the doctor sighed sadly

the line was still straight.

"i'm so sorry," the doctor said, "i announce time of death at--"

"no, he can't be dead!" screamed harry, cutting off the doctor.

"i'm so sorry harry." the doctor said.

by now, everybody was sobbing.

"i announce time of death at--"

beep.

everybody's head snapped up to the heart monitor.

beep.

"how--, wha? that's not possible!" exclaimed the female doctor, pointing to the heart monitor.

the nurse smiled. "it's a miracle."

harry, liam, niall, zayn, and perrie smiled wide with tear-filled eyes.

"tommo wouldn't give up on us like that." smiled zayn, perrie smiling into his chest.

the doctor and nurse took the equipment out of the room, and the doctor said, "i'll be back to check up on him."

as the door closed, louis' eyes fluttered open, then they closed again.

harry was the first one to run up to louis, the other four running up behind him.

harry and niall one one side, and liam, perrie and zayn on the other.

"c'mon lou, you can do it." harry urged.

he fluttered his eyes again.

and again.

and again.

until his eyes opened completely, showing off those blue eyes that harry fell in love with.

"louis!" they all screamed happily, tears gathering in all of their eyes.

he chuckled a throaty chuckle. "sorry i scared you like that." he said.

"no, it's fine." niall reassured.

"what happened?" asked perrie.

louis sighed. "i had a headache, so i took some pills. but it wouldn't go away, so i took some more, then i--" he coughed, "felt dizzy."

"how are you holding up?" asked zayn.

"i'm fine." louis' throat sounded scratchy.

"can i talk to louis alone?" asked harry suddenly.

the boys nodded, but perrie wasn't so convinced.

"please perrie." harry pleaded.

"louis," perrie said, turning to louis, "do you want us to leave and harry speak to you?"

louis pondered for a moment, before he nodded slowly.

perrie huffed and walked out of the room.

niall patted harry on the back, then walked out along with zayn and liam.

"hey lo--"

"why did you leave?" louis asked quickly.

harry sighed.
