Story 1:Distraction

Chapter 1:First day

Chutaro Kumo was having a troubled night. Tomorrow was his first day at school and just like a normal 12 year old boy he was doubting himself, all after all he wasn't cool like his aniki(big brother), he wasn't very strong either but he was a Kumo and Kumos never give up or back down...right? So, how would it go? Aniki nor Soranii would be there, he would be kinda...alone, the other kids might not like him and bully him for not having parents, he might not be the best student either, maybe, just maybe, he should stay at home tomorrow like always. But he can't, so he will give it his best like Kumos do,always.

And so, begins our story, with a trobled Chutaro having a headache because of using his brain.And so, as the third son thought of his troubles,sleep came slowly and caught him off guard, he(sleep) quickly invaded every single area of Chutaro's brain and made it surrender to rest....

Light entered the room after going through the thin barrier of the japanese paper doors, it made the floor glow and kissed the third son on the cheek. It gently caressed his face, but lost its shining upon facing a little sun, such as the young man.Lips curved into a cute, gentle and small smile, which was smiling iself for being put into such a face. Too bad that didn't last much.

"Chutaro, wake up!" Shirasu said like he usually did each morning, his voice sweet like that of a mother. (I hate you, Shirasu!!!!! Still you smile and speak softly, so I have to describe you like you are.) "Breakfast is ready!"

But getting no answer Shirasu opened the sliding paper door to find the cute Chutaro sleeping soundly in his futon. His smiling, sleepy face was glowing even brighter with this morning's unexpected light.

And so Shirasu tried it again.

"Chutaro wake up, sleepyhead!"he said it with a slightly louder voice but it worked well since the third son started to move a little, rrolled some times and then woke up.

Shirasu left the room and left Chutaro to himself. The young male looked at the direction from where light was being poured into his room like it was a glass. Could it be sunlight? But, isn't it always cloudy in Omi?

As he was beggining to wonder, another thought was about to cut this one off.

Rubbing his two little forehead gems, he yawned and stretched. And then, after remembering what how important today was, his sleepiness disappeared into thin air. The two coal black jewels were suddenly opened wide in shock and his concern and nervousity could be read all over his face.

It was his first day at school!!!!!!

He groaned (which is actually pretty rare but there are times that a Chuta has gotta do, what a Chuta has got to do) and then slowly got out of his futon.

The whole morning it was like his unstoppable energy, which came from unknown resources, was drawned out of him completely. He was so quiet and looked kinda depressed. Even when he said 'Bye' to his aniki, he still was lifeless. He even asked Soramaru to come to school too but of course he didn't, so Chutaro had to walk school all by himself.

He never thought that maybe he should have kept his head a little bit upper and not so down. But that actually turned for good...

|Chutaro's POV|

Today is my first day at school. I wonder how will it all go? But I'm a Kumo, and a Kumo never ever gives up or stops trying. Never!

|Haruka's POV|

Today is my first day at school. I wonder how will it go. Will nee-san(big sister) be alright by her own? But I'm a Tsukikage, and a Tsukikage never ever loses a fight! Never! I have to win this challenge!

With these thoughts crossing their minds, the twelve years olds finally raised their heads with a victory smile upon their faces aaaaand...bumped into each other.

"Ouch," the first one to react was Haruka. But quickly she said, "It was all my fault. Sorry!"

"No, it was definitely my fault. I was keeping my head down the whole time," Chutaro said with a very sad, guilty face but then quickly added, 'How can I make up for it, pretty lady?', with sparkles in his eyes, using the most gentlemanlikeish voice he could muster and with pride reflected on the two coal black jewels.

Haruka blushed a little but managed to quickly maintain herself and said,"I'm Tsukikage Haruka. Nice to meet you!!!"

"I'm Kumo Chutaro! Nice to meet you, too!!!"

With that said they attempted to move but bumped again into each other.

"So, as fate can't possibly accept our parting, where are you heading to, Haruka-chan? I'm going to school. It's my very first day!" Chutaro was smiling like he always did, with his whole face glowing from energy.

"Well, isn't school this way?" Haruka pointed to the road that lay ahead of her with a really confused face.

"Waaaaaaaaaaaaait!!!!!!!! Naniiiiiiiiiii??????(Whaaaaaaat?)" his smile and glowing disappearing. "You mean I was going the wrong way, the whole time? Thank God we bumped into each other, otherwise I'd be in really big trouble."
he said this with extreme speed.

"Huh, well, I guess so. You can come with me if you want to."the girl said with a not-so-sure look on her face.

|Haruka's POV|

What's with this idiot? Not only did he confused the way to school, he also keeps calling me Haruka-chan. Is he lying about going to school? Fate? I feel kinda sorry for him anyway. He seems really troubled, even though he seems really energetic and talkative. What may his burdens and secrets be?
