Two weeks had passed since I had brought Virgil to my house. I walked up to his door bursting with joy. I knocked on the door in the most flamboyant tune I could think of.

"Virgggiilllll. Plleeasse open the door."

I heard a grumbling sound coming from inside the room as the door clicked open. I walked in to see a mound of blankets on the floor and all of the lights off.

"Virgil it's 9 in the morning what are you doing?" I said. He rolled his eyes.

"Just thinking."

"Well quit your thinking Dr Gloom, cause I have great news for you!"

His eyes widened.

"What is it?" He said cautiously. I grinned.

"Welllll, I know it's kinda against the rules, but, how would you like to go out for the day? Patton said he would meet us somewhere if you want." He scoffed.

"You mean the rules you made up?" I frowned at him.

"Do you want to go out or not?" I asked. He sighed.

"Fine, fine. I'll go." I beamed at him, resisting the urge to pull him into a hug.

"When are we going then?" He asked. I grinned sheepishly.

"In, about, 5 minutes?" I said, praying that he wasn't going to be too mad. He stared at me and sighed.

"Give me 10 and I'll be there."

"Fine."
