Tak Dong-kyung sits at the Bus stop googling about her illness , she leaves out a sigh as she started reading about it and murmurs the symptoms to herself "Increased sleepiness , fatigue......seizures , labored breathing , decreased appetite" , she then proceeds to laugh a little loudly while the people walking beside her at the Bus stop think that she is a crazy person. A nervous giggle bubbles up from deep within her, escaping her lips in a burst of unbridled hysteria.

The people bustling around her at the bus stop cast wary glances in her direction, their eyes filled with a mixture of concern and unease. But Dong-kyung remains oblivious to their stares, lost in her own world of anxiety and fear. Little does she know, the meeting with her boyfriend will only serve to plunge her deeper into the tangled web of uncertainty and despair.

The next thing we know, a pregnant woman throws a glass of water at Dong-kyung's face in a café where she was supposed to meet her so-called boyfriend.

Dong-kyung breathes in trying to calm herself despite today's events and even this latest catastrophe. The pregnant woman claims that Dong-kyung was dating her husband and that he was having an affair, Dong-kyung eyes widened and she starts explaining that she had no idea he was married. His wife refused and was not believing a word that she said and continues to cause a scene while everyone in the café watches.

Dong-kyung finally loses her cool and exasperatedly asks "If you are his wife , then who do I get to unleash my anger on." Maintaining an impressive amount of control and poise, Dong-kyung takes a deep breath before continuing that She's willing to be the villain in this story because she understands the wife needs someone to blame.

She says to the wife "Just convince yourself that your kind, naive husband fell for a damned witch like me and almost ruined everything".

Dong-kyung genuinely wishes her a happy life with that bastard of a husband , both for the wife's and the baby's sake.

Before she could leave and get out of the café , the wife started having abdominal pain and she started screaming for help. Dong-kyung without a second thought rushed to her and took the wife to the hospital. Dong-kyung signed the papers , she hesitated at first but brushed her hesitation away to serve as her guardian until her husband arrived.

After 2 hours,

The nurse comes to an anxiously waiting Dong-kyung to tell her that the wife is now fine and things like this can happen if the woman is under stress and Dong-kyung shouldn't worry. The woman suddenly comes out of the room and says calmly "We're not done yet". Instead of yelling at Dong-kyung , she apologizes to her for causing a scene at the café and admits to her that Dong-kyung was right she needed someone to blame because of her cheating husband.

Dong-kyung says "I meant every word that I said in the café and I don't want you to take stress so you can blame me and live happily".

She then adds up saying that she is dying in 3 months , she says " I was wondering who was going to be the first person I was going to break this news to and little did I know it would be someone like you in this kind of situation but then again , I didn't know that I am going to die , either " .The woman proceeds to ask whether she really is going to die , Dong-kyung nods her head and smiles at her and wishes the wife a good life and tells her to not worry about her and that she is fine, Dong-kyung leaves the hospital room.

At work in Life Story Ceo's office,

Dong-kyung gets yelled at by CEO Park for being late. He asks "Do you work for fun?" , She told him that she had gone to the hospital because she wasn't feeling well. She apologizes and he starts ranting to her face about how women always complain and get sick when it comes to work

Now to make matters way worse for Dong-kyung , Her encounter with the wife in the café is trending online complete with the entire video. CEO Park sees it and plays it loud enough for the whole office to hear, asking if it is Dong-kyung.

She denies it's her but he keeps on pressing that it is her, so she mutes the video. When he yells like she's the one being rude, Dong-kyung finally loses it and yells at him " So what if it is me? What are you going to do about it? " . Everyone's eyes stare at Dong-kyung in shock and she shouts that she is taking one of her meager vacation days and proceeds to marches out of the office and the CEO grips his chair with his body trembling since she screamed at him.

As Tak Dong-kyung faces scrutiny from the CEO, Cha Joo-ik, the editorial team leader, steps forward in her defense. "Sir," he begins, his tone respectful yet firm, "Tak Dong-kyung assures us that the issue isn't as severe as it seems. If she says it's not a problem, then I trust her..it isn't a problem."

The CEO narrows his eyes, his skepticism palpable. "And why should we take her word for it?" he retorts sharply, his voice dripping with disdain. "She's just a junior employee, hardly qualified to make such assurances."

Joo-ik bristles at the CEO's dismissive tone, but he maintains his composure. "With all due respect, sir," he counters, his voice steady, "Dong-kyung has proven herself to be reliable and competent in her work. I believe we should give her the benefit of the doubt."

The CEO's expression remains cold and unyielding, but after a tense moment of silence, he begrudgingly concedes. "Fine," he grumbles, "but if this blows up in our faces, it's on your head, Joo-ik."
