Both had fevers and was hurting everywhere cause of it since this means they are changing into demons to be with their adoptive father really as he brings them home to look after them really. His mother was shocked and she looks after them herself.

He travels a lot to bring lots of herbs back with presents as his seven guards hate how he travels fully without them as he needs them, but he's being stubborn as he doesn't need protection at all as he proves himself fully really all the time really.

Both handled the change and the boy was a white dragon demon making him to be rare as the Daiyoukai was overprotective of him while the girl was a rare mockingjay demon making him to have everyright to worry about them fully really.
