Like a Monkey
You were walking down the streets of New York. Surprisingly, today's been a good day. You got promoted to a new ladder in your job, your high school career is ending in all A's. It was a hard year, and it's bad enough that you think you're going crazy with the punch's you hear at night. After all, You're you, and who know's what could be going on in this mind of yours. Rumors are is that two clan's are battling over the playing field. Did you believe the rumors? Of corse NOT. Ninja's are silly. Only thing's in this town are Thugs, drugs, and theft. Though, those thing's never happen to you. You're one of those lucky go happy people, who always seem to be in the right place in the right time. You're never wrong as your parents put it."Mom! I'm home!" Mom looked good today, Of corse setting an example for me in my (F/C/) shirt, and always in jeans. My long hair tied into a ponytail, sometimes set down for special occasions. She was in a long Silver Dress, and her brown hair down with high heels. "Welcome home, sweet heart!" "Mom, where's dad?" "He's... out.." "Oh.. Is he gonna be home soon?" "Don't know sweet heart." Those are the words you've been hearing every day. Late at night arguing. "Once you're in the dragons, you're in it for life sweet heart." "Why did dad take up the job? It's just not fair." "I know sweetie, I know." "Dad's involved in too much gang violence." "I know I know, I can't do anything about it no matter how much I try." You glared, crossing your arms. "Maybe you should've stopped him?" After that, you turned on your heel, walking upstairs and slamming the door. Flopping down on your bed, you groaned, running a hand through your hair. Flipping through the TV stations, you finally found one. Pumping your fist in triumph, you pulled the blacker up covering your face, hearing the door slam shut and a car engine roar. Throwing the blacket to the side, you ran to the window, pulling back the curtins. Your dad was off again. Apparently he just got back, and left once again. Smirking, you opened up the window, deciding to follow. A few minutes later, he came to stop in an ally way, getting out a box. "Well?" You didn't recognize that voice, and cocked your head in thought. "I got the money." He put the case on the floor, pushing it to them. The unknown man opened the case, confirming it to his men with a nod. "Nice doing business with you, here's the supplies." He opened up his truck to show a variety of weapons. "Hm, so hard to choose." Dad tilted his head, studying the weapons, and grinned. "Which one's the most dangerous and can kill the turtles?" The man grinned, and pointed to a weapon. Sadly, you weren't too familiar with the weapons, so you had absolutely no idea which gun that is. "This one will do the job. Those pesky turtles have been stopping the crime spree's lately, and everyone's too scared to buy. They need to be dealt with." Dad nodded, checking out the gun. "Agreed. You think they'll take down shredder?" The man snorted, tilting his head. "Fat chance. They'd need years of training." Dad nodded, and cocked it. "Does it have a kick?" The man smiled. "What good gun doesn't?" Dad nodded, shutting the truck with the gun in hand. "I think I'll take this one. Hopefully it'll get rid of the turtles." "Watch out for the blue one, he's the leader. The red ones easy to get angry, use that to your advantage. The orange one seems to be the favored one of the group, so get him on gun point the others will surrender easily." "And the purple one?" "He has a stick. Whack." The man made a motion that looked like hitting someone with an stick, and my dad grinned. "Good, so no trouble at all." The man shook his finger. "Don't underestimate the turtles. They've overcome many things. Some say they traveled back in time once the goings got tough." Dad nodded, hopped in the car driving off.Sneaking back into your window with no trouble at all... Okay, you lied. It's much more worse then it was to get out. Sighing, you hung off the branch like a monkey, swinging to get in the house. Smirking in victory, you finally made it and opened your window. Flopping on your bed, you sighed, giving up to sleep completely.
