Zack's POV~

Since the last escape attempt, it's been a month since Eric and I finally met up again. I've basically have given up on struggling against Brian. I'm aware now that I couldn't escape his grasp once it's on me. Eric, however, was convinced that he could escape from Travis. Every time I see him, which is quite often, he's usually being held or hugged by Travis. Of course he tries to get away, but Travis has other plans.

Right now, I was currently in Brian's lap as he was doing paperwork. I didn't think werewolves would have a formal culture with paperwork, signed agreements, and so on. Sometimes I forget I'm technically one of them. I guess I shouldn't rely too much on fairytales.

I was currently on Brian's lap as he did paperwork. Blake and Christian found us in the cage and dragged the two of us out. Brian and Travis came soon after. Brian had to deal with alpha duties, and because he wanted ensure I don't escape, and because he wants to cuddle, he took me with him. Travis decided to go with us as well. He just sits there on the couch, cuddling Eric. Eric would be struggling, but it's really hard since Travis put that straight jacket on him.

I keep looking over at those two as Bryan read through and signed paperwork. I looked and saw they were requests from members of the pack. Assigned meetings as well. And even full moon ceremony plannings for those who have a willing mate. I look over to see Eric in Travis' arms, asleep. Travis had heart in his eyes as he held Eric against his chest, stroking the back of his head.

Brian seemed to notice my gaze and smiled. He opened up his jacket a bit, revealing his chest. He then forced my head against his chest, stroking my head softly. "It'll be a little while, Zack. Sorry you have to stay here and suffer through this boredom. If you'd like, you can take a nap." I just shake my head no, but continue to keep my head against his chest. His fur is really comfortable.

As I was getting comfortable, Rose came into the room with a message for Brian. "Alpha, it seems the alpha's of the Deep West pack and the Deep East pack are here and wish to talk with you." Brian nodded and got up off his chair and started to walk off toward the meeting room. He stops in his tracks and looks back at me, using a hand motion to tell me to follow him. I nod my head and walk over. He grabs my hand and takes me into the meeting room, where he sat at a comfortable looking chair. He grabbed one of the other chairs and put it beside him, patting it to tell me to sit.

I knew saying no wasn't really an option, so I sat in the chair beside him. He smiled and pet my head. Soon, two men entered the room and sat down. The one on the left was the first to speak up. "Hello, Brian, sorry to disturb you." The other one nods. Didn't Rose say they were from the Deep East and Deep West pack? Must be a pack rivalry thing. Brian smiled and gave them a look of reassurance. "It's no problem at all. I was in the middle of some paperwork, so you guys saved me from boredom." The both of them chuckle lightly.

The one on the right clears his throat sighs. "It's about my son Ryan." The other one continues. "And my son Marcus." Brian nods. "So, are the two of them mates or something?" The two of them stayed silent. Brian looked down at me before lifting me into his lap. The two of them look at me. This time, the Deep West alpha spoke first. "I see you found your mate. Congratulations." Brian nods his head. "Anyway, assuming from your silence, either they are mates and I'm right, or they are something like mates, but I'm wrong." The Deep East alpha spoke up. "It's not that, it's just... different."

Brian's POV~

I raise my eyebrow at what East said. Different? What do they mean by different? I sigh and decided to ask. "Explain different. What's so different that you need advice on?" West gulped and spoke with confused eyes. "They share a mate." My eyes widen. They share a mate?! How is that possible?!

I look down and see Zack was a bit confused, so I explained it to him. "You see, werewolves normally don't have to share a mate. They have one they can call their own. And though sharing a mate does happen, it normally only happens when two werewolf twins have to share a mate. Twins sharing a mate is common, but for two unrelated werewolves to share a mate, it's never been heard of." Zack nods at my explanation.

East then asks "So, what should we do? Our sons are future alphas and have to share a mate! What do we do?!" I think about the options. There's a few things I can think of, so I have to suggest something. "Well, I have a few options in mind. You could try and make a house for your sons and their mate in the middle of the forest. Then they could go off to do alpha duties. Sure they'd have to run, but seeing as they're alphas, that shouldn't be too much of a problem."

The two of them nod at my suggestion and I continue. "You could also try and combine territories. And each of your sons could handle half of the pack."

The two of them nod and East thinks about it. "But if we were to combine, we wouldn't exactly be the Deep East or Deep West pack anymore." I nod my head, knowing this. "You'd have to change your name to the Deep Forest pack. Or you could still keep your names and find a way to tell which wolf is from what pack." They both nod in understanding.

West suddenly got confused. "What about children? The future alpha." I put my hand on my chin in understanding. Unexpectedly, Zack got in his seat and said out loud to them what he thought. "If children is a problem, then you could have it so the child chooses. The first child chooses which pack he shall be the alpha of. And the second child would be the alpha of the other. And if only one child were to be present, then they would be the alpha of both packs." The two of them nod.

East starts to talk to west and they quietly talk to each other. After about 5 minutes, they both look at us. "We'll see what our sons think about your suggestions." I nod and smile at them. "Would you two like to stay for lunch? I'm sure my wolves wouldn't mind making anything for you." The two of them nod. "Sounds good. And thank you for your time."

I chuckle at their response. "It was nothing really. Feel free to go ahead and get yourselves a guess room to use for now. Or separate ones if you'd like." The two of them nod before heading out into the dining area. I look down at Brian who looks back at me. I smile and he could see the hearts in my eyes. He tries to run, but I tackle him down to the floor and nuzzle into him. "You were so cute and incredible, Zack! I love you so, so much! You're going to be a great Luna!" He struggles for a little bit and gave up. Making me carry him into my office where I continue my paperwork as he sleep on my chest.
