Marie (Athena)'s POV

    It was a rather warm day, not too humid but still miserable. I'd just had another argument with Poseidon over the usual, why his son is dating my daughter, how idiotic he is, how idiotic Jackson is, my daughter deserves better, etc.... It did get pretty exhausting, arguing, meeting mortals, arguing, occasionally asking my children for something, arguing.... That's when I had an idea.

   Now, I get ideas all the time I'm the goddess of wisdom, but that's not the point. This was something I'd never done before, and that no god had ever done willingly...  

  I would take on the appearance of a mortal high schooler and, well, attend high school. 

  First things first, I'll need to pick a school. I closed my eyes and scanned the area beneath me until I focused in on Goode High school. The name sounded familiar, perhaps one of my children goes there? Not likely, i ask that  my kids attend more prestigious schools. But to be safe I'll go with an appearance less like my own.

  The next morning around 6:30 (that's the time high schools in my area open, i was too lazy to look up what it is in New York)  I went  down to the school's courtyard, wind whipping my short brown hair around my mortal face. Probably my father's way of telling me he wasn't pleased with my decision, but he obviously wasn't too angry.

  Then a group of three mortals on the other side of the lawn caught my eye, there was something off about them, monsters in disguise? perhaps, but they seemed... different. Then it dawned on me. "no, impossible," I squinted my slate grey eyes, but there was no mistaking them. I walked over, "Aphrodite, Poseidon, Hephaestus."

       "What in Zeus' name are you doing here?"
