Ch 4 - Fine.. I'll listen..

The human fell silent, wincing slightly as the door was slammed shut. She hated being cooped up in one place like she was an animal. At least it gave her time to think about how to convince Sans!... She placed the bag she had on her back down on the floor with a sigh, placing Flowey next to on her bed. Frisk couldn't help but drop asleep as Flowey started his long speel about how risky this was and how she needs to escape before Sans came back...

Frisk woke up early the next morning to the sound of Sans entering the room, axe scraping against the floor. "You're awake..." He grumbles coldly, throwing his axe in the corner with a terrifying clatter as he slammed the door shut. He locked said door with magic before sitting on the bed next to Frisk, handing her what seemed to be a hot dog but... wasn't...

"Sans..? What is that..?" Frisk asked softly, inspecting the hot dog as the skeleton rolled his firey red eyelight. "Hot dog, whaddya think it is?" He chuckled, a sadistic look crawling onto his cracked skull. The human blinked slightly before gulping, not daring to eat. Sans sighed, rolling his eyelight once again. "Hot dog made from a human finger. We've not got any food human food. That'll have to do." He muttered, grumbling softly as his gaze flicked away from the other.

The blue eyes human blinked in surprise, softly biting her lip as she looked at the hot dog, feeling her throat go dry. "Don't you trust me? I wouldn't kill ya... without a good reason..." Sans growled roughly as he glared at the other. Frisk flinched softly, closing her eyes softly. She slowly brought the hot dog to her lips before opening her mouth, biting into the hot dog.

Words couldn't describe the flavour of this... thing... the hot dog-like thing tasted revolting, mainly because of the meat inside in it. Frisk had to force herself not to gag as she forced more into her mouth, eating the horrible thing. She would never get used to eating it... Is this all the monsters had to eat since she left? God, she didn't want to go through a guilt trip over a fucking hot dog!

The human's gaze cast to Sans as she placed the half eated hot dog on her lap, forcing herself to swallow the partially eaten food in her mouth as she gazed down to the floor. "Sans... I'm.. I'm sorr-"

"Save your breath. I don't wanna listen to YOU right now. Got a whole lotta thinking to do..." The skeleton muttered with a growl to his voice, Frisk quickly falling silent as she quickly began eating once more. Sans stood up, walking over to the window as he gazed out at snowdin. Or... what was left of it... you could see much from his window, but what you could was a bit gruesome.

Near where the river man and his boat stopped, two monsters were walking together. Probably dating since they looked nothing alike. They appeared to be talking to each other, yet not opening there mouths much so Sand couldn't read their lips. However, he noticed the way that one of the monsters looked at the other. Starved.. desperate.. in pain.. in a flash, said monster bit into the others arm, ripping off the flesh there. The monster screamed and yelled and struggled, completely powerless as the other ate him alive.

Sans tore his gaze from the window, sighing quietly. This is what their world had become.. because of Frisk.. because that fuckin' human wouldn't save them.. his red eyesight cast to the human before sighing biting his 'lip' slightly. He had a question for himself; why? Why didn't he leave her to die? Why didn't he kill her? Did... did he still care for Frisk? No.. that's impossible... why would HE care for the human who kept them trapped down here in the first place..? "Frisk..?"

Frisk gazed up at the skeleton, finally finishing the revolting hot dog. She bit her lip worriedly as she stared up at him, her sapphire blue eyes glistening in fear. "Frisk.. I'm willing to listen to what you have to say.. I doubt I'll accept you after what's happened because of YOU but... I'll listen... you've got half an hour." The skeleton muttered as he rests against the wall, his left shoulder and side of his skull against the wall, his red eyelight narrowed. "Do NOT waist my time.."
