Leo knocked on Percy's door three times. "Percy? U there bro..?" He stopped himself. The worst thing that could happen was to kill someone Leo called his brother. Leo continued, "Percy? Percy?" Still no reply. As he turned to leave, Percy ran toward Leo. "Sorry I had to keep you waiting. I didn't even know you were here. I just finished an Oceanography lesson with my professor.
"I see, 'cuz you seem very wet, "Leo asked, raising his eyebrows. Usually, Percy never was wet because Percy never let water touch him unless he wanted to. So in this case Percy probably wanted to get himself wet. "Annabeth?" I questioned. "Ah yeah, about that, we kinda broke up yesterday and I don't think today would be uhm... the best day to see her." Just great, Leo thought. Apparently, there were even bad days for killing somebody. Wow. "Oh it's fine Percy, just ask her to come and see me, and she'll agree."
"I might, but first could you give me some details of why you've turned up here today?" Leo's mind went blank. He was definitely not prepared for this. "Buford went missing," He replied, regretting what he said the minute it had come out of his mouth. He felt like an idiot. Oh no.
"Ok? But I thought Buford already went missing once before?" Percy asked, suspiciously. "Yeah, hahaha, Buford likes to go missing...often...I guess," Leo blushed. He messed up too much. Either Percy was fooled, or he didn't want to reply to Leo's stupid replies. But none of the ideas was good, because both made Percy suspicious.
Percy decided to think while scratching his ears and waving at Leo. "Come on, I'll bring you to Annabeth, but promise you won't say anything in front of her that will embarrass me. We might have broken up, but we're still good friends...
