You think quickly, stopping your sliding body by grabbing onto a bit of the ship railing that hadn't fallen yet. You look down as your body dangled over about ten or more walkers who were swimming over to you. Some disbanded, wading over to something else. You look up and over at Clem, who was pressed up against another bit of ship railing, it looked way more unstable than where you were. "Clementine!" She seemed unconscious for a second before she quickly came back, opening her eyes and looking around. Her eyes stopping on you. "Shit!" She curses and looks next to her, tensing as you notice why. Lilly's body slowly drifted, almost falling off if it hadn't been for the metal piece keeping her body safe. "Clem!" You both look at AJ who was dangling from a destroyed piece of metal, gripping it tightly to not fall to his death.

"AJ!" She shouts, trying to move her body. Your knuckles turn white, suddenly gripping the railing harder. You try to pull yourself up, raising your legs to hook through the railing bars but instead your bit of strength wasn't helping. All you could do was dangle. But, you could move down the railing. And that's where you would start. "Hang on! I'm coming!" Clementine assures AJ, she also seemed to be coming your way. Maybe to try to help you both. She made a risky jump to the boat in between you both, yet she made it. "Perfect jump!" You would've given her a thumbs up to complete your sarcasm if you didn't need both hands at the moment. She doesn't respond, making her way to the end of the boat, right where AJ was dangling. "AJ, you have to trust me! On the count of three, let go!" You move closer towards the boat, as extra backup in case she missed him. "Promise?" AJ asks, looking down at you both. "Promise." Clem confirms, holding out her arms as she steadied herself. Another small explosion erupts, making her steady herself once more. "One. Two. Three!" AJ let's go off the metal with a small fearful scream. You moved one of your hands out from hanging, just in case. Clem grabs one of his hands, he dangled over the boat edge. The hungry walkers below started snapping their jaws greedily. "Hurry Clem!" He shouts as she drags his body into the boat. You quickly grab the railing again, to ensure you didn't fall. The boat creaked with the added weight of Clem and AJ. Clementine then looked over to you and held out her hand, "Come on!" The railing was making small sounds, but if you got on the boat it could fall into the water with so much weight. You notice it had already started to lower a small bit. "It'll be too much weight! Doesn't matter how light or heavy I am. I'll manage. Don't worry." She didn't look convinced. AJ tugged on her shirt, "What now?" Clementine looked around nervously, "We need to find a way down! This ship isn't gonna stay afloat much longer." You couldn't agree more. Way too many explosions have already gone off. Another eruption sounded, alerting all of you to be quick. "There! We can climb down from there!" AJ points to the entry way covered by a tarp. It seemed like a fine way down. "You able to move over?" Clementine asks you, "Yeah, yeah I think so." You were able to earlier anyway. You carefully grip the handles, inching further away from the boat. "If you're hopping on though I'm not sure how much weight it'll take." You yanked on the bars a bit, testing your luck, it seemed stable enough though. You take a moment to listen to your surroundings. It was mainly filled with walkers groaning and the ship creaking. Man, if this were the titanic movie, you'd all be great actors.

"We've got to jump." Clementine says, pointing at you, looking at AJ. "It's far.." AJ seemed unconvinced. "AJ, what do we do when we're scared?" He went silent for a second, but he didn't need to think long. "We tell fear to fuck off!" Clementine nods happily, "Yes we do." AJ got up and backed up, "I won't let you fall little dude." He gave you a small smile before running and jumping onto the railing. He held out his hand but you shook your head. You didn't want him to fall in by trying to help you. Although he seemed determined. But regardless, he looked over at Clementine. "Come on Clem!" AJ shouts, you barely have time to register the rope snapping. The boat falls, luckily the other rope was still in tact and Clementine was a quick thinker, holding onto the boat. "Fuck! Clem, I'll try to get you!" She shook her head right as the words left your mouth, "Get to the pier, I'll meet you both there!" AJ instantly denied it, but Clem was persistent. "There's nothing either of you can do, I'll find a way now go!" AJ grabbed on tight to a piece of metal and held out his hand towards you still. You sigh, and try to pull yourself up to get better leverage before taking his hand. You get your torso through the bars, enough to hook your arms around them and grab AJ's hand. He was surprisingly strong for a kid, but you did the rest of the work, using your arms to push up and finally stand on the bars, and then the deck. "Thanks kiddo." AJ gives you a signature grin before moving over a little bit away, hopping onto the tarp that was used as cover for the dock. You follow after him, landing with a soft thud. The tarp was way more stable than you thought originally. You looked around, not seeing anyone except walkers. That wasn't good. "Where are they?" AJ shrugs, looking around as well. "I don't know.. maybe they went to get help from everyone." You nod. Maybe they did..

Clementine makes her way over, landing next to you both, far from gracefully. You all run down to the middle of the tarp. Walkers were surrounding the land and some were going onto the docks even. You three hop down onto the boxes safely. Until an arrow hits the wood that was shielding Clem's head. "You forgot something!" A guy held his bow out as he put an arrow to it. You all duck as it launches, falling into the water. "Where do you think you're going?!" He launches another arrow. You look around, now noticing a knife a few inches away from you. And not just any knife. Your knife. You dive for it, gripping it so tightly your knuckles turned white, and going back to cover. Clementine had other plans, grabbing an arrow and stabbing it into the guys foot once he came around the corner. They struggled for a minute before you charged at the man, stabbing the knife into his head and kicking his body backwards. He fell into the river, left to be consumed by hungry walkers. Clementine grabs the bow and arrows that were left behind. "Come on!" Walkers started making the ways you took to get out of the way of the ship falling limited. You followed Clem, making sure AJ kept up as you all made your getaway. The ship finally let out one more loud creak and came crashing down once you reached the end of the dock, making the three of you fall forward once you reached land.

It was dusty as hell, just like when the ship first blew up. Except this time it had more of a cloudy effect. Clementine looked at both you and AJ, making sure you were both still there. And correct was she. You all look up as footsteps approached. You and Clem instantly recognized it as a walker. Clem seemed too in shock to do much, she scrambled to get up but she wasn't going to be fast enough. You quickly got to a crouch level with your knife out, ready to attack before the walker suddenly falls to the ground. Louis stood there as he dropped the rock. "Louis! You made it!" AJ exclaims excitedly, you got up and embraced him. It had been too long since you'd seen him. He gave you a small pat on the back. "Yeah yeah.. I did.." He himself seemed astonished. You pulled away from him as Clementine also gave him a hug, "You have no idea how happy I am to see you." Clementine smiles. "I think I have some idea." You three turn once you hear shouting. "Get the fuck off of me!" You rush over to Violet, stabbing your knife into the walker that was gripping tightly to her shoe and pulling her onto the land. "Where- where are you?!" You freeze, grabbing her chin and looking at her face. She gripped your arms tightly.

The skin near her eyes were burnt and her iris's didn't look good. She can't see. "Wheres Minnie?!" You shake your head in disbelief that she was the only thing on Violet's mind right now. "I don't know Violet. We'll find her later." You help her up, keeping her as close to you as you could as you helped her toward the group. Louis finished off the walkers that had came close and looked around. "Don't let go of me.. okay?" Violet whispers, looking in the direction she'd thought you'd be. "Never will." You reassure her. "Clem!" AJ points to a large group of walkers. A few raiders were in the center, fighting them off best they could. "Shit. We can't stay here." Louis stares at the group. "No shit! Let's go!"

Louis nods and you follow him, as well as the rest of the group towards a cover of boxes. Aasim and Omar were there too. "Oh thank god, you guys made it!" You look around, "Where's Mitch?" Aasim looked expectantly toward a tree and made a gesture. Mitch comes out from behind said tree and runs over, tackling you to the ground in a hug. "Holy fucking shit! Fuck you! I thought you died!" He gives you a small punch on your shoulder. You chuckle, hugging him back tightly.

"That's a whole lotta monsters." AJ states, taking a peek over the boxes. "And more coming by the minute." Louis adds, "Stay cool. We knew this would happen." AJ started asking Violet about her eyes, you tuned it out, paying attention to Mitch instead. "What did you want to tell me? Both from when we were in the cell and in the hallway?" Mitch doesn't move, moving his hand to your upper back to keep you there. "I'm not going anywhere Mitch, what did you want to tell me." He moved his head from your shoulder, sitting up. "Nothing important." You raise a brow, "It must've been if you wanted to say it in the first place. I know you." He shrugs, "Well.. I just-"

"Look!" You both follow where Clem was pointing. "They've got the cart around." Willy, Ruby, Tenn. They were okay. They were there. Mitch looked ecstatic, "Willy- holy shit man!" He stood up, waving to them. Everyone else stood up as Willy looked over. He looked more than happy to see you all. "Come on! We're getting out of here!" He shouts as he fires another arrow into a walker. A lady starts firing at the three, making them duck into cover.

"Shit! One of you do something!" He says noticing Mitch and Clementine were the only ones with bows. "I'm on it." Clem says and kills the raider who opened fire on them. Her body dropped as the other raider watches her fall. "You." She exclaims looking over at your little group. She aims her gun, firing but missing once you all ducked down. You take a peek, watching as shes devoured by walkers. Her screams were loud, attracting even more attention to where she was. You then saw Minnie. "No! Get away from her!" She shouts grabbing the rifle one of the raiders dropped and firing relentlessly and letting out a cry. All of her shots hit until she ran out of bullets. She picked up the axe, intending to finish the rest off even though they just kept coming. You and Clem glance at each other, slightly horrified. You could both, without talking, agree Minnie was fucking scary and insane.

"She's lost it!" Louis says as he looks away. "Minnie?" Violet looks up at nothing. "What's going on?" Man oh man did you not want to tell her the truth. Minnie's suddenly bit by a walker in her upper arm. She knees it in the jaw and slaughters it quickly. But the damage had already been done. "Oh my god!" Omar whisper shouts and looks away, "We've got to break for it." Clementine says watching Ruby try to keep the horse at bay from running off. "Everyone run for the cart. I'll stay back and cover you." Doubtful glances are shared as well as silence. "I'll be right behind you. The second I see an opening. I'll make a break for it." Everyone then nods. Aasim helps Omar stand up, ready to help him make it over. The two creep off slowly. You move Violet to grip Aasim's shirt to make her tag along behind them, she was already injured enough. Louis stops, giving Clementine a short peck on her lips, "Be careful." She nods, looking towards you and Mitch. You give her a smirk as Louis walks off. Nice to know they hit it off.

You glance at Mitch as he gestures towards the cart, wanting you to follow him. "I'm staying behind too. I'll meet you there." Mitch seemed hesitant, "You know what I wanted to tell you?" Mitch sighs, seeming a bit embarrassed. "Hmm?" He shook his head but continued anyway, "I like you.. a lot. Like.. LIKE like you. I didn't know it was possible to feel something towards another guy, but- I'm glad I did. I'm not very good with words but, I'm a tiny bit better at explaining with actions." He looks at you nervously, his face reddening. You snicker a little bit as your own face turns red, nodding with a smile and cupping his cheek, both of you leaning in. Your lips touch, you could feel Mitch smile into the kiss. It didn't last long but best kiss you've had in your life, you could conclude. "I like you too dumbass. Now go." You give him a light shove to get him moving. He gives you a toothy grin and held the crossbow tightly, creeping off after the three.

Clementine doesn't say anything about the interaction, you silently thank her for that. Probably was because you didn't say anything about her and Louis. AJ doesn't either, possibly since Clementine wasn't. "Let's do this." Clem aims her arrows, shooting any walker nearby. Mitch had also started shooting the crossbow, making it a little easier. Eventually they made it to the cart, Aasim helping Omar limp inside. Louis waved you all over. But you three pause, looking over at Minerva. It was quite the horrid sight, a walker taking a large bite out of her cheek. She shot it down instantly, you knew she could feel the blood trickling down her face too. She then seemed to notice the three of you. Her face turned into a sneer, "Clementine!" She shouts, grabbing something that might've been a grenade and getting ready to launch it towards you guys. "FUCK. YOU!" Clementine shoots her before she could, yet it still rolled a little bit towards your hiding place, causing the three of you to have to get out of the way quickly. The horse lets out a stressed neigh before it takes off, luckily everyone was in the cart though. Everyone except you, Clementine, and AJ.
