Dean and Cas quickly got up and got dressed for school. The three boys ate their breakfast and hopped in Cas's car. When they arrived at the school, Cas saw Gabe and Meg in the parking lot. To be honest, he had been so focused with Dean he had completely forgotten about them. "Hey Dean, do you wanna meet me in class? I need to catch up with my friends real quick."

"Sure, I'll walk with Sammy." Dean and Sam walked into the school, and Cas ran up to his friends. "Hey guys, long time no see." They looked at him with judgement in their eyes. "Well where the hell have you been? You totally bailed on our movie night, Saturday."

"Oh, shit. I completely forgot, I'm sorry! I have a really good reason though. You know that guy I was telling you about? Well, we're dating now!" Meg and Gabe began to jump up and down. "Yay, yay, yay! Cas that's great news, we're so happy for you! When do we get to meet the lucky guy?" Cas was unsure, since they still didn't know it was actually Dean Winchester he was dating, and not some random guy named Jake. "Soon."

When the three amigos went to class, Cas waved to Dean as they entered the classroom. Gabe noticed this and became suspicious. "Dude, why are you waving to him?"

"Um, I don't know he's nice."

"Cas, stay away from him. He's bad news, trust me." Cas wanted to defend Dean, but he couldn't give anything away yet, so he just sat there and kept quiet. Keeping this secret was a lot harder than they anticipated. The longed for each other so much, but had to act like strangers. Cas slid his phone out of his pocket and discreetly sent a text to Dean.

cas: we need to talk. meet me behind the school after class

dean: ok...

cas: don't worry babe it's nothing bad :)

dean: :) ❤️

After class, Dean did as Cas said, and went to the back of the school. Cas was standing there, waiting for him. "Hey, Cas what's the ma-" He was cut of by Cas's lips. "Hey, what was that for? I mean, not that I'm complaining or anything."

"I can't keep us a secret Dean. I can't do it."

"Cas, I don't know if I'm ready to do that yet. After what happened when my dad found out...I'm just scared."

"Okay, I understand. We don't have to yet."

"I'm sorry, Cas."

"It's okay, Dean. I just wanted to tell every one cause I...I love you." That was the first time Dean heard those words come out of Cas's mouth. "I love you too, Cas. So much."
