fact he can hear her thoughts, so he then again starts to encourage her to enter into a contract with him. He says to make her feel at ease that doesn't listen to the thoughts of his clients.

He asks her "I really am curious though , you hate your CEO and this place too, so why do you still work here? Should I make your CEO disappear for you? I can do it if you wish for it"

She widens her eyes like a frog and gasps and screams "Don't read my mind!". Dong-kyung leaves in a huff, but she can't escape the ever-present Myul-mang. He then proceeds to thank her colleagues for the coffee as he leaves and both the girls blush a little and he snaps his fingers and frees them from his control and they focus on their editing.

When Dong-kyung gets to a crosswalk, she sees him waiting on the opposite side of the road.

She starts narrating in her mind

"Being given months to live has changed nothing.

What isn't visible to the eye can't scare us.

Both death and doom only become real when it becomes visible. And pain is reality."

Right at the end of her narration , Dong-kyung is hit by a terrible headache and drops in the middle of the road.

The crossing light changes to red as she sits in the crosswalk cradling her head. As cars swerve around her, a distracted driver in a white truck heads straight toward her, oblivious to her presence.

Tak Dong-kyung says to herself "Should I move or just embrace death."

Suddenly right before the white truck was about to hit her , Time pauses. Dong-kyung looks around in amazement, and her eyes land on Myul-mang still standing without moving an inch on the opposite side.

(Breaking Down · Ailee - Doom at Your Service (Original Television Soundtrack) starts playing in the background when the time freezes and Myul-mang stands and looks at Dong-kyung.)
