Joey made his way back to where the young woman had been. But it was if she had vanished as a vapor. There was no trace of her. Had he merely imagined it?

His phone buzzed another text from his girlfriend, he chucked the cell phone into the back seat of his car. She was crazy if she thought he would text and drive, not only was that crazy but it was just a plain dumb and dangerous thing to do.

Up ahead a convertible put it's top down and the couple inside were revealed to the cool breeze. The female reached her hand out the window, as if feeling the wind. He blinked, she reminded him of the girl he had saw. Or thought he had saw.

Joey blinked, maybe he was hungry. Sure... that was it. When people got really hungry they got to seeing things. That sounded somewhat logical, right?

Joey didn't fully believe himself, but he took the next town as an opportunity to drown out his thoughts in a Taco Bell feast.

The mysterious woman slipped back into his thoughts once more, as he was ordering at the fast food place. "And can you like... super size that?"
