FINN'S POV

I woke up early  than usual  from the bright lights that streamed from the window through my new room. It was fairly big and I thought it would make a great man cave. Although I don't really have any friends I'd be able to share it with. Yep you guessed it, i'm the lonely boy. It's actually not that bad though. I get more time to myself to think and do a bunch of all that other lonely shit. Super fun. Yeah, my sister is the popular one, she's nice, easy going, and good looking, so people naturally attract to her wanting to be her friend.  Me on the other hand am pretty good looking, nice, and usually sitting in a corner listening to the clash. I could probably make friends if I actually talked to people.

My sister was pretty upset to have to move away  from our home in Wisconsin, but I was actually looking forward to living here. Maybe it could be a new start for me and I wouldn't be looked at as the lonely boy anymore.

Fast forward to reality and out of my thoughts, I quietly got out of bed and put on my running clothes, thinking a run around the neighborhood would be a perfect way to get more familiar with the new town.  I made sure to leave a note on the kitchen counter telling the rents where I had gone and quickly slipped out the front door, eager to get my legs moving. After locking up the front door, I turned around and jumped when I saw a girl standing directly behind me. At first glance I thought it was my sister, but I realized it was someone else. She had light brown hair, that could be mistaken as dark blonde, a petite frame and was wearing a small smile as she began to greet me. She was pretty cute, I had to say. 

"Hi I'm Casey," she said 

"Um, hi," wow Finn way to greet a pretty girl. You sure are a charmer. 

"Were neighbors, I live just across the street and I saw you and your family move in last night so I thought I could come introduce myself," She was still smiling. It was kind of contagious and I found myself smiling back.

"Well it was nice of you to come say hi, at least now I know a friendly face here," I responded.

"So I'll be seeing you around then right?" She said flirtatiously. 

"Maybe maybe not, depends," I say flirtinng right back

With one last smile she turned around and headed back towards her house on the other side of the street. Wow, I'd been here for less than 24 hours and already I'd interacted with more people than I had in the three years I spent at my school in Wisconsin.  Now that was progress.
