Y'all probably know what this is gonna be. I also made a post about it, so...

Anyway, onto the topic, shall we?

Soooo I was on TikTok like a big part of humanity rn and I've followed quite a few artists, so I naturally found that trend where people would draw two drawings on the same page, one being completely blue and the other completely red. I instantly liked the idea and came up with something fun to draw. Of course, while I was in my apartment aka the place I actually live in I couldn't really do it because I didn't have the lights (not to mention that I literally had no time to even pull out my sketchbook).

But I have a week off school and I'm done with Inktober so I have plenty of time. We also happened to come to stay to our house aka the place we're gonna be moving to next year to stay for the week and my old lamp somehow didn't work after the remodeling of the room, so dad decided to put in color changing LED ones. Of course, I love them and I've been using them more than the normal one on the other side of the room. But y'all can guess what happened today.

I spent a lot of time figuring out what shades worked the best, then made sketches with regular pencils so I could trace because I COULDN'T MAKE A DRAWING LOOK GOOD WITHOUT A SKETCH UNDERNEATH IT EVEN IF MY LIFE DEPENDED ON IT. And sketching was out of question because I didn't want the pleasure of trying to erase a colored pencil so yeah

Now before anyone says anything about their colors being mixed up: yeah, I know Light is red and L is blue, I made it the opposite on purpose and I don't regret it (you'll see why later)

It was kind of working and I thought 8 was done with it but then I showed it to my sister who came to suggest we go to watch TV or something because I was really excited that it was working and she said that they were way too light (no pun intended) and it was impossible to see anything. So I played around with the vividness of the colors a bit more and found out that I could put A LOT more pressure on red and a little bit more on the blue too, so I did that and got this:

Now the "special effects"

This is a very bad photo ^ because apparently my camera hates red lighting. Irl it looks really good. I did some editing so it would be possible to see the thing but it's sadly not red:

So that's the thing. And the reason why I swapped colors is also clear because when the light is red Light is red (this sentence... I can't, it probably makes zero sence to those who haven't seen/read DN lmao) and when the light is blue, L is blue like they're supposed to be.
