I was panicking. I haven't seen Virgil since last Friday, when I had seen Prince pick him at and teleport him somewhere. He hadn't been on the news since, which meant one of four things.

1: Prince had taken him to jail.

2: Prince had killed him.

3: Virgil had taken his own life

4: He was laying low for a while.

I hoped that it was 4. Oh, how I hoped it was 4. I don't know what I would do if Virgil had gone. Although he wasn't the friendliest, it wasn't his fault. I tried to calm down. If I got too nervous my powers would be out of my control. I looked down to see a set of hooves on the floor under me. Too late.

In for 4.

Hold for 7.

Out for 8.

After a couple minutes of the breathing exercise I could successfully turn back into my original form. Just in time. I walked out of the breakroom and saw someone walk through the door. I'd seen him around, though I didn't know his name. And I knew everyone's name. From what I knew about him he was a quiet and reserved. He didn't try talk with anyone and kept his head down. Except this time, he walked in with his head held high, constantly checking his phone and looking for something, until his eyes stopped on me. He stopped, checked his phone again and his whole face lit up. He started walking over to me.

"Hi! Are you Patton?"

I smiled at him.

"Yep! Thaat's me! What can I help you with?"

He looked at the ground.

"I, uh, oh god, this is going to sound weird, but, can you come with me?"

He leaned closer to me and whispered something.

"It's about Virgil."

I stared at him. Now that I had a good look of his face, I noticed how familiar he looked. Yet, I couldn't quite put my finger on what he reminded me of.

"You know where Virgil is?" I asked, trying not to get my hopes up. He nodded. I looked around the store. We were the only ones there. Turning around to face him, I grinned.

"Give me a minute to lock up the shop and I'll be right there."
