"Dad why was Nat on a mission?" I barge into his lab then he looks at me with a confused look.

"I didn't give her any missions" he said looking at the screen.

"Then why is she shot three times?" I asked him again then he widened his eyes.

"W-where is she?" He asks walking near me.

"Medbay" I replied plainly then he bolts out of the room, I was about to follow him but I couldn't, it will only get it worse.

So, I made my way to the firing range just inside the compound. I started to shoot at the platform in front of me, the bullets all hit on the center, my anger started to rush through my veins, heart rate picking up as I tightly hold my gun.

"I wasn't informed that you could do that" A man's voice appeared making me stop from what I was doing. I look up to see who it was, and it was Fury

"Director Fury" I address him and he smiled, I walk near him still holding my gun. "What are you doing here?" I asks him

"Well one of my agents got shot from a mission that I may have give" he informs me as we both walk out of the room

"Why'd you give her a mission?" I asks him

"Why the sudden interest?" He asks making me scoff. "She begged me for it although I knew she wasn't in her best shape when she came, but what else I could do? Unless you want me to suffer her widow bites" he said sarcastically, I shot him a look with my brows furrowed.

"It doesn't matter, you still sent her" I shrugged before going onto another room.

"You don't want to see her then!!?" He shouts back making me stop from walking.

"No if she's dead" I replied back

"You can't kill a fox that swift" he replied, I run back from where he's standing and hand him my gun.

"Hold that for me will ya" I winked at him and sprinted down the hallway straight to the medbay.

I took in a deep breath grabbing to door knob, I made myself in and I saw her sitting all alone, and because of my excitement I went in for a very tight hug, she tensed up the moment I hugged her, assuming she isn't hugged that much so I quickly pull away, I look down.

"I'm sorry" I said quietly. "I'm so sorry for everything that I said, I-I didn't mean those words" her gaze met mine and I could see that she's in pain, damn.

"Then why'd you say it?" She asks, her eyes were now forming tears.

" 'Cause I was afraid" I replied

"Afraid of what?" She asks

"Of people caring then when time comes they just stop and leave... And I hate that... I hate when people come and go" I replied looking down.

"Did you thought I was going to leave you?" She asks then I nodded. "I wouldn't" she shakes her head making me smile a bit.

"Why?" I asks her

"I wouldn't leave someone who's amazing as you" she replied back making me blush.

"Good to know then" I give her a grin and she blushed. "Now why did you go on a mission?" I asks her seriously.

"I needed distraction" she replied plainly.

I didn't know what to say, I got lost, speechless, I couldn't form any words 'cause it was all my fault why she needed a distraction. It was me who put her in this place.

"I'm sorry" that's what all I could say, I stood up turning my back on her and walking away.

"Where are you going?" She asks, scrunching her eye brows.

"I'm giving you a space and a time to think" I replied looking back at her, she furrowed her brows, then, "I want you to think about it first, I don't like rushing things, so I'll give you some time to think and when you do we'll talk, if you forgive me or not" I explained then she nodded, I give her my signature smile and left the room.

Nat's POV

She gives me her signature smile which gave me butterflies on my tummy, I like her smile a lot, it eases me.

I sat there thinking about what she just said, it was nice though and sweet of her giving me some time.

Time and space, huh. Well she did hurt me, but that doesn't mean I hate her, I couldn't hate her, no matter how much I wanted to I just couldn't.

It's going to take some time though but I'll try 'cause pain only makes us stronger....

"I see someones in a good mood" Clint said standing on the doorway.

"It's nothing" I replied back and he raises his eyebrows.

"Nothing, huh... I saw her you know" he informs me and I give him a look. "What? Did she kiss you or something?" He asks

"What!!?... No she doesn't even like me that way" I replied

"But you do... You like her morethan friends" he smirks at me, I threw a pen at him but he dodges it.

"That pen is expensive" Tony said while joining us in the room.

"She's getting hormonal" Clint said to Tony making him chuckle.

"Hey, I heard that" I said then they both give me a look

"Sooo, why don't you tell us what you two talk about" Tony pulls out a chair sitting backwards while Clint sat on the table, not long after Steve was leaning against the door frame.

"All right fine, so here's what she said-"

Your POV

"Bish are you crying?" Jared asks

I was sitting on a bench just outside the compound having a facetime with my friends.

"I don't cry" I replied even though I do.

"He doesn't deserve your tears" Charlotte said with a toothbrush on her mouth.

"Well, that's just disgusting" Jared replied to Charlotte making us both chuckle, "bish get off the monitor" he added but Charlotte did something a bit more worse

"Okay, you two stop" Alexandria commands the two of them, then they both stopped.

"Are you on the same place?" I asks them

"Yes" they all said it in unison

"We're going out tonight" Charlotte replied looking for something to wear.

"Y'all having fun without me" I made a pout and wiped the fake tears making Jared roll his eyes.

"FYI this isn't the first time" Jared replied

"Ouch"

"You'll be okay, we know you will" Alexandria reassures me

Yeah she's the 'mom' of the group and I'm the 'one who pays for everything' even though we all are rich, and the two I don't know, they both argue from time to time just like Tom and Jerry...

We all talked for a while until they arrived to the club, we all said our goodbyes and hung up... I sat there alone, thinking while the sun sets down.

Isn't it crazy that we all are living in a floating ball surrounded by aliens, I mean how does a planet float? Right... I understand science but if you think outside the box, it is all so crazy...

"You know thinking about this floating ball planet doesn't help with your problem" Wanda interrupts sitting beside me

"Wands, I'm glad you're back" I pull her in for a hug and she hugs me back

"How's it going?" She asks pulling away

"Still hurts" I replied

"You still feel for him, why?" She asks, her eyes glowing red

"Stop doing that" she stops then I took in a deep breath, "I don't know, I can't seem to let him go, sure he fell out of love I know that but I did too, I fell out of love the day he proposed I was about to say 'no' but I couldn't. I can't face the thruth of me losing him, I was afraid to be... Hurt" I replied with tears in my eyes, she then rubs my back softly, then

"I think love is a powerful thing, and it sometimes makes us blind" she replied looking at the sky.
