On the day of Engagement, the resort was beautifully decorated and was awaiting the arrival of the couple.

Arjun came down in a blue sherwani while Adaa wore a white saree with blue shade.

Adaa was looking down feeling shy while Arjun found it difficult to avert his gaze from his love. Her brothers complimented her and made her stand beside Arjun. With all the formalities, they were about to exchange the rings when they heard a voice.

"Mr. Arjun Thakur...you are under arrest"

Hearing which the whole hall became silent. And the three policemen came walking in.

"No inspector, you might be mistaken...he is Arjun Singhania", said Ro.

"It doesn't matter Mr. Rohit Sharma. We have got strong evidence proving that he is behind all the illegal activities in Mumbai", said the inspector shocking everyone present there.

"Inspector...you might have got some wrong information...he is not...", before Adaa could complete, Inspector stopped her.

"Mam, if you interfere in our business...then we might need to take you along with him"

"Don't you dare drag her into this...do what you are here for", threatened Arjun not wanting to attract more attention than they already have.

Before leaving, Arjun turned towards Adaa and looked at her tear-stained face. Feeling bad that he is the reason behind her tears, he said: "Princess, don't worry...I will be back within a few hours"

Everybody stood rooted in their place not understanding what just happened. Why didn't Arjun protest or say something? Did he really do something wrong? With numerous questions flooding her mind, Adaa sat down crying. Sakshi bhabhi and Anushka immediately rushed towards her and hugged her tightly rubbing her back trying to console her.

"Sorry Adaa, I should have warned you before itself...but we didn't have anything to prove our words until we got our hands on the details of the drug mafia from Arjun's secretary", said Swara breaking the silence and coming towards Adaa.

As Adaa looked at her being confused, she and Sanskar revealed their true identities shocking the team for the second time in the day.

"Yesterday, my men could find out the phone number of Arjun's secretary from Arjun's call logs and as we contacted him and shown him few pictures of us with Arjun which we clicked here, he believed us to be his close acquaintance and told us all the details about the drug mafia which is run by Arjun", said Swara.

"Arjun is very intelligent Adaa...it took us three years and if it is not for you, we wouldn't have access to his phone number as well. The secretary was a tough nut to crack too, we had to spoof Arjun's number to make him believe that we are not of any harm. Though we knew that this case wouldn't put him behind the bars for much time, we could create a sense of panic in the small rats who are involved in such illegal activities", continued Sanskar.

"Law is tied with many restrictions Adaa...so such criminals are either encountered by us or murdered by their gangs who might find him as a potential threat to them because he might know all the loopholes of other criminals...that is the reason we wanted to find the evidence before you getting married to him...so that you don't have to suffer for your lifetime", explained Swara wishing that her friend wouldn't misunderstand her. 

As the team registered each word, they didn't know what to say but all this triggered a long lost memory in Virat's mind. 

"How many times I told you...not to call me on my personal number...I am with Ro and he shouldn't know about these activities...he would be very angry", these were the words Virat heard when Arjun was speaking in the call when Ro first introduced Arjun to him.

Since that day, Virat was getting these negative vibes from this man but he didn't utter his thoughts out not wanting to worry anyone because then he thought Arjun to be an outsider and wouldn't cause any harm to his closed ones and now Virat didn't want to add to the misery of Ro who is totally broken as he never in the dreams imagined his best friend to be a culprit.

Priyanka bhabhi and Rithika bhabhi took the kids into a room as they were wailing not understanding anything as of why everyone is so silent and not wanting to play with them. Adaa was just sitting on the floor with her head in Sakshi bhabhi's lap with her eyes open looking at nothing in particular.

As Arjun was bailed out, he directly headed to the resort. Looking at him, Ro immediately went near him and confronted him.

"Arjun, is it true that you are part of illegal activities?", asked Ro only to get silence as a response. Losing his cool, Ro held his collar "I am asking for the last time Arjun...is it you who they were looking for?"

"Yes", is all Arjun could mutter with a sigh and with that Ro pushed him away shouting "Get out"

"Ro, calm down...let's listen to him", intervened Mahi bhai.

"Sorry bhai...this all started because of me and I will end it myself", said Ro with fury evident in his face.

"Ro...think about Adaa...she loves him", said Virat looking at his sister who was all in tears not knowing whom to listen and what to do.

"Vi...we can't put her in the hands of a criminal...God knows what he would do to her", said Ro.

All the while Arjun was looking at his lady love and just then they heard a gunshot and Mahi bhai reacted fast and pulled Adaa out of the way at the right moment and the bullet just went through hitting her hand. Arjun giving her a glance and making sure that she is fine, he ran behind the person who tried to escape from there as soon as he realized that he misfired. Swara and Sanskar too went behind him and as they reached, all they found was the dead body of the man, and Arjun was nowhere to be seen.

"First aid box", shouted Virat and everyone there had tears in their eyes.

Sakshi attended her and put on a bandage to stop the blood. Mahi bhai called for doctor who came after thirty minutes and he dressed the wounds after giving a pain killer. Only after hearing "Nothing to worry" from him, everyone in the room heaved a sigh of relief.

As Swara and Sanskar came back, Adaa looked at them expectantly.

"We checked the man's identity, looks like he is a local goon hire by Arjun's rivals to kill him because the shot was not directed to you...", explained Sanskar.

"How is Arjun?", asked Adaa worry evident on her face.

"We just found this man dead...probably shot by Arjun...will only know after postmortem and further investigation", said Swara.

"Bacha, you need rest, we will sort it out tomorrow okay...don't stress yourself much", saying which Mahi bhai kissed her forehead and left from there taking Virat and the others along with him.

Out of the room Mahi bhai tried to speak with Ro but he immediately left to his room.

"Rithika, please take care of him", said Mahi bhai for which Rithika nodded in approval before following Ro.

In the night as Adaa was just staring at the ceiling, Arjun sneaked in through the window.

Looking at him, Adaa hugged him immediately and cried her heart out. She cupped his face and said: "Arjun I don't know what you were involved in but please leave all that and we will start afresh. I will speak with Ro bhayya...we will live happily together"

Hearing which Arjun smiled at her innocence.

"Princess, it's not that easy...once entered into this black market...killing or getting killed are the only options"

"No Arjun...we have Swara and Sanskar right...they will arrest the remaining and we will go far away from all these...no one will know who you are", reasoned out Adaa.

"Princess...you don't know about the world out there, they are very influential people...just like how I came out today within hours, they will too and most importantly you are forgetting that you are the sister of International cricket players and you are saying that you will come with me to a faraway place leaving them..."

"Maybe we could hide you somewhere...", whispered Adaa not wanting to leave Arjun.

"Just like how I hid you in my heart", said Arjun, and tears flew from his eyes as he realized that probably these are the last few moments with her.

"I love you Arjun...I want you by my side all my life", wept Adaa hugging him tightly. Hearing her confession, it was difficult for him to control himself but he gently wiped her tears and made her sleep on the bed. His eyes fell on the bandage and he ran his fingers on it gently.

"Is it paining princess?", asked Arjun feeling guilty because he knew that he was the reason for her pain for which Adaa nodded her head in negation with a cute smile.

"Baby...look at the dark circles, I don't like my bride to be worn out. It's time you get some sleep", pampered Arjun patting her head.

"I don't want you to leave me...you will stay right?", asked Adaa.

"I will be here until you find me in your dreams", saying which Arjun kissed her forehead and she closed her eyes holding his hand.

"Are you angry with me...Arjun trust me I didn't know Swara and Sanskar were working for the department...I...", asked Adaa getting up suddenly.

"Shhh...no more speaking...lie down and get some sleep and I am not at all angry with you", said Arjun, and this time Adaa obliged. With a lot of questions, she fell asleep and for one last time, giving a glance at her...he left the place.
