Rin's POV

I stood doorway to Demonica's room, my ear pressed to the tattered metal door. I could hear her at her computer desk. Suddenly the door gave way, and I fell, face-first into the room.

"Oh, Rin, I was wondering when you'd stop by.-" She said sarcastically, glancing at me, before turning back to the guy behind her.

"-Here are you lines, Mike. Now go get the rest of my Aunts and Uncles."

"Uh, Demonica... Which Aunt?" The guy.... Mike, asked

" What does it say on the paper?"

"Uh, Chica...."

" There you go. Now go practice. Here's the music. It'll work on Tearry's laptop, he'll understand. Now, GO!" She yelled, turning back to the neon- green screensaver on her computer. Mike sidestepped around me, as I brushed off scraps of wire from my clothes.

"Hey Demonica. What's up?" I asked, brushing a strand of silver from my face.

"Oh, nothing much. Trying to keep all these people in check." She replied, and Tearry walked in, a laptop pressed to his chest.

"All, right, now you download the software, and let's get to work, bro." Demonica said. I leaned on the back of the chair, and I read the computer screen, that said:

Suddenly, the screen turned black, and a line that looked an awful like Donnie's pulse checker thingy, appeared. Suddenly Demonica and Tearry began to sing Mangle, in a creepy pitch-perfect harmony. Once they had stopped singing, I asked

"Uh..... Guys, what was that about?"

"Oh.. That. Yeah, my mom had the lyrics to that song with the music, but she never got around to recording it....." Tearry said, sorrow creeping it's way into his voice.

'Oh, right... Tearry and Rip lost both their Mother and little sister early...' I thought, recalling what Demonica had said a couple days ago. Then my phone rang, the ringtone being "This side of Paradise"

"Hello?" I ask to the person on the other line

"Zhara Rai Hamato!! Where the shell have you been?!" It was Leo

"Ugh, bro, I'm staying at a friends place! For StarClan's sake,leave me alone!"

"Z, put this 'friend' on the line..... I wish to speak to them."

"Fine.... Hey, Demonica! Tearry! Felix!!"

"I got this Rin. Gimme the phone." Demonica said, and I handed her my phone.

" Alright, you bastard. Back the fuck off, and quit bugging my Best friend! Oh, and GO.TO.HELL!!! Bye!!" She said calmly, hanging up the phone

"Thanks, you really saved my tail."

"No prob. Your my homie. "Demonica said, as Tearry walked in, and said,

"Alright Music Mixer Demonica, let's mix some music."

"You got it, Music Mixer Tearry. Let's do this."

'Music Mixer.... What the hell?' I thought, shrugging my shoulders.
