"you wanna grab a coffee?" yoongi  asked jimin as they walked out of the school. 

"sure."

"you know, i'm not used to this whole 'having friends' thing but from the books i've read they are generally enthusiastic about hanging out together," the blond remarked and jimin laughed.

"i'm just thinking about something. i'm enthusiastic i promise!" he replied and hugged the other male tightly.
"see? i'm really excited!"

"yeah, yeah.  okay well, there is this really cool café down the road from the school. i go there all the time!" yoongi explained excitedly and jimin nodded into his chest, enjoying the hug.
"jimin, you can let go of me now."

"sorry! i just like hugging you!"

"this is the second time we've hugged and now it's awkward," yoongi groaned playfully, pushing the brunet away.

"you know, this seems kind of familiar," jimin voiced out as they entered the café. they walked up to the counter to order when the cashier gasped.

"jimin?" he questioned and the male looked uncomfortable, not recognising the male who obviously knew him. 

"i'm sorry, do i know you?" 

"oh goodness no! i've just seen pictures of you. you really haven't changed since 15. i'm jin's boyfriend, namjoon!" the cashier explained excitedly and jimin found himself smiling widely.

"how do you know jin hyung?" yoongi asked, interrupting. 

"jin hyung is my cousin! no wonder i recognised this place!" jimin said and before yoongi could ask any other questions, a squawk was heard from behind namjoon. 

"jimin!" the said male screamed and ran to greet his cousin. 
"you've grown so big! i love your hair by the way! what are you doing here?" 

"he just moved here 2 weeks ago." yoongi interrupted once again and jin giggled. 

"you've been here two weeks and you got stone-heart here to go on a date with you? i underestimated your abilities jimin!" jin exclaimed and pushed the two to a table.
"sit. we close in about half an hour so if you'll wait, namjoon-ah and i can join you two!"

"we're not dating,hyung." jimin said softly and jin took a proper look at the two, only now noticing their blood red cheeks. he bowed apologetically and walked off, leaving namjoon to take their orders.

"sorry. he needs to learn to use his filter for his words and coffee," the male apologised and took their orders.

it was silent for a while. the two boys just looking at each other awkwardly when namjoon left. jimin could almost hear the buzzing in the other boy's head. he couldn't take it anymore and broke the silence.

"i-uhm, jin hyung just kinda said something but-" 

"you're gay too right?" yoongi interrupted and the brunet nodded. he sighed.

"i didn't mean for you to find out this way hyung."

"and when you found out i was gay you didn't think to say it then?" the blond questioned harshly. 

"because i didn't want you to get the wrong idea of me! i didn't want you to think that i was just hanging out with you because you were cute!" jimin snapped back rather loudly. his hands flew to his mouth after he took in what he just said, people's heads turning round to their table.

"you think i'm cute?" yoongi questioned softly and the brunet just slowly blinked back at him, hands still over his mouth, almost as if he didn't trust his own tongue. the older male sighed and pulled his hands away.

"i-i, i mean you are attractive of course i mean-"

"that's not what i was asking." yoongi stated calmly.

"what if i don't want to tell you just yet?" 

"just yet?" the blond repeated. "you expect me to wait until you're prepared to tell- oh alright okay don't do that blinking thing it bugs me."
