This was a process lmao

So one day I was just scrolling through Pinterest when I saw this picture:

My first thought was "if this was a shirt I would totally buy it". Since it wasn't, I saved it and went on with my day. Few days pass and I came to the realization that I can make it a shirt myself and all I need is a blank black t-shirt because I already have the paint.

Again, I had trouble finding a shirt but I eventually did (I totally paid for it more than it was actually worth but whatever).

Then the process began

First I taped out a "frame" of where I needed to stay for it not to look weird (kinda looks like National Geography logo lmao)

Pssst. Floor gang is back ;))

Then I decided I would do the lettering and the picture separately and started with the outline of the word

First coat of paint:

Second coat:

Third coat and the outline of the picture (I ended up skipping one person because it didn't fit no matter how hard I tried):

First coat (I'm actually doing it properly on the desk, isn't it crazy??):

Second coat (switched to a coffee table haha...):

Third coat (aaaaand back on the floor):

Blue coat:

Then I outlined everything with a black permanent marker because it looked kinda messy, ironed on the paint to secure it aaaaand done! (went to the kitchen to iron it, therefore it's on the blanket because we use that instead of an ironing board)

I had trouble removing the tape because the color stuck on the shirt for some reason. I was able to get most of it out with a wet sponge but some remains are still there (you can't really see it in the picture), so I guess I'll just have to wait to wash it out later (I can't get the paint wet for at least 48 hours).

I'm really happy about how this turned out, it must be my favorite of the shirts I made yet. It was exhausting but also pretty fun.
