Anybody's POV

Poppy loved singing, dancing, hugging- did I mention dancing? She loved all those things with all her heart, which doesn't make sense cause you only have 1 heart... Anywayyyy,

Poppy was having a great time in the village doing things she loved, she could do it whenever she wants whenever she wants and no one would judge her because everyone else around were all like her! Now that's paradise, unless you're theodd1sout. (A/N Who knows who he is?) But nobody ever thought about being unique, I mean, don't get me wrong, everyone was unique in their own way, but they added up to be the same, if that makes sense.

Ok we're going off topic back to what Poppy loves.

Poppy loved singing dancing hugging blah blah blah and, it makes me uneasy saying his name, Creek. Ugh, him, why would she love him? He's so, ew.

But I am glad to say that Poppy doesn't seem too happy or comfortable around him. Maybe I should stop narrating and let's just get to the point.

Poppy was having a great time singing and dancing with her friends, keeping in mind Creek wasn't there. (Thank goodness) And then guess who showed up after the song? Yup,

Creep- I mean, Creek (I like autocorrect, we think alike)

"Hey Poppy love? How are you today?" Creek spoke in his australian accent, he went in for a hug, but Poppy did not hug back, she was uncomfortable, which wasn't usual, but she just, wasn't feeling Creek today (I pray forever) Creek broke away from the hug, he reached in to cup her face but Poppy has had enough at this point,

"Nama-stay out of my way Creek, if you noticed I was uncomfortable when you hugged me, do you really think touching my face is going to make me more comfortable?" Poppy took a few steps away from him with her hands on her hips and gave him a glare.

"I- I'm just tryna comfort my girlfriend Poppy." Creek said, trying to stay calm because Poppy basically just rekt him.

"Girlfriend? Hah, Creek, we're not even a couple." Poppy just laughed at him. Poppy didn't feel for Creek's accent or, anything today. She kinda missed Branch's presence. He usually arrived after the morning song.

"You know what Creek? I'm going to find Branch." Poppy just smiled and walked away.

Poppy started heading to Branch's bunker. She kinda missed him, despite his... attitude, but he was kinda ho- nevermind.

When Poppy reached his bunker before she could even knock once, the mat flew open.

"Poppy what are you doing here-" Branch snarled but was interrupted by Poppy jumping on him and hugging him.

"I missed you!" Poppy said and blushed.

"Uhm, what are you doing?" Branch just stood there, with his arms to his sides, it was so hard for him not to return the hug because he too enjoyed her company and kinda missed her.

"I'm hugging you silly!" Poppy squealed. Poppy's squeal was the cutest thing ever, after her- nevermind..

When Poppy broke away from the hug he just smiled,

"I think I missed you too, but I have to go now-" Poppy just hugged him again, Branch actually missed her, that's new.

"D-don't go! I just got here!" Poppy said, whining.

"Since when do you like my company?" Branch said while Poppy was still clinging onto him.

"Since forever." The words just rolled out of her mouth as if she'd been practicing saying it to herself.

"Don't you have a boyfriend?" Branch said blankly, a bit disappointed but he shrugged it off.

"Creek? Oh, I-I'm not feeling too great about him, he makes me feel, uncomfortable."

Yes 1 of Branch zilch for Creek ha ha!

"Ok then, so you came to me because I make you feel comfortable?" Branch said, he was real confused now with Poppy.

"Well, I mean, do you want the truth?" Poppy was going red, she was praying he would just do what he normally does and tell her to leave.

"I want the truth." Branch said. Oh dis gon be guud...

The exact answer Poppy did not want. This is why she tried to avoid romance, especially with Creek.

"Ok, well, uhm, when I'm with you, I feel, safe. I mean all the times you tell us about the bergens coming sure it can be annoying but, it makes me feel like you're trying to protect us, and I think that would make a great king 1 day." Poppy didn't blush this time, it was the 100% truth. Branch on the other hand, was blushing like mad. She just said, that he made her feel safe, and that he would be a good king.

"You, think that I, the most introverted troll in the whole village, would make a good, king?" Branch asked, he was kinda happy.

"Well, yeah I mean your social skills could be worked on but other than that you're organized, prepared, handsome-" Poppy covered her mouth. Yup, it just got real tense up in here.

Branch was in deep blush, he was blushing so hard he might've looked like his true colours came back.

"Poppy."

"Yes, Branch?" Poppy was looking away. Until a hand cupped her face, and she didn't push it away this time. (Yall know where this is going ;)

"Do I have permission to come closer to you?" Branch asked politely.

"Of course- definitely." Poppy was excited but tried to act professional about it. Take note of how I said tried.

He leaned in, and before doing anything else he said,

"Well shoot, then I guess I'll have to marry you." Branch said before kissing her on the lips passionately, despite Poppy being in a pool of blush, she kissed back gladly. When they broke away from the kiss, Poppy said,

"I think I like you, Branch."

"I think I like you too, Poppy."

"So then, maybe we should start dating in secret?"Poppy spoke with full confidence.

"Ha nice joke Poppy. I'm going to remind you 1 more time, you have a boyfriend, and so far, you haven't proven to be a good girlfriend, you literally just kissed me while you have a boyfriend." Branch said. Poppy had completely forgotten about Creek.

"Please? I promise I'll be the best girlfriend in the world! And when we have trollings I'll take care of them and give them all the sunshine and water they need to grow into a beautiful troll!" Poppy rambled.

Branch blushed at the thought of having a trolling, but Poppy was getting ahead of herself, heck, they weren't even a couple yet and she's already talking about having a trolling.

"Poppy I'm kidding. Of course I'll be your secret boyfriend. But on one condition."

"Of course!"

"Don't get ahead of yourself ok? You are soon to be queen and so you shouldn't even be thinking about a trolling yet! We're not even married Poppy." Branch spoke, jeez he'd be a great father. Aaaand I'm getting ahead of myself aren't I?

"Okie Branchie." Poppy said.

"What is, Branchie?" Branch asked.

"That's my new nickname for you!" Poppy squealed.

"Okey..." Branch said.

"You know I told Creek to Nama-stay out of my way today?" Poppy smirked.

"Nice one." Branch said and Poppy high fived him.

"Well it was nice seeing you today Branchie, can't wait for our first date!" Poppy said and kissed him on the cheek.

"Bai Branchie!" Poppy said and jumped out.

Oh no, I have to prepare for the date.
