I was quickly getting ready to dash out the door to the DonutHouse, a small cafe/dinner in the center of town, I had a lunch meeting to get too. I called Jacquelyn on my cell phone.

"Hey Hansel, how are you doing?" Jacquelyn's familiar perkiness rang from the speakers of my phone.

"Pretty good, thanks. Listen, I'm in a bit of a hurry but I was wondering if you could do something for me?" I asked.

"Sure, anything for my favorite brother," she replied.

"Great, I need you to investigate the phrase 'Bad Rabbit', I think we might have found a lead."

"I can do that,"

"Awesome, Thank-you! I have to run, bye!"

"Cya later Hansel."

I hung up, grabbed my wallet and flew out the door, fortunately for me, I don't live too far from downtown Summer Valley, so I could walk there in about 10 minutes.

"Hey Brenton!" a voice exclaimed, "Over here!" I turned to see a redhead girl, about my age, walking towards me.

"Um, I apologize, I don't think we've met?" I said carefully, sometimes a bit too conscious about how other may react to what I say.

"Oh, thats strange, well I'm Leah, Leah Cook, it's nice to meet you." She said smiling.

"It's very nice to meet you too, if you'll excuse me though I have a lunch meeting I have to get to." I replied.

"Oh no problem, I'm sure I'll see you around?"

"Probably, talk to you later." I hurried off, that was strange, I couldn't place that girl anywhere, yet she seemed pretty insistent that I had met her.

As soon as I crossed through the threshold into the DonutHouse, I felt the stares upon me. Turns out it was actually just one stare, Ty had gotten there early as usual, and was waiting impatiently for all of us. It just so happened that Tracy, Marissa, and Alicia were all right behind me.

"So, now that everyone is here, let's all have lunch," Ty said as a sandwich came out from the kitchen and was placed in front of him.

"So you ordered without us? Sheesh Ty." Marissa said.

The waitress just smiled, "So Ty tells me you're investigating Lili's death, I remember her, she was a regular, would come get her latte every day. Oh well, anyway, what can I get you all?"

"Actually, that latte sounds pretty good," I said, which was met by confused stares, "I'm not that hungry.

"Sounds good, and for you?" She turned to Tracy. She continued around the table until everyone's orders had been taken. "Alright, that should be out in about 5 minutes,"

"So, anyone have anything new on Lili's case?" Alicia asked.

"Well, I put Jacquelyn on figuring out what Bad Rabbit meant." I responded. I was surprised, they responded with groans, "Sure, she can be a bit odd sometimes, but I think she can be of help."

We sat in silence, because truth be told we really hadn't found out anything new relating to Lili's death. Ty chewed surprisingly loudly, making everything a bit more uncomfortable. What was supposed to be a productive lunch meeting was really more of an awkward one.

"Alright, one latte," we were saved by the waitress bringing food. I nodded thanks to her and grabbed it, I looked down at the design in the foam to see two letters, 'L.C.'. I looked up at the waitress who winked at me and then disappeared back into the kitchen.

Suddenly Ty broke out in a coughing fit, "Ty, are you ok?" Marissa asked. He continued coughing, we all rushed over to try and help him. Suddenly, his coughing stopped and he collapsed in his chair.
