I'm probably the happiest I've been. I work with my best friend, and he's happy with my other best friend. And I have one of the most amazing boyfriends ever.

Still, on TV, I was portrayed as Max's girlfriend. I didn't have a problem with it. And if I'm honest, all those feelings for him...are gone. But of course he's still my best friend in the entire world, going with me to my photo shoots, being my therapist, and all those things you need in a best friend.

But, part of him is different. If it's us one on one, he's happy, smiling and all that. But when we're with Harmonee or especially Mike, he's distant.

Cause a few days ago we were hanging out one on one.

We were in the apartment, playing video games. I beat him, multiple times. That's when he turned to look at me, "Can we just get food now?" I laughed knowing he was mad, "We literally have nothing in the fridge." "Hence why I'm saying we go out."

"No! I look like a rat!" His eyes widened, "No not at all. You look beautiful." I looked over, "Really?" "Yeah. Really." I sighed and smiled, "Fine."

But when we were with Mike, every time I asked him a question or tried to joke around, he just gave short answers or kept a blank expression.

So for the next few days I stayed at Mike's house. But when I got home...

"Hey Y/N can I talk to you for a sec?" "Uh..sure?" He grabbed my hand and sat me on the couch, and sat across from me.

"So...God there's no easy way to say this." I put my arm on his knee, which made him tense up, "Hey it's okay, take your time."

He breathed, "I broke up with Harmonee." My eyes widened, "Oh my gosh, are you okay?" "Yeah, totally." "Is there any reason why?"

He sighed and looked up, eyes sad. "Yeah, huge reason." "You don't have to tell me.."

"No, no."

I waited for him to tell me, then he spat it out, "I'm in love with you." I laughed at the response, "Weird joke, Max."

"No...I'm serious." I shook my head, then removed his hand from mine. "What the hell do you mean you're in love with me?"

"Exactly what I mean...I know it's crazy, but I can't take it anymore."

I stood up and shook my head, walking away, "I can't take this right now." "What do you mean?"

"It's not fair!"

"What's not fair?!" "I was in love with you, for months, and then when I'm finally happy and over you...you decide that you wanna be with me THEN?! No!"

"And you think I can just get over you? How am I supposed to do that? You're you! Someone I've spent my whole life with!"

I shook my head, tears forming in my eyes, "We said we wouldn't fall in love with each other."

I shook my head and walked away, packed my stuff, left a note and walked out the apartment.

Right now, I don't need Mike, I don't need Max.

The only person I need to see right now is Harmonee.

Who knows, maybe when I'm with her, I'll get control of all these changes in my life.
