There were very few things that Irene Miranda was passionate about but nothing fueled her passion more than writing, but she was nowhere near being the reporter she dreamed of being. Stuck writing puff pieces and celebrity gossip Irene struggles to find the story that will give her the credibility that she desires.

When she's given the opportunity to accompany Lois Lane who is undoubtedly the best reporter at The Daily Planet, Irene knows this is her chance at moving up and being taken seriously as a reporter. But this trip with Lois Lane gives her more than she could ever imagine as she stumbles upon a story that will undoubtedly changed her life as she is saved by a mysterious man with unimaginable abilities.

Eager to find this mystery man and share his story to the world Irene furiously begins an investigation that brings her more than she could have expected as she is placed in dangerous circumstances more than once in her pursuit of a story. But the more that she uncovers and learns about the mysterious Man of Steel she realizes that her world was so much smaller than she could have imagined.

Author's Note: I have to admit that I never thought that I would be writing a Clark Kent/ Superman story as I have honestly never been a very big fan of Superman. But I recently rewatched Man of Steel and the Christopher Reeves Superman movies which then led me to start reading a bunch of comics and now here we are. Obviously this is mostly just and excuse to write about Henry Cavill because just look at the guy, but I also found myself really loving the Superman character. Unlike most of my other books this will be a standalone story and it will be pretty ambitious but I really am passionate about this story and it's characters. I will be changing a couple of elements from the films though the heart and theme will remain the same.
