Okay, so I said I would post this and then totally forgot about it and now it's dark and the lighting is shit but I'm not doing it tomorrow bc I will forget and it will keep hanging in my "to do" list for another two weeks, like it already has, so whatever

This was supposed to be the painting for my art exam, which I ended up deciding not to take in about February, so it's just a random painting now. And I don't really like painting, so yeah...

Basically, I wanted to do some kind of graphic artwork but the teacher said that it has to be something bigger for the exam and she said it would be the best to paint and then add some random decor on it or something like that but I wasn't really a fan of the idea, so eventually we came up with the solution to use heavy primer

Also, since the exam description asked for it, I have a bunch of sketches (or rather 'trials' on paper instead of canvas) (I had more but I can't find them lol)

Then I forgot to take pictures (or maybe dropped it bc I originally was taking them to put into my presentation for the exam but since I no longer needed it, I might have just stopped, so yeah...)
This was the presumed final result but I though it lacked something and one of my classmates suggested painting in some animal and I thought it was brilliant bc it would add more color to the "blues"

Also, about the paint: back when I was just sketching (actually sketching with pencils) I imagined the whole thing blue. The day I was supposed to start painting, I realized that I didn't have acrylics, only a couple of old ones and I didn't trust them, so I asked my friend but she didn't have any either and while that wouldn't have been a problem, since my school is literally in the city center and I could just gone and bough some from any of the 3 craft stores in the area, I couldn't bc my country was still under heavy quarantine and people who didn't have so called "green passes" (aka weren't vaccinated or had a medical note that they had had covid) weren't allowed to any non-essential stores. So that was a problem, bc I didn't have one. Two of my classmates were going to a nearby grocery store and it has some stuff like that, so I asked them if they could buy it for me and I would return the money and they agreed. When they returned, they explained that the store didn't have any paint, so they went to a bookshop that is inside of the same building and only after they had checked out did they realize that the whole pack was only different shades of blue paint and they were so sorry about it whole i was laughing my ass off and saying that I was only gonna use blue paint anyway and they just made it easier for me bc I nk longer needed to mix it lmao
