You're part of the family now

After school, Jori's little Banette was waiting by the front door very impatiently. She felt by now she almost couldn't live without her human friend. He so far has been the only one most kind to her, than the last one that threw her out. It's almost as if ever time he left her presence. It would always be their last. but...this extreme thirst for companionship and Jori's affection. Is becoming a bit of a burden. He does have a life too...and this Ghost doesn't really see that. Jori is trying to find a polite way of saying, he doesn't want to spend time with her right now. But...he grew rather close to the Pokemon in just a few weeks time. It saddens him to a small extent. But he doesn't let it become an drag, and cherishes their snuggle time just as much as he does her. It's only, he has priorities and goals. Where as she's just some........pet. She doesn't think of her life that way. But it's kind of become like that for a bit now. Having companionship was the best thing that ever happened to her. Last person who gave her that, threw her out like a toy. Although she didn't fear it this time...she didn't want to be left behind. School seemed to be the hardest thing for her to endure. Her best friend being out of her sight for nearly 6 hours a day was tough, almost to the point where it drove her insane. Being a Ghost type could possibly be a bigger problem than Jori sees. They can become clingy...as well making the trainer. Sometimes even sick, with no known reason to it. Ghost types are life eaters. They make themselves the ultimate priority in one being's life...and that's what she is trying to do. Unnapreaciated and lonely. At least she was given the honor being in a family, and viewed as one too, than some pesky undead Pokemon. They have complicated origins...but that dosen't matter if they are happy with their current life status. Which she is. Finally from the from door, Jori had gotten off from school. Sjnce it was Friday, she had assumed he was hero's the whole weekend. Well...he already had plans. She hopped into his arms once he walked in, and of course hugged her back. But later he told his Banette what he was going to do. Of course, she didn't like that...but she couldn't stop him. He was going to spend the next 2 days over at his Grandma's house. So much for trying to hit him the whole weekend. So he went to go unpack his things, and pack up clothes, snacks, and a few other important devices. All the while, his loyal ghost standing next to him, curouis of his plans. That's when Jori looked down at his unamed Banette. He thought of some things. And knelt down to her, and she tried to mimic an smile with her zipper mouth, as best she could. Something about this kid always made her smile.

Jori: You know what, I think it's time we get to know each other better. First of all...I know this can go with Ghost types too, but are you a male or female?

Putting a right hand up, and left hand. So she grabbed down the left hand that corresponded to his view not hers. So now he knew that it was a girl.

Jori: Ok, I had this odd feeling. Anyway, we need to know that your a girl, Banette. You also might need a name too. Hmm...I haven't thought of one yet. But I did at least get this from a generous classmate of mine, that I think you might like.

Reaching in his bad and presenting a small bowtie, that looked perfect for her head. Banette may be a 3'7 tall Pokemon, but honestly her size scared him. She's bigger than a Marshadow, and met near Lucario height! He tries not to think about these creepy features. I mean...she isn't as creepy as a Mimikyu. That shadowy ghost arm that reaches out from under the...costume...or...head. He didn't know much about the thing. But that and Marshadow had to be the two Pokemon he's most afraid of. A lifeless staring Pokemon, who seems to whatch your every move like a security camera, without retalation. And then a Pikachu looking faker, that's more devastating when it's true power is show. Ghost types were complicated to him...but that's why he liked them. Ghost types are ancient, just like Water types and Fighting. Although they have been despised for their existence ever since. Maybe because of their natural behavior, or jokes. Maybe sometimes just being creepy looking, most of the society can't, or don't seem willing to accept them. Just a few, like Jori.
When he put the bowtie on her head, it immediately msde her look more feminine. Jori thought it was cute, because his Banette was always happy and restless. She wasn't as wild as a Poocheena, but she has limitless energy to use. Although she couldn't see herself, she liked it. He rubbed her head and got back up.

Jori: Glad to see you like it Banette. Now all that's left is a name. Now...what should I even name you. Because when Grandpa had a Ghost type...umm...a Spiritomb it was. When Jori saw that for the first time, he thought it was a Mythical. Of course that would have been nice, but it wasn't. He named it, Whirlhead. It sounds like a weak name, but the spinning head of a Spiritomb reminded him of a black hole, and how they suck everything out of existence. He was close to catching a Giratina. But...something went wrong, and he couldn't do it. Maybe his Grand father could help him name his Banette, he seems good with names.
