Drops of blood fall to the ground as I stand up. "Urgh." The boy groans as he get up. " You ok?" I ask. He looks at me before scowling. What a cocky bitch. Or is it bastard for a boy? I wonder lost in thought. *Sigh* I heave a good sigh before leading the boy to the penthouse elevator. Besides from the scowl earlier he sure is quiet...and obedient. *DING* The elevator dings signaling that we have arrived at our floor. Inspecting him more I see that he's probably a freshman in high school or something, glasses, messy hair. Typical high schooler to me, the glasses are a little tinted so I can't really see the eyes. "Follow me." I say climbing the stairs. Before I'm on the last step I glance at him over my shoulder. (So calm. Adoring it though). "Heh." A laugh leaves my lips as I turn back.

Since I entered my room first I left my door open and take off my hoodie, leaving me in my tank top. He enters the room with a curious look. "I'm going to go take a shower." I say before going into the bathroom. "Mmm." The warm water on my skin makes it feel so relaxed and nice.

-10 Minutes later-

Not wanting to make him wait long I quickly take a shower and out a bathrobe on. *Click* I open the door and see him sitting leaned against the bed frame reading. After smiling to myself I tell him to take a shower, "Towel and everything's there hurry up." Is all I say before he closes the door. His company isn't bad, I think to myself.

-30 minutes later-
I'm changed and wearing a white casual dress won't go into much detail besides from that. On the other hand the boy is wearing khaki colored shorts and  blue shirt. I called room service and asked for a change of clothes because it wouldn't be appropriate to be wearing his uniform. "Let's go." I say. The thing lI like about him is how obedient he is. Not asking questions for one thing. *DING* I stand in front of the elevator and it dings, signaling that it's opening. The boy said he needed some time upstairs so I went down first. I walk in without looking and end up in someone chest. "Oh!" Once I see who it is I look away and blush. "Wow Kia did you miss him that much?","Hmph. Of course not." I reply. I don't think they believed me because I blushed even harder from that. But while I'm over here blushing like an idiot Eisuke is over there smirking like an idiot.

"Sorry for the wait-" The boy emerges from the stairs. "JAYSON!" Maki exclaims. Huh? Almost instantly she runs up to him and hugs him while we stare at her in confusion. "I thought you died *sniff* while the men were in the lobby WAHH." She starts crying and I look away. "Woman. Explain who he is now." Soryu says a hint of confusion in his voice. "This-this is Jayson. *sob* My sister ran away a month ago and left him. *sniff* He doesn't have any other relatives besides from me so I've been taking care of him ever since. *crying sounds*" I look back and see her on the ground, crying at the boys feet. The guys look at her pitifully as I compare them. Are they really related? I mean they don't look that similar even if she isn't his mom. They're really different though, her sobbing on the ground and him just looking at her silently. "Will you get up?","Jay-Jayson?" Maki asks while she looks up. "Your embarrassing yourself in front of all these people. If your going to cry do it where they can't see it." He mumbles the last part making us not able to her it but I do surprisingly. "Your right." She says standing up wiping her tears. "I'm sorry for that scene it won't happen again." She says then bows deeply. "Always making a big fool out of yourself." Jayson says then walks into the elevator. I cock my head to the side as it goes down. How is she raising him? "Don't mind him. He used to be really sweet before his mom disappeared, after that he turned cold as ice. I guess it really made an impact on him." She says giving a weak laugh at the end. *Sigh* Sighing I walk over to Eisuke and whisper to him "You and Soryu. Make her feel better she obviously seems sad.","Why don't you just ask Soryu he bought her not me.","Ah because he doesn't know the first thing about girls, so you'll be there to help him.","What will you be doing then?" He asks. "Oh. I'd like your permission to go out. I did get off of work early and I'd like to contribute to this also by getting Jayson to like his aunt.","No.","Why not.","Because I said so." He says. I move my face away from his then *SMOOCH*. Everyone turns to see me tiptoeing kissing Eisuke on the cheek. As they all stand there stunned I give a frown -->😕 "Is it still a no? I guess just kissing you isn't satisfying shall we head upstairs?" I ask. Everyone stands there stunned at my boldness as my brow raises.

~Time Skip~
"Mm one seafood alfredo for me along with your best wine." I say closing my menu. "And for you?" The waitress asks Jayson. "Your spaghetti special with a Sprite." He says. Me and Jayson are across the street from the guys and Maki who chose to eat at a fancier place. "So she's your aunt." I ask. "Yeah." Silence. Your not very good at making conversation. And? Your boring. Actually I think I'm doing fine. Uh no. Just shut up. "Have you been staying in the employee dormitory since then?" I ask. "Yeah. It was too stuffy in there so I went to the hotel for some air.","Must've been it is small.","Are you really a maid?" His question throws me off guard "W-What do you mean?" I ask nervously. "You just don't seem like a type of person to be a maid maybe something better." He says rolling up the spaghetti with his fork. "Being a maid, is a lot harder than you think. It requires patience and effort." I say taking a bite of my fettuccine. "How old are you? I was wondering this in the lobby.","15. Turing 16 in a month.","That's nice.","We never have a big celebration though, even when my parents were here." A bit of pity comes over me and I look down. "We just have more food for dinner and eat while talking. Ask me what I want ends up being given at one point when it's old." He says which makes my pity for him grow even more. Lightbulb! Smiling to myself I keep the idea in my head and make conversation and keep the atmosphere friendly.

We finish eating 10 minutes earlier than the guys and Maki so in the meantime me and Jayson talk, and end up laughing at a joke he made while they come out. "Let's go." Eisuke says grabbing me. "I-I'll see you later Jay!" I manage to say while getting dragged. We walk in silence holding hands without realizing. "Hmmm mmmm mm." I begin to him while my eyes stare at the air relaxed. "What do you think your doing playing with me like this." He asks when we've reached an alone spot. "What's wrong? You do it all the time don't you? Play with someone's feelings then-" Throw them away. Say it. *gasp* I inhale a breath of air as a sharp pain spreads across me. I fall backwards purse slipping from my hands "Kia!" Eisuke yells. He manages to catch me in time before I fall. For some reason my eyes refuse to stay open no matter how many times I try. "Hang in there I'm almost there." I hear faintly. See you soon Eisuke in my dreams.

"Akira this is Soryu he's going to protect you from danger from now on." My father said. I was about 10 years old and he was around the same. Although he looked...older and intimating. "Hello Soryu pleasure to meet you." I say remembering to never show fear. I soon found out that he was 2 years older than me. We got along ok I would ask questions and he would give me short answers. One day..."Soryu who this girl you always hang out with? Is she your girlfriend." A man says. "None of your business Eisuke." Soryu says. "Is this your friend Soryu? I've been wanting to meet one." I say smiling while taking off my earbuds. Soryu grits his teeth "Akira this is Eisuke Ichinomiya. Eisuke, Akira." "No last name?" Eisuke asks. "N-" "Philip. I'm Akira Phillips although you are older could we skip the formalities? I don't like using them." I say making myself look pitful. He raises a brow but them smirks "Whatever floats your boat Akira." *Ssc* I stand up and my chair makes a sound as it scoots back. "Let's skip the rest of school today I'm bored." I say. "Bu-" "With or without you Soryu I'm going." I say slinging my backpack over my shoulder. *Tap* *Tap* *Tap* My uniform shoes tap as I walk through the halls but it's not noticeable because there are people in the hallways talking to each other. "Hey Kira what's up?" One of my British friends ask. "Skipping school catch you later." I say slipping away.

A while later I end up at a park and I sit down on one of the benches. "Your a skipper heh?" A voice says. "Yeah. Schools boring." I say. I look next to me and see Eisuke,"Followed me?" I ask. "No I was just walking." He says. "Hm it's nice talking with another Japanese person. My father is British so we speak English more than Japanese at home." I say sadly. He stays silent and I realize that it's awkward "Gomen. I'll catch you later.....Eisuke." His mouth moves but I don't know what he's saying feeling left out I hold out my personal card "Numbers on it, call me!" Waving at him.

I'm in an alley where me and Soryu usually meet up. "Soryu?","Aww look at her isn't she cute?" A man approaches me along with another one. "Lenny take it easy she's only in high school." The other man says. "Hey Babe wanna come over and chill?" "Soryu!?" I ask a bit louder. They look at each other "She doesn't speak English." Lenny says. "Well even better. No one will understand what she says." The other man says. "Soryu where are you?!" I ask in Japanese. "OW." I scream in surprise. My hands are tightly held onto and I am pinned to the wall. "Uph." I manage to push him away and run, but not before the other man delivers a punch that hits my cheek. "You bitch where do you think your going?" He asks. Never show fear. "Hmph." Standing up I look at him then in about 2 seconds I raise my leg and bring it down on his head landing a kick on his head making him fall down, but I wasn't enough to knock him out. "Argh." The man who I kicked moans and then gets up. "Your gonna pay for that Asian bitch." He says. "You gonna need any help?" Lenny asks. "No."He says. In an instant I'm pinned against the wall and the mans face comes near. I try my best to get out of his grasp but his grip is so tight it hurts my wrists. *WHAM* Suddenly the grip loosens and a loud noise replaces it "Eisuke?" I ask eyes widening. Slumping down I watch as Eisuke hits the man and the other one too. "Eisuke..." I stand in the alley on one end whole Eisuke stands on the other. "I'm going to kill Soryu." I mutter. "Come to my house it's not that far from here and I could get you-" "It's fine I don't need it." He says walking out. *Click* Eisuke stops and turns around and sees my holding a gun aimed right at him. "Why don't you come with me I'll tell you why me and Soryu hang out."

"Mother, I'm home!" I say bursting through the doors. A maid bows her head before speaking "Welcome home Miss Phillips I see you brought a guest with you. Your parents aren't ho- Miss Phillips your face!" She exclaims. "Don't mention anything about my face to Mother and Father. I need a first aid kit delivered to my room as soon as possible. Bring up some finger sandwiches and some tea to go along with it." "Yes Miss Phillips." She says bowing.

When I get up the first aid kit is already there on my bed. I lay on my bed and sit up a short moment later. Patting the bed I make room for him. While applying ointment on his hands I notice the awkward silence. "Me and Soryu met when we I was 10. He was 12 at the time but was already strong. At that time I wondered why he chose someone close to my age but we became friends after some bonding. My father, died 2 years later and my mother remarried. My mother met someone in England and we moved here it was funny because Soryu decided to study aboard beforehand, so he went with us. That was our small bonding moment." I say tucking a piece of hair behind my ear. "Do you want me to put a bandage on your face?" "I don't care." He says sighing at the end. I go into the bathroom to wet small towel in warm water, then come back out and lightly dab at the corner of his mouth where he's bleeding. "I have no idea why it's always the corner of your mouth that gets injured it always happens to Soryu too." I say not realizing how close our faces are. *Knock Knock Knock* "I'll be right back." I say not noticing his blush. Opening the door I see a maid holding a tray with what I ordered what kind of tea is this?" I ask her. "Oolong Miss Phillips." Smoothly, I grab the tray from her hands and bring it inside. Where to put it? Table or bed? Bed. After my short debate I decide to place it on the bed. "Sandwiches and tea? I was hungry so I asked for sandwiches instead of cookies and such." He picks up his tea and takes a sip. "I don't know where Soryu lives to be honest, he never told me."

That was our bonding moment. From that day on we were inseparable it was awkward at first then the mood gradually for better. One day......*Ring dingling* It's a 10 before 9 and I'm at a pub drinking, although I'm underage. After having a seat I order "One Syrah please." "May I see your ID miss." *WHAM* I slam a large sum of money on the table and the bartender shuts up "Coming right up." I smile to myself "There's nothing money can't solve huh." I mumble. "Here you are miss." "Forever alone  on this day dad." It's the anniversary of my fathers death and I'm here sitting on a stool like an idiot. "To death."

About 46 minutes later I'm still at the pub 2 empty bottles of wine next to me and another one half full. *Ding ring* Door sounds and 2 guys come in and take a seat somewhat close to me. "Akira?!?" "Hm?" I ask somewhat drunk. "What are you doing here? At this time of night!?" "Sor-yu?" *Hic* I fumble to get out of my seat but Soryu comes over and helps me "How could you give her alcohol when she's underage." He asks the bartender furiously. "Sor-u it's ok I-I payed him." *Hic* "I'm going to take her home Eisuke. Drink by yourself today." After that I can't hear anything anymore and it's all black.

I wake up the next day to see Eisuke by my side. "Eisuke?" I ask rubbing my eyes. "Where is Soryu?" "Oh your up? I came by this morning to check up on you he left shortly after I arrived.","Oh. My head hurts I'm going to wash up." Sitting on my bed I make a call, "Prepare some soup for me I had a drink last night." Ignoring the ache my head is getting I get up and walk to my bathroom. *Thuth* I rinse my mouth after brushing my teeth then turn on the water to shower.

When finishing my shower I change into a bathrobe and wrap my towel around my hair. Going into my closet I change into a dress with light colors. "This is fine right?" I ask myself straightening out my dress. Slowly I open the door of my bathroom and step out, but it the sight was...unexpected. Eisuke asleep on my bed! I walk over to him and move him into a more proper position and loosen his tie. It seems as if he hasn't slept all night, I say to myself. Shaking the thoughts away I start drinking the soup prepared for me while studying some documents.

"Akira?" A voice asks. "You up Eisuke?","Yeah what time is it?" "7:04 PM you slept a lot." I say after checking the clock. "Can I use your bathroom?" He asks. "Yeah. You want a toothbrush?" He nods and heads over to the bathroom. After I hear the click I go outside my room go downstairs where the maid room should be.

"Excuse me?" I ask peeking my head inside. "Oh! Miss Phillips." A maid says scrambling to get herself over to me. "What would you like?" She asks. "A new toothbrush and towel please. 3 piece.","Just a moment heheh." She says silently telling the other maid to get it while she stands in front of me smiling awkwardly. "Here you are Miss Phillips. May I ask why you requested these items?" A maid elbows her clearly warning her. "Nosy maids should know their place. I'm leaving expect all your paychecks to be lowered." Getting out as fast as possible I make it to my room in less than a minute and get inside. I have a bad personality. Leaning close to the bathroom door I knock quietly then open it. "Oh shit." I cuss in English. Standing in front of me is a shirtless Eisuke who had a shocked face that turned into a smirk. NO TIME FOR EXPLANATIONS NOW, I think quite loudly. Clinging onto that thought I set the stuff on the table and leave as fast as possible, fumbling for the handle. He comes out later and I've calmed down. I'm in bed browsing through my laptop when he comes out in a bathrobe walking towards me. "If you wanted to see me naked all you had to do was ask." He says crawling closer (Note: He already got on the bed). "N-No thanks." I say nervously heart speeding up after it calmed down. When I look at him I suddenly start thinking of my father which makes me cry. *Sniff* The tears start rolling and Eisuke looks baffled "Akira?" "I'm sorry you just remind me of my late father. Excuse m-ee." *crying noises* It's very awkward but Eisuke wraps his arms around me securing me as if saying no one going to hurt me. "Ei-Eisuke?" I ask wiping away my tears as he pulls away from the hug and looks at me.

In a moment his lips are crashing onto mine before I know it. My eyes go wide for a moment but close as he deepens the kiss. I pull back realizing what had just happened. "Eisuke?"

*Drop* *Drop* *Drop* IV bags are connected to my arm looking around its Eisuke's room but no Eisuke. Getting up I walk over to Eisuke's desk with the IV contraption with me. Squatting down I open one of his drawers and go through it but I didn't find what I was looking for. I repeat this process with the rest of his drawers and the results are all the same. For some reason going back to bed makes my stomach ache and I realize I haven't eaten since I fainted. *Growwl* My stomach rumbles and I'm about to open the door that leads to the penthouse living room but it opens for me and that person crashes into me making me fall back but that person...catches me. Flustered I call out the first name that pops into my mind "Ei-Eisuke?"

Long. Had to get this stuff out and other stuff in. Word count 3507 w/o this part. Posted this late today because I fell asleep/took a nap and didn't get to finish. Hope you all like it. Comment your thoughts! That's always fun to read
