Normally, Donnie wouldn't react to it, but given the fact that he was the one who ordered the pizza, he couldn't help not to be suspicious, "What you got there?" he asked pointing over the pizza box, waiting for Mikey to finish on chewing, "Pizza, duh! Thanks for ordering it Donnie, I really was hungry." Mikey smiled innocently, but Donnie knew there was nothing innocent behind the smile of his, "How dare you- that was meant for me and-" "You and Marina huh? Forget about it Donnie, this pizza is ours." Raph teased, reaching out for the last slice, but Donnie couldn't let that happen, "Ugh! Give it to me!" having enough of his annoying brothers and jumped to tackle both of them. Surprisingly, his plan worked as the three soon ended up in the struggling pile of turtles, fighting over last pizza slice, Donnie shouting the most out of them, "You won't ruin this for me!" he complained, trying to wrestle alone against the two as Mikey screamed for his dear life, his screams entertaining Marina who was just walking inside of the lair, "Ruin what? You guys really seem to have a lot of fun, huh?" she asked curiously, seeing the three turtles fighting to remain their balance as Mikey and Raph struggled to keep pizza out of tallest turtle's reach, but it was easier said than done until Marina's voice attracted all of their attention. The female in blue shirt stood by the entrance smiling softly, her pretty appearance causing Donnie to swing his arm up in attempt to greet her, "Ah- Marina! H-Hi- I- I I mean, Hey-!" however, it only ended up in catastrophe as he accidentally kicked off the pizza box from Mikey's hands, the last slice ending up on top of Donnie's head. Cheese melted down his forehead, Donnie looking like king of melting cheese himself to what Raph and Mikey ended up rolling their shells over along with Marina who covered her mouth to hush her giggles, finding Donnie's face simply precious and rather cheesy, "Hey Donnie, what's going on here?" she smiled back, still confused of what was going on and her confusion only grew bigger when hearing Leo's shouting while chasing after Lily,

"Lily, I'm not playing these games! Come back here!" 

              "Catch me if you can, slow turtle!"
The leader ordered, but Lily didn't seem to listen. She just ran right pass Marina and jumped across the stairs to run away from Leo, who didn't notice that Marina came. Blue masked ninja swung over in last moment not to crash into her, accidently bumped Marina with back of his shell as he jumped over her which caused them both to stumble over and while Leo manage to keep his balance, Marina wasn't as skilled, tripping over. Luckily, instead of meeting with the floor, Marina got pushed right into Donnie, who tried to help her keep balance, but two just ended up tripping over thanks to Leo's fault – with Marina on top of Donnie

"Woah- Are you okay?" Donnie asked worried after the impact. His face quickly turned into 50 shades of red when he realized of how close two were to each other and that cheese was still melting all over his face do to the heat of his blushing. He just wished to hide into his shell and never come out, but Marina only laughed, despite her own blushing, "Wow nice catch Donnie, pretty cheesy line for a hero, don't you think?" she asked within a giggle, it being the sweetest sound that Donnie's ears ever heard as the two managed to somehow get up in sitting position, Marina still laughing over silly accident and Donnie's cheesy face expression, literally being full of cheese, "I'm fine, thanks to you. I owe you one. How about I order another pizza with extra cheese, you sure would like one, wouldn't you?" Marina's soft smile soon turned in to a sassy smirk, as if Donnie's embarrassment wasn't enough, Marina was just adding the oil to the flames. Yet, Donnie knew she was simply being kind so the turtle returned the smile with a nod, "Y-yeah, pizza with cheese sounds great- as soon as I get this cheese off my face." He laughed awkwardly, calling out for more trouble since Mikey heard him loud and clear, having water balloon ready.

"I can take care of that!"    "OH NO- You won't!"

Jumping into rescue, Lily tackled Mikey before the youngest turtle could properly aim at Donnie's face, but the balloon still flew off love-birds way while the chaotic due was rolling over the floor. Fortunately, Leo was the brave hero when it came to quick thinking. Whoever said that turtles were slow was completely wrong since Leo was fast enough to run by and push Raph right in the front. He ended up being the turtle shield to protect both Donnie and Marina to get caught by Mikey's wet prank that soaked Raph's face completely. It wasn't wet for as long, the hotheaded turtle getting so angry that a fume could be seen from madness,

           "MIKEEEY!!! YOU'RE SO DEAD!"

"RAPH BRO CHILL- I WASN'T AIMING YOU AAAAAH HELP!" 

Screaming from top of their lungs, Mikey was got up after his little wrestle with Lily, to run for his dear life while Raph was chasing after him, furious that he ended up being splashed instead of Donnie, who they were originally aiming at. With Raph's short temper and mad anger, it was clear that their little chase will last for quite a while so Leo and Lily knew they did good job in getting rid of the two who tried to spoil Donnie's and Marina's little date. Thought...the date didn't seem to goas smooth since Donnie's face was a mess, both metaphorically and literally which made it clear why he seemed to be drowning in embarrassment in front of his crush, yet Marina's kind heart was thereto jump in rescue and be hero of the story. She wasn't suspecting much of what was actually happening, her sweet thoughts thinking that brothers just had one of those crazy days that Donnie got caught in the middle off. "C'mon Donnie, smile for me." Marina was still giggling from joy of silly accidents, yet was enough to gently take Donnie's hand, leading him over bathroom, "Let me help you wash that cheese off your sweet little face and we can take a nice cup of cocoa to calm you down okay?" she suggested as Donnie only nodded, still blushing like crazy.

 Did Marina just said that his face was sweet??!

Watching the two leave, Leo smiled proudly that he managed to save the day in a way and turned over Lily. He offered her a hand to help her up from the floor, raising an eyebrow, "You stole my comic on purpose to make me chase after, didn't you?" "It was the only way to make you follow my lead." Lily teased back, but Leo wasn't as shy to get flustered, rather opposite pulling Lily up as he gently hold her hand,

"Oh really? You think you can lead this mission better than me?"

His smirk was Lily's weak spot, but female didn't let herself get caught off the guard, only smirked back to match Leo's playful vibe.

 "Watch me!"

Show of how dangerous she can be, Lily twisted Leo's hand and pulled him over kitchen. Marina's suggestion of them drinking cocoa afterwards gave Lily sweet but crazy idea, "Now come, we have lot of work to do."
"Ouch- I'm coming- I didn't mean you literally take my place." Leo huffed, but followed lily into kitchen nonetheless, letting her take a lead.

Only this time.

"So what's the plan, leader?" rolling his blue eyes, Leo couldn't believe he actually agreed on being a follower, but unlike him, Lily actually had a plan so he listened to her carefully. He as well watched as the female served the pizza with extra cheese that Marina ordered and set two cups of hot chocolate next to each other, serving a perfect little date for two to enjoy in, "Here, since Raph and Mikey almost ruined whole thing, I thought two of us can still save things by setting this up. I mean what's better way to spend the evening rather than drinking hot chocolate and eating pizza in dark surrounded by candles, which speaking off, can you light them up please? We need to set the atmosphere." Lily asked to what Leo nodded, not needing to be a genius to figure out blonde's plans doing as he was told. The lights were soon off, the only vivid light coming from slow burning candles over the kitchen counters while in the middle of the table were two cups and pizza. Sweet smells of food and soft lavender candles soon filled the room and made it much brighter, giving the calm atmosphere that even Leo and Lily felt, standing in the middle of the room. "Woah, this really was a great idea." "Told you I can lead better than you." Lily chuckled at Leo's amazement, which soon turned into eye roll of leader's amusement, "Don't get too cocky, we still have to go before they- oh sweet space heroes-" hearing gentle Marina's and Donnie's footsteps approaching the kitchen, Leo cursed underneath his breath knowing they were too late to get out of kitchen without being seen. 

In panic, he grabbed Lily over waist and picked her up. Being caught off guard, Lily nearly screamed once her feet left the floor, but Leo quickly covered her mouth to be quiet after he jumped up to hide from all views. Using one hand he was holding onto pipes that were hanging from the ceiling and used another to keep Lily close while two were thankful for the dark surrounding them, being hidden in it while hanging from the ceiling and spying down two teens who entered the kitchen.

"Woah Donnie...you did all of this?"

Marina asked amazed. Smile was all over her sweet lips as she felt special when entering the low lightened kitchen that was smelling so good – it felt relaxing just to get away from all the chaos that just happened recently. "You really put a lot of effort just to call me over- I didn't know you had this special occasion..." she said, shyly blushing since she still didn't know of Donnie's true reason of invite since turtle himself was both confused and suspicious of how their kitchen suddenly looked so...romantic...

Was this another trap? Another prank?

Donnie hoped not and knew from muffed screams coming from main room that Raph was still changing Mikey so they didn't have time to arrange another prank. That's why Donnie tried to relax and follow the lead of whatever was happening around them, taking credit for such lovely atmosphere, "Oh y-yeah, I did this, heh. I mean- I wanted for this to be special because um...there is something important that I have to tell you, but um-" gulping nervously, Donnie wanted to be as polite, pulling chair for Marina to sit over, light from the candles illuminating his dorky gap tooth that his smile revealed, "Ladies first." "Oh what a gentleman," Marina smiled, sitting over with curious look upon her face, 

"What is it that you wanted to talk about?"

 "Well you see- I wanted to thank you for helping me wash up my face from the cheese...and sorry for my brothers- they know to- ugh be really annoying well- most of the time." Donnie said in slight annoyance. The whole day has been going great until Mikey figured out about his little secret that might not be a secret anymore, given the fact that everyone knew it and Mikey and Raph wanted to spoil it. It didn't give much courage to Donnie to actually say it, no matter the atmosphere, he was really nervous what Marina could notice underneath the low candle light that illuminated Donnie's face. His reddish eyes being exact same shade as his cheeks, putting Raph's mask to shame when they met with Marina's. Donnie could feel himself drowning in the beauty of those baby blues – barely reaching for air as the tension overcame turtles body, his bottom lip shaking anxiously from all the shame that happened to him in front of his crush, causing Donnie to look away.

He felt like such a wimp for not being able to even come up with anything to say even though he could talk about her for hours.

His strange behavior didn't go unnoticed by Marina, who got worried and figured something really must be bothering Donnie deeply and she wanted to help him the same way he helped her, countless times, "Hey Donatello, look at me." She rarely used his full name, it immediately catching Donnie's attention as female took the chance to gently stroke of turtles cheek to turn his head to face her fully, their eyes meeting underneath the candle light. There was a moment of silence, heat of Donnie's cheek getting higher from Marina's soft gentle touch, but she only gave a sweet smile, feeling Donnie's blush just by gently touching him, her voice calming him down, "You don't have to apologize for anything, I know your brothers can be silly at times. It's nothing to be ashamed off, you helped me many times before I want to be here for you too, cause that's what friends do and I want you to tell me whatever is bothering you, I'll do my best to help, I promise..." she said, her choice of words hitting Donnie like a truck, yet he smiled to hide the sadness, Marina not giving up from helping a turtle in need.

"You can trust me Donnie, I care about you."

"Well what I wanted to ask is..." Donnie finally spoke, bringing cup closer to his lips to take a sip of hot beverage, before odd cracking sound was heard coming from the ceiling, "Do you hear that?"
 Timing couldn't be worse than now, the metal pipe that Leo has been holding on broke, causing both turtle and female to fall on the table right before Marina's and Donnie's eyes. Being in the dark, teens screamed from top of his lungs, startled to near death as Marina jumped out the chair. Donnie would jump in front of her to protect her, but today really wasn't his day as when Leo and Lily had fallen, the fear caused Donnie to drop the cup and spill the hot chocolate all over his shell and sensitive lips – To make things worse, since Leo broke off the pipe, the water started poring down the kitchen in size of rain drop but spread quickly so it soaked up all four of them within seconds and it officially ruined Donnie's whole day. Feeling the sore pain of burned lips while's sewers rain' poured over them, it was just what Donnie needed to completely snap once he figured out who fall off the ceiling.

"MOTHER OF MUTAGEN- WHAT IS WRONG WITH ALL OF YOU?!"

"Donnie- we can explain-" Lily tried to reason with furious turtle, but it was even hard for her to explain what were her and Leo doing hidden up the ceiling and have they ended up falling on the table, way too close to each other what even made them blush from surprise, but that weren't their biggest worry since Donnie started shouting madly,

"CAN'T A MUTANT TURTLE SIMPLY TELL A GIRL THAT HE IS MADLY IN LOVE WITH HER!?" 

Realizing what he said, Donnie immediately covered his lips when Marina looked at him with her eyes widened. "Did I mute that-" Donnie chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. He was desperate to avoid eye contact, but couldn't stop mumbling even though each word he said hurt his burned lips. Silence seemed to be unbearable for shy turtle to survive, but to his surprise, before he even came to thought to run away like a coward, Donnie could feel soft fingertips of small hands cupping his cheeks before his lips met with Marina's.

She pulled him down close to her, kissing gently to take all of the pain away, yet passionate to bring nothing but pleasure, in who's kiss turtle instantly melted, letting the emotions take over as he wrap his hands around Marina's figure to pull her closer – make a kiss last longer.

 Pulling away breathlessly, Marina gazed upon Donnie's eyes and didn't hesitate to press her lips against his again, kissing with same passion as the first time, quiet whisper escaping her soft, yet sweet lips.

"I love you too Donnie. I always have."

Donnie's eyes filed with joyful tears. He didn't mind the rain or the dimmed light, not who was watching. Her words repeated over and over in his head, feeling so unreal to actually hear that it made Donnie stutter, still taken by sweet taste of heaven called Marina's lips.

  "D-Does this mean that you wanna be-"

"Yes, I'll gladly be your girlfriend Donnie." 

Smiling softly, Marina kissed Donnie's cheek and turtle could swore he could faint from happiness the moment he pulled Marina into his warm embrace while in the background his brothers and Lily cheered since they were happy for two to finally share a kiss (even though Raph did an eye roll, he smiled nonetheless) and only thing could be heard was Mikey's terrible, teasingly singing one famous line,

"CAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE TONIGHT?" 

"MIKEY! SHUT UP AND DON'T RUIN MOMENT." Donnie said, being the one to take a lead & kiss Marina back.
