Chapter XV
"Good afternoon church family! I hope everyone is doing well. My testimony is that last week prayers were answered! I had a strong pain in my right arm, and thanks to the Lord it vanished"- the crowd cheers. -"Thank you everyone, the Lord bless you all!"
I take a deep breath before walking to the pulpit. -"Good, good afternoon church, God bless you"- I take another deep breath to control my nerves.
"On the 21st of July I had a car accident, I was fighting between death and life. Every day I didn't remember my loved ones, every day I couldn't talk, every day I couldn't walk, every day I couldn't take care of myself"
I feel tears forming in my eyes.
"Every day the doctors said: There are two options: he stays in a persistent vegetative state or he dies"- I feel a tear falling down my cheek. -"I clung to my Heavenly Father and said to him: Lord, my time has not yet come. There's a church that needs my help!"- I hear hands clap.
"1 Corinthians 15:55-57 says: Where is its victory? Where is it's sting? Sin is what gives death its sting, and the Law is the power behind sin. But thank God for letting our Lord Jesus Christ give us the victory!"
"Amen!"- replies the crowd.
"I publicly thank my wife, Lina Días, for bathing me, for taking good care of me, for persistently believing and for always telling me: You are healthy! Thank you mom and dad for having me in your house, for interceding day and night, for supporting me and for believing I would rise stronger to serve God. Thank you little brother for watching over me, for carrying me, for laying hands on me and for having a lot of faith in my healing. And thanks to all the people that visited or called me"
Suddenly I feel a hand on my shoulder. -"That's a very powerful testimony, brother in Christ"
"You're right. All glory to our almighty Father!"- I lift my hands and close my eyes for a few seconds. Then I leave to let the man say his testimony.
"Hello everybody"
I sit next to Lina and squeeze her hand, she pecks my cheek.
"Martha's brothers, whom we've been praying for 18 years, are congregating in the church's youth group. They want to know more about the Lord! Hallelujah!"
We emotionally listen to more miracles and prodigies. There are healing, financial, salvation, protection and guidance testimonies, our God helps us in every area of our lives!

"If you've got pain, he's a pain-taker"- we sing in unison, while my father-in-law is driving. -"If you feel lost, he's a way-maker. If you need freedom or saving, He's a prison-shaking savior"
Jordan's phone chimes twice, he takes it to read the messages and I discretely see them.
Alison: Hello Jordan, how are you doing today?
Alison: I've heard you had a car accident that took you to the hospital. Do you want me to visit you? I'm very sorry for what I did to you in high school, you're a great man and you deserve love and peace. Please let me make it up to you.
He opens his mouth and raises his eyebrows, I can tell he's shocked.
"J-Jordan?"
"I don't know what to write"
"Need some help?"- asks Matthew.
"No thanks"
"She's married to Derek Fiechter, right?"
"I think so"
"So there's no problem, she can visit us with her family"- he takes a deep breath and writes the response.
Jordan: Hello Alison, I'm doing well and you? It's true I was in the hospital, but I'm good now. When can we meet?"
He sends it, she responds at once.
Alison: Oh my goodness I'm so happy for you!! Can we meet on Thursday afternoon at my place? 😃
