So... Since October is just around the corner (according to my calculations) so is Inktober and this will be my 3rd time participating. I have decided to try something new every year. So far I've done traditional ink for my first year and digital art for the second. I've been super hooked on animation and animatics lately (yet again lol) and I think I could try animating a short movie for this year. It takes a lot of time and patience but I've animated before and I have done it for a month straight, so it's not a big deal. The problem is that if I want the plot to make at least some kind of sense and the ideas to follow the prompts, it will take some extra time. I have signed up for the newsletter, meaning I will get the prompts a week before the official release, so I should have them towards the end of August. During that week I plan to write a script and maybe draw out a few storyboards. September would be the start and when October comes I should be at least halfway in. Every day I would post one screenshot from the movie, corresponding to the prompt of the day. I would make the final adjustments in the beginning of November and then post the full movie (if it's possible, I haven't tried it lol).

So that's my idea, I don't know how will I manage to follow the plan.

Why am I posting this even if the prompts aren't released yet? Good question. The answer is that I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT IT AND I WANT TO START NOW DESPITE HAVING A MILLION OTHER THINGS TO DO.

So what did I do? I created an OC that would be the main character of the movie. Of course, I don't know if they will work with the plot as I don't know the prompts yet, to base it on them, but I hope they will because this character looks amazing and I really really really want to animate them.

Oh, also, I'm planning on doing that movie in black and white to kinda replicate ink.

So yeah, I really love how she turned out having in mind that I wasn't really planning anything when I first started.

I guess I want to point out that the X instead of her mouth was both laziness and a conscious choise because for laziness, I couldn't figure out how to draw lips from the side, so I just went with an X but I realized it will also work great for the movie itself because I'm not planning on voicing the character, so it would make sence why she doesn't speak (also, if I'll manage to work out a plot that would work with the title "Speechless" or "Silence", this would be the best thing ever).

So that's the protagonist (hopefully). I still haven't decided if I should name her or not. If I end up naming her, I think some really short name with like 3 or 4 letters would fit the best, so if anyone has any suggestions, I'm open for them.
