Chapter 22

Cockola, you're gonna hate me after you read this >_<

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mina's POV

"Mikki- stop. Please!" I pleaded as Mikki dragged me out of the car, up the steps to the third floor of the studio. She almost pushed me straight into the door if it had not opened.

Zico stared at us skeptically then called out. "Bomb, Hyo, you two have guests!"

Mikki and I waved sheepishly as we entered the studio.

"NOONA!" Pyo shouted, running up to hug Mikki, then me. "MINA!"

"Pyo." B-Bomb said sternly. "Get off my girl."

The guys laughed as Mikki went to hug Pyo again. She loved teasing him and I found it cute. Jaehyo wrapped his arms around me from behind in a back hug.

"What are you doing here?" Taeil asked before Jaehyo had the chance to ask. I bit my lip.

"Uh... I don't really know, Mikki surprised me on this as well."

"Hmm. So it was the blonde." Kyung said, popping out of nowhere. When guys went to take their break, Jaehyo kissed my cheek.

"Well, I'm glad you're here," He said, leading me to sit against the wall with him. "Wanna hear the new track?"

"Heck yes!"

Jaehyo laughed, handing me one of the earbuds. I glanced at the title.

Romantically - Block B

The tone started out having a cool, hip hop-ish and RnB feel. I liked it. When I heard Jaehyo's voice, I blushed.

I thought it was weird,

The infantile Love song written on a diary

Baby, my mind is hot.

I want to know you more.

"Do you like it?"

I nodded.

"It's great Jae." I smiled as he pecked my lips. I laughed. "Do you really want to know me more?"

He chuckled.

"Babe, I want to know everything about you. But then, I think I already know most of it."

"Is that a challenge?" I pursed my lips. Jaehyo drapped an arm over my shoulder and nodded.

"Favorite color?"

"Red and black."

"Favorite Kpop group?"

"Super Junior."

"Favorite quote?"

"It's all shits and giggles, until someone giggles and shits."

I pouted.

"Least favorite thing to do?"

"Going outside. Mina, I know you like the back of my hand." He pressed his lips to my forehead, tousling my hair. A loud cough gained my attention, making me look up. Mikki was on the other side of the studio with B-Bomb, staring me down.

"Tell him." She said.

Jaehyo looked confused.

"Tell me what?"

I panicked. I don't know why, but I did. I scratched the back of my neck nervously.

"I need you to meet me at my house tomorrow."

He raised his brow.

"Okay...?"

"I mean my mom's house."

"Oh." Jaehyo looked concerned, but nodded and agreed anyway. Even though I don't really get along with my mom, she should know... so I guess I'll tell them both. Then, when his phone rang, he left to go take the call. He's been having a lot of calls and texts lately, but I didn't think too much of it. I trust him, and Hwani's gone right?

I stood up, walking over to Mikki who was sitting in B-Bomb's lap. I shoved her playfully and stuck my tongue out.

"Why'd you do that!"

Mikki smiled.

"You need to tell him."

"I'll tell him when I tell mom-"

"Who's he talking to?" B-Bomb asked, totally ignoring our conversation. I shrugged.

"He's been getting a lot of calls," B-Bomb said. "Everyone thought they were from you."

My smile dropped.

"I don't know either..."

Author's POV

"Stop calling me."

"Oh, but baby you know I miss you~"

"Stop." He snapped. "There is no 'baby' alright? My name is Jaehyo, not baby. And I don't give a rat's ass if you missed me or not."

"Aish, fiesty." Hwani's voice purred. "I thought you said you loved me Hyo."

Jaehyo rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, past tense. I don't love you. Get it through your thick skull."

Jaehyo could almost see how angry she must've been from the silence. It amused him.

"I just want you to leave me alone."

"Alone? If that's what you want then I'll leave you alone-"

"Finally!"

"DO NOT CUT ME OFF." She snapped. "As I was saying, only if you meet up with me tomorrow."

He rolled his eyes.

"I can't-"

"Then I guess I'll just have to tell Mina about how you call me everyday."

"She wouldn't believe you!"

"Wanna bet?" Her tone was ice. "I can pull up the phone records. It'll just say there's been a lot of calls."

Jaehyo scrunched his brows.

"Fine, I'll see you tomorrow."

------------------------------------------------------------

-the next day-

Jaehyo sighed, sitting and waiting for a certain devil to show up. He sat at the Han, the place where they used to meet up at. He checked his watch, he was supposed to meet up with Mina in a few hours so hopefully this would be over soon.

When he finally saw her, he groaned. She was wearing a short sunset colored dress that, yet again, barely covered her ass, and black heels. When she saw him, she ran up and hugged him like they were dating.

"Don't you own any clothes?" Jaehyo asked, shoving her off of him.

"Ha-ha, funny." She rolled her eyes. She stuck out her hand. "If you want me to leave you alone, spend the night with me. Not in a bad way, but just a date. And I need your phone."

"What, why?"

"Because tonight, it's just me." She looked up at him, almost desperately. "No Mina tonight and I promise I'll leave you two alone. So give me your phone."

He sighed, handing her his phone, but when it lit up from a message from Mina, he tried to get it back, causing Hwani to snap.

"NO MINA REMEMBER?" She shouted, clearly upset. "It's just me tonight okay?"

Jaehyo lifted his hands in defense, then shoved them in his pockets. Hopefully Mina will understand.

"Okay."

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Mina stood on the outside of her old house, taking it in. From the broken window, to the fake unhappy smiles, the memories rushed back, causing her to take a step back. She dialed Jaehyo's phone one last time, but it immediately went to voicemail.

She sighed.

"He'll show up later." She tried reassuring herself. When she knocked on the door, she was expecting to see her mom but...

"Umma-"

"Hello darling." The senile voice slurred, clearly intoxicated.

It was Rick.
