Twenty Nine
I was complaining about how tiresome looking after my hair was when Liz asked me why I kept is so long.
She got me questioning why I kept it so long.
I kept it long for Beckett.
Beckett who is no longer mine.
Since the why is now irrelevant to my life, I went for a haircut the same day.
The dead ends needed to be cut off and I needed to take a step forward.
No more blonde ombre.
No more long hair.
I needed to take control of my life once again and this was just the first step.
Tomorrow I will take another.
And then another.
But for now, I will need to get used to my new hairstyle.
