Ch 3 - Sans...?
"How do you KNOW she won't DIE THERE!?!" Flowey yelled as Frisk quietly walked through Snowdin forest, the forest definitely more... creepy... then last time she was here. "I had to promise... I'll try to make sure she won't... that you'll all be free..." the human mutters, looking over at the flower on her shoulder. "You're doing an IMPOSSIBLE task..." he concluded. "At least we haven't run into Sa-" before Flowey could finish his words, Frisk was harshly pinned against a tree, a bloody axe to her throat. "ONE HEAD DOG COMI-" the voice started before they seemed to choke on their words, axe slowly pulling away.
"...Frisk......?"
Frisk looked up at the skeleton, her eyes wide in surprise as she realised who it was. I-It was Sans! But... he looked different... The skeleton was still short and had the same grin as always but it was more... sadistic... harsh... bloodthirsty... In the top left-hand corner of his skull, there was a huge hole into his skull, the left eye light a deep red unlike its usual white. his right eye light was gone altogether! His jacket seemed more saturated but the shirt underneath? It was covered in a red liquid that could only be described as blood...
Sans, or what was left of him, stared at Frisk in shock. The young eighteen-year-old girl he once knew was now twenty-four... God, she was still as beautiful as he remembered... her usual brown bob had grown moe, slightly trailing down her back. Her eyes were still as blue as the bluest sapphires, her pale skin tanned because of the sun on the surface. She still wore that same blue sweater with two dark purple stripes. She had black jeans on and cute black boots that finished the outfit off.
The skeleton couldn't help but feel rage forming in his system. To be honest, who could blame him? This human was the one who kept them in the underground instead of saving them! WHo left them all for dead! If you had to describe how much he wanted to hurt the other, you couldn't. That's how pissed off he was. His red eye flicked before grabbing Frisk's neck, growling slightly. "YOU LEFT US HERE TO DIE!!!" He yelled, his eye glowing brighter as he watched Frisk's fearful look as she gasped for breath, struggling in the other's grip which made his grin widen.
"You left us to die... You made us suffer... And you walk on in here as if NOTHING HAPPENED?!?" Sans yelled, spinning his axe in his free hand before dropping Frisk, both of them now in his room with Frisk on his bed. He gripped the axe with both hands, chuckling softly as he watched the girl.
Frisk whimpered in fear, curling into the corner of the bed. Her eyes skimmed around the room that used to be so familiar to her. It looked nothing like it did in the past... There were a variety of weapons on the floor, scattered around carelessly with blood dripping from them. The floor and walls were scattered with blood. A lingering smell of blood and rotten corpses filled the air which made the girl gag a bit, her gaze casting up to Sans.
"Sans...? Sans, I didn't leave you to die... I-I wanted to go to the surface... to see my family... my friends... I regret what I did but... I want to make it right... please..." Frisk whimpered, curling into a tighter ball. Sans's grin slightly faltered before fading as he listened to the human, faintly biting his lip with his sharp teeth. His grip tightened on his axe, gaze casting away from the human.
"How can I believe you... after all you've done... left us to suffer... go insane... die..." The skeleton muttered. He wouldn't admit it but he felt tears forming in his eyes. He wanted to believe it... He wanted to believe it so bad that Frisk would save them but... she left them once... who says she won't do it again?
Frisk tore her gaze away from Sans, letting out a soft breath. "...I guess it just depends on how much you trust me..." She whispered as Sans sighed softly. He stared at the human before walking to the door, easily opening it as he stared at the wall outside his room. "Sleep." He said blankly before walking out, slamming the door shut and locking it behind himself.
The human fell silent, wincing slightly as the door was slammed shut. She hated being cooped up in one place like she was an animal. At least it gave her time to think about how to convince Sans!... She placed the bag she had on her back down on the floor with a sigh, placing Flowey next to on her bed. Frisk couldn't help but drop asleep as Flowey started his long speel about how risky this was and how she needs to escape before Sans came back...
