In Which Life Is... Well...

*One Month Later: Graduation*

I throw my cap up in the air, and go over to Cody. He hugs me, and Carly comes over and squeals.

"We're OUT OF HERE!!!" She yells, making Cody and I laugh.

"Okay... Let's go get pizza and Disney movies to celebrate." I tell her, a life long tradition of ours.

"Yyyeeesss!!" She squeals, running off.

"Am I allowed to be apart of this?" Cody asks from behind me, wrapping his arms around me.

"Yes, if you want to hear us sing literally every song they sing." He laughs.

"Sounds fun." We get off the football field, and meet up with our parents.

"Hey dad." His father claps his shoulder, and goes off with him, most likely telling him something important.

"Great job, sweetheart." My mom tells me, hugging me.

"Thanks." I smile. We all leave, and Cody pulls me aside.

"We have to go live with Grandma for a bit. She isn't doing so well." I give him a look.

"As in?" He laughs.

"She can't do as much as she used to. Nothing major. But..." He leans into my ear, whispering. "We could have our second wedding two weekends from now." I nod.

"Okay." We get in the car, and gather our clothes. Carly, Connor, and Drake decide to live with us, despite our parents telling them to give us space.

As if we would care.

We sit in the movie room, Cody and I snuggled up, Carly and Carter on the ground, his head in her lap, and Drake next to Grandma, who looks very happy.

"Let's get this started!" I hit play, and Aladdin comes on.

"Awe, Riley, look it's your love story." I laugh.

"Well, he didn't have a genie, magic carpet, a monkey, or a psycho in between us. So nah. Not at all." Cody sits there looking at me, as I watch the movie with the others.

By 5 AM, we all fall asleep in the movie room, none of us really wanting to get up.

"Come on." Cody picks me up bridal style, and carries me to our shared bedroom, putting me down softly on the bed.

"If you're trying to seduce me, it isn't working." I mumble, still half asleep.

"Damn." He mutters, and kisses my neck.

"Go to bed, you horny bastard." I gripe. He huffs.

"Fine! Geez wanting to seduce my fricking wife and this is what I get." He complains, turning and flopping on the bed.

"I love you!" I grin, laughing at him.

"Psh, sure you do." He grumbles, and I fall asleep.

*Later*

I wake up, and see that Cody is still asleep.

"Stay there." I whisper to him. I get up, change real quick, and go downstairs, cooking pancakes and eggs for everyone. I carry a plate up to Cody, and shut the door. He sits up, skeptically looking at me.

"What did you do?" He asks me.

"Made breakfast." I grin. I put it on the bed, and lay back down.

"Aren't you going to have some?" He asks again.

"So many questions! I will have some later. Eat. Don't worry about me." I smile.

"If you say so." He says, and gobbles it down. I lay there until he lets out a big burp, which scares me.

"Holy mother of Pearl, what the hell?!" I put a hand on my chest, and sigh.

"Sorry." He gets up with his tray, and then comes back a minute later, and lays almost on top of me.

"Ugh get off!" I yell, pushing him.

"But I wanna...." He tries, but I fall off the bed, and laugh.

"Not. What I was expecting. But okay!" Cody laughs with me, and his upside down face meets mine.

"So." I laugh.

"You're weird." He smiles.

"You're just NOW figuring this out?" I ask him, giving him a look.

"No. But I'm just now saying it." He kisses me, and then grabs my hands.

"Well, you are horrible with timing." I point out, smiling.

"As to be expected." I give him a look.

"Yo, brother!" Drake barges in, making Cody jump and fall on me.

"Ow, get off of me you fool!" I groan, trying to get Cody off me.

"Yeah, brother?" Cody answers, not moving.

"Cody!" I push him off.

"What!" He answers, pouting.

"You're heavy!" I yell, and get up. I put in a random Disney movie, and plop on the bed. Cody follows suit, making Drake look at him.

"As I was saying. Grandma wanted you. Like five minutes ago." He leaves, and Cody groans.

"Pause it. I'll be back." He gets up, and I reluctantly pause it. I wait for him, before unpausing it again, not even when he's in the room. He stares at me, when he comes back, and I grin.

"Mmaannn." He whines. He jumps onto the bed, laying his head on my lap.

"You took too long." I complain, smiling. Genie's song comes on, and I sing along with it, which makes Cody groan.

"Really?" He asks me, making me grin.

"Master, I don't think you quite realize what you got here!
So, why don't you just ruminate,
Whilst I illuminate the possibilities!

Well, Ali Baba had them forty thieves,
Scheherazade had a thousand tales.
But master you're in luck, 'cause up your sleeves
You've got a brand of magic never fails

You've got some power in your corner now!
Some heavy ammunition in your camp!
You got some punch, pizzaz, yahoo and how.
See, all you gotta do is rub that lamp, and I'll say:

"Mr. Aladdin, sir, what will your pleasure be?
Let me take your order, jot it down?"
You ain't never had friend like me

Life is your restaurant and I'm your maitre'd
Come on whisper what it is you want;
You ain't never had friend like me!

Yes sir, we pride ourselves on service.
You're the boss, the king, the shah.
Say what you wish; it's yours, true dish.
How 'bout a little more baklava?

Have some of column A try All of column B,
I'm in the mood to help you, dude.
You ain't never had friend like me

Oh my. No no. My my my.
Can your friends do this?
Can your friends do that?
Can your friends pull this
Out their little hat?
Can your friends go poof?
Well looky here.
Can your friends go abracadabra, let her rip,
And then make the sucker disappear?

So don't just sit there slack-jawed, buggy-eyed,
I'm here to answer all your mid-day prayers,
You've got me bona fide certified;
You've got a genie for charge d'affaires.

I've got a powerful urge to help you out,
So what you wish, I really wanna know?
You've got a list that's three miles long, no doubt,
Well all you've gotta do is rub like so, and oh -

Mr. Aladdin, sir, have a wish or two or three.
I'm on the job you big nabob!
You ain't never had a friend, never had a friend,
You ain't never had a friend, never had a friend,
You ain't never had a friend like me.
You ain't never had a friend like me" The song and I finish, and Cody groans.

"Ugh, I strongly don't like you right now." He gripes, making me smile.

"You love me." I boop his nose, and continue to watch the movie.

"Unfortunately, you'd be correct." He replies, watching it with me.
