Monday June 6th 2016: Afternoon

We had all hopped in Tracy's van and quickly began driving around town looking for a churro truck.  It was then that Alicia brought up a good point, one that none of us had really thought of before we scurried to find the truck.

"Wait, seriously though, kidnapping a child in a churro van? What's wrong with that picture?" Alicia commented, "It just isn't logical,"

"Unless you want to be found," Ty commented all matter-a-factly.

My eyes widened as the very churro truck, driving on the wrong side of the road was barreling straight towards us, "Tracy, look out!"

The next two seconds seemed to happen in an instant, I almost didn't know what happened it was so sudden.  We swerved to avoid the truck, but after going past us, it stopped and the driver jumped out and ran away.

"Everyone ok?" Marissa asked, "No injuries, broken bones, trauma?"

Alicia, being headstrong as she always is, bolted out of the van straight to the truck, with the rest of us not far behind.  She threw open the back doors of the truck, what we found there surprised even Ty.

"Corrina!" we all said in what I would have like to be unison, but we all know that it probably wasn't.  Our friend was tied up and gagged, next to her sat Lili's little sister Kim, who was also constrained in the same fashion.  Alicia quickly had them both untied.

"Thank god you guys are here, this hooded man hijacked the churro truck!" Corrina exclaimed.

"Mind if I ask, what exactly were you doing in this churro truck?" Colin asked curiously.

"It's... my job," she mumbled.  We all had to laugh a bit at that one, one of our friends was selling little kids churros...

"Hey guys looks at this!" Tracy yelled, she held up a slip of paper that she had found beneath the door where the driver had just jumped out of.

"Its the cashier's copy of a receipt," Ty deduced, "I never knew that they actually kept these things."

"But look," Marissa said, "It matches the date on the other receipt we found in the woods.  And what does that writing say? Bad Rabbit?""But would could that mean?" I thought to myself out loud.

Turns out Alicia had already called the police, and we could hear the sirens rolling through the hills coming towards us.  We ending up spending a couple hours at that scene being questioned.  Fortunately no one was harmed, and Kim was able to get back to her family without any other problems.  We all decided that we definitely needed to meet for lunch on Tuesday, and that I would begining doing some internet scouting for this "Bad Wolf".  Tracy volunteered to go interview Lili's parents to see if they had any helpful information.

What confuses me though, is the fact that it really did seem like whoever the driver was wanted to get caught.  Why would he or she stop for us?  I guess there are some things we may never figure out...
