Y/N's POV

"Y-yes." I stuttered.

Ethan smiled, teeth and all, and his cheeks were the rosiest of pinks. He took a step close to me, then wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into a deep embrace. I wrapped my arms around him, bringing him close to me. I listened to his heart as we stayed in each other's arms.

We pulled away, but Ethan slid his hand down my arm, and gently into my hand. I intertwined out fingers, and grinned up at him and he down at me.

"Should we go find Em and Grayson?" I asked.

"Yeah." He smiled down at me.

I went on my toes and pecked his cheek, causing his already rose cheeks to burn a bright red. He giggled and we began walking around the park looking for Emily and Grayson.

After what seemed like forever and with no luck of finding Emily and Grayson, Ethan and I decided to head to Bubba Gump.

"Can you ask for a table for 4, please? I'm going to call Em and tell her to meet us here." I said heading to a somewhat quiet part of the restaurant.

"Yeah, sure thing." Ethan replied.

I dialed Emily's number, and it just rang until I reached voicemail. I hung up and tried again, and again, and again. After several unsuccessful phone calls, Emily finally picks up.

"Oh my God! I called you like a billion times!" I complained.

"I know! I'm sorry! Grayson and I were on a rollercoaster." She said.

"Okay, okay." I giggled. "Want to join Ethan and I at Bubba Gump?" I asked.

"We'd love to! See you guys in 5!" She cheerfully said.

"See ya!" I said, then hung up.

I headed over to the table where Ethan sat patiently waiting. Our booth looked over the beach. The marine layer laid thick over the ocean, giving a cold, but comforting vibe. I slid into the booth, next to Ethan.

"They on there way?" He asked, putting his arm around me.

"Yup! After about a million phone calls, Em finally picked up, but yeah." I laughed.

"Nice!" He laughed.

I laid my head on his shoulder, staring off at the clouded ocean. I looked at all of the small people running along the beach, and wondered what their story was.

I tended to think about that, about other people's stories, about what their lives are like, whether they're happy or not. I focus more on people's lives and happiness, than I do my own. I place other people's joy in front of mine, because I love to make people happy.

I think I got too far into thought, because I noticed someone snapping their fingers in front of me.

"Huh, what? Oh sorry! Did I zone out?" I panicked.

"Just a bit." He laughed.

Just as he said that, as if to save me from awkwardness, Emily and Grayson arrived. I quietly exhaled a breath I'd been holding in, relieving my stress a bit, and resting my shoulders.

"Hey guys!" Emily said happily, sliding in across from us along with Grayson.

"Hey." I said less enthusiastically then her.

"So... Is this official?" Grayson asked, wiggling his eyebrows.

"I believe so." I giggled.

"Yay!" Emily exclaimed.

"Aye!" Grayson cheered.

Ethan and I just laughed at their nonsense. He still had his arm around me, and I laced our fingers together.

We all talked about how are days had been so far, even though it'd only been an hour or two. We ordered our food, ate, paid, and then left.

"Should we ride more rides?" Grayson asked.

"I'll do whatever you guys want to do." I said.

"It's getting kind of cold, maybe we should head home and just watch movies the rest of the day." Emily said.

"I agree!" Ethan said.

"Same!" Grayson laughed.

They both, for some reason, decided to wear tank tops, so they must've been freezing.

"Home it is!" I giggled.

I put my arms around Ethan as we walked, in attempt to warm him up, and he wrapped his arms around me. We walked whilst hugging, which must've look quite strange from other people's perspectives.

Grayson phoned an Uber, and we all stood, or hugged, each other whilst waiting. I was shivering, I couldn't imagine how Ethan and Grayson must've felt. After a few minutes the Uber finally arrived, and we were home bound.
