CHAPTER 2- Ouch. 

Demi's POV

"Do you think we did the right thing?" I asked Wilmer as we cuddled up one the plane.

He looked down at me, "What do you mean?" 

I sighed, "Leaving Izzy at home... she could've come with us." 

Wilmer stroked my back soothingly, 

"Baby she'd be completely bored the entire time. It's all press for your new album. Frankly, i'm thinking of ditching you at the airport for a vacation... What do you think? Topical?" 

I hit his shoulder, "You wouldn't dare." 

I giggled and he kissed my cheek. 

"Because if I suffer, you suffer right there with me." 

Wilmer pulled me onto his lap and kissed me passionately. 

"Always baby."

"SLUT!"

Leslie yelled into my face as her knee hit my nose, blood gushed from it and her foot swung into my ribs.

"FAT. WORTHLESS. EMO. UNLOVED. BITCH!"       

With every word her foot drove into my side. 

With every insult the demons in my head roared louder.

 Finally, after another ten minutes of beatings, the group gave me one last kick and left. I curled into a fetal position and moaned, fuck that hurt. For the first time in five months I allowed a tear to drip down my face, before I quickly scrubbed it away and allowed the numb to take over. I can't afford to feel right now. As I leaned against the brick ally wall I tried to wipe the blood from my face and knew I had to get home. Marissa's coming at six, and if she sees me like this all hell will break loose. With a moan, I pushed myself to my feet and began the slow trudge home.

 It took an hour, but I finally make it home. Had I actually been paying attention to anything but the pain in my ribs I wouldn've noticed the shiny silver BMW in the driveway, Marissa's car. I let myself into the house and slumped against the wall.

Suddenly, a light streamed on and Marissa walked in. 

"Where the hell have you been?! I've- Holy shit! What the fuck happened Izzy?!" 

I check my phone, 6:17. 

Shit.
